remember, you yourself has praised and congratulated hawa singh ji for getting reservation to jats in haryana. You view changes now? again?

btw, if someone gets a ticket from dadri or bhiwani - what is harm in that. someone has to get the ticket when elections are announced. Whats wrong if that someone is hawa singh ji.

Mr sunny, please do not go so high, you may fall and get hurt, I have said what I heard that does not mean that I am against reservation or mr Hawa singh, By the way mr Hawa singh is not only leader nor he alone has done this job, Infact people were saying that people like Hawa singh has spoiled the operation reservation by playing in the hands of theCM and congress and I objected and countered their views on ground where some young leaders from even village of mr Hawa singh were present. You are talking of an ideal case scenario where all the 10 jat candidates score high in merit and get the entire 10 percent reservation.

In today's world of cut throat competition, many candidates scoring the same percentage is a reality and in that case a division of 10 percent among 5 communities comes to 2 percent.

Your other point of Category B of OBC is the very reason why Jats have supposedly been agitating - to get a level playing field, to get a share of so-called development, etc. It is the prerogative and obligation of the govt. to redress the genuine grievances of any community. In its eagerness to not being seen as partisan/biased, this govt. without any significant demand from the other communities, clubbed them with Jats. To start with, this entire 10 percent could have been given to Jats who have been vociferously demanding it for long and maybe later on more communities could have been added on an 'as and when needed' basis.

I still see the benefits (If any) of reservation to be a 'drop in the ocean', of course besides the 'backward' tag that we have attained.

dost kahan k fundey laga rha ahai, agar OBC mein aate to B category mein aate jo 11 % hain and wahan 5 nhi 50 jatiyan hai kam se kam, to kitna milta ye calculate karna aur batana? aur uper se iss 5 mein se 2 jaat hain n uper se bishnoiyon mien bhi lagbahg 80-85% jaat hai, iska bhi calculate kar lena dobra se :applause:

10 % for 5 caste does not mean 2 for each instead it will have all the people from these caste only and all can be from same caste

you are totally going in a different direction.Their are two things over here, one is at state level and other at center.Haryana govt should be appreciated for giving 10% to five caste by creating special category and it is way better than putting them in OBC where you already have way mroe than 5 caste. Tere ganit k hisab se 2% jiss tarah tu calculations kar rhaa hai , agar uss 27% OBC ko sab caste mein karega to .5% bhi nhi aayega teri hi calculations se. Coming on to next thing, please re-read the notification of haryana govt again rather then spreading false rumor by saying it is only class 3 and class 4. It has both class1 as well as class2 in it.

for Center demand is still for OBC and just because you have to oppose congress does not mean erything that they are doing is bad.RTI is the one tool which you can use to get all the details.

Reservation of 4 percent for 5 communities for Class 1 and 2 jobs comes to 0.8 percent for Jats.

Please read my reply carefully, Jat CMs of all political parties have let the community down. The Congress has just gone a step forward by offering something which is inconsequential besides the 'backward' tag/certificate.

Also, I regard the selfless contribution of Cmdt. Hawa Singh, other Jat leaders and the Jat martyrs as yeoman's service to the Jat community and have high regards for them.

अखिल भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष पूर्व कमांडेंट हवासिंह सांगवान ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए बतलाया कि पाकिस्तान का एक सामाजिक संगठन न्यायपालिका बचाओ कमेटी ने लाहौर हाई कोर्ट में एक याचिका दायर करके शहीदे-आजम भगतसिंह को बेगुनाह साबित करने के लिए जो बीड़ा उठाया है, वह बहुत ही साहसिक कदम है और शहीदे-आजम को पूरे भारतीय उप महाद्वीप का स्वतंत्रता सेनानी बतलाकर पूरे पाकिस्तान और भारत के अलावा उप महाद्वीप के दूसरे देशों में भी उनका सम्मान बढ़ाने का कार्य किया है, जिसकी हम सभी को प्रशंसा और तहेदिल से समर्थन करना चाहिए। यह सर्वविदित है कि ब्रिटिश सरकार ने पहले शहीदे आजम को आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई थी, लेकिन अपनी हठधर्मी करते हुए भगतसिंह को पूर्णतया मिटाने के लिए उस सजा को मृत्यु दंड में बदल दिया था, जो सरेआम एक बदले की भावना को दर्शाता है।
सांगवान ने आगे कहा कि हम कमेटी के इम्तियाज राशिद कुरैशी के आभारी हैं कि उन्होंने लाहौर के शादमन चौक को शहीदे आजम भगतसिंह के नाम से करने की भी न्यायालय से अपील की है और बतलाया है कि शहीदे-आजम किसी एक देश व धर्म के ही स्वतंत्रता सेनानी नहीं थे, बल्कि वे जन-जन की धरोहर हैं। इसलिए भारत सरकार को चाहिए कि अविलंब शहीदे आजम भगत सिंह को भारत का राष्ट्रपिता घोषित करे क्योंकि महात्मा गांधी जी भारत वर्ष के अघोषित राष्ट्र पिता हैं।
सांगवान ने आगे कहा कि हमारी संघर्ष समिति कमेटी की सफलता की पूरी-पूरी कामना करती है और कमेटी अपने उद्देश्य में सफल होने पर संघर्ष समिति की तरफ से निजी रूप से धन्यवाद देने के लिए पाकिस्तान में एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल भेजेगी।

अखिल भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष पूर्व कमांडेंट हवासिंह सांगवान ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए बताया कि कुछ स्वार्थी तत्व यह प्रचार करने में लगे हैं कि आरक्षण के मामले में मेरे साथ सांगवान खाप नहीं है। इस बारे में सांगवान खाप के प्रधान कर्नल रिसाल सिंह दो दिन पहले ही अपना बयान दे चुके हैं कि सांगवान खाप का समर्थन व सहयोग जाट आरक्षण आंदोलन के लिए मेरे साथ भविष्य में भी बना रहेगा। सांगवान ने पत्रकारों को सांगवान खाप के प्रधान द्वारा दिनांक 22 जून, 2008 को सांगवान खाप-40 की पंचायत, जो खेड़ी बूरा, सांगू धाम पर संपन्न हुई के बाद जारी किया गया अधिकृत पत्र भी दिखलाया, जिसमें उनको जाट आरक्षण की इस मुहिम को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए अधिकृत किया गया था। सांगवान ने कहा कि उनको सभी खापों का हमेशा समर्थन मिलता रहा है और पूरा विश्वास है कि भविष्य में भी मिलता रहेगा। सांगवान ने विश्वास से कहा कि हम अपनी इस मुहिम को अंतिम अंजाम तक पहुंचाकर रहेेंगे और जब तक कि केंद्र में भी जाटों को आरक्षण नहीं मिल जाता है, हम चैन से बैठने वाले नहीं, चाहे कोई कितना भी दुष्प्रचार क्यों न करे। अब कुछ लोग राजनीति से प्रेरित होकर जाट समाज को बहकाने में लगे हैं कि जाटों को केवल दो प्रतिशत ही आरक्षण मिला है और अफसोस की बात यह है कि कुछ पढ़े-लिखे जाट भी इससे भ्रमित हैं। आरक्षण को समझने में जाट समाज के कुछ बहके हुए लोगों को साल-छह महीने लग सकते हैं।
सांगवान ने आगे बतलाया कि हमारे संगठन की उन राजनेताओं पर पूरी-पूरी नजर है जिन्होंने यह जानते हुए भी कि पिछड़ी जातियों को जातीय आधार पर आरक्षण मिलता रहा है, फिर भी जाटों को आर्थिक आधार पर आरक्षण देने की वकालत की और दीवारों पर इस बारे में लिखवाकर प्रचार भी किया है। ऐसे नेताओं से, चाहे वे किसी भी पार्टी से हों, आने वाले चुनाव में बहुत ही सहज तरीके से निपटा जाएगा और ऐसा संघर्ष समिति 2009 के चुनाव में नारनौंद हलके में सफलतापूर्वक कर चुकी है। ऐसे जाट नेता केवल दूसरी जातियों को खुश करने के लिए राजनीतिक खेल खेलते रहे हैं और यही वे लोग हैं, जिन्होंने केवल जाटों को ही नहीं, पूरे हरियाणवी समाज को कभी भाई तो कभी जंवाई, तो कभी दादागिरी से चुनाव जीतकर मूर्ख बनाते रहे और साथ-साथ इन लोगों ने अकूत संपत्ति इकट्ठी कर ली है और अभी उसी के बल पर समाज को खरीदना चाहते हैं। ऐसे ठगों को भविष्य में होने वाले चुनाव में बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।

अखिल भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष पूर्व कमांडेंट हवासिंह सांगवान ने पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए बताया कि आज प्रात: लगभग 11.30 बजे अखिल भारतीय जाट आरक्षण संघर्ष समिति का एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल दिल्ली में सामाजिक न्याय मंत्री कुमारी शैलजा से उनके कार्यालय में मिला तथा पूरे देश में समस्त जाटों को केंद्र में आरक्षण देने की मांग की। कुमारी शैलजा ने उन्हें विश्वास दिलाया कि इस मामले में सकारात्मक कार्रवाई के प्रयास जारी है और जितना भी संभव हो सकेगा, उतनी जल्दी कार्रवाई को पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जाट समाज को इस बारे में आंदोलन करने की बिल्कुल जरूरत नहीं है।
सांगवान ने आगे बतलाया कि यदि केंद्रीय मंत्री कुमारी शैलजा की सिफारिश के आधार पर जाट समाज को आरक्षण मिलता है, तो यह जाट समाज के लिए गौरव की बात होगी, क्योंकि मंत्री महोदया स्वयं हरियाणा से हैं तथा दलित समुदाय से संबंध रखती हैं। जाट और दलित वर्ग सदियों से कमेरे वर्ग रहे हैं, इसलिए मंत्री महोदया द्वारा किया गया यह शुभ कार्य इन दोनों समाजों के संबंध और सुदृढ़ करने में मील का पत्थर साबित होगा।
प्रतिनिधिमंडल में उनके अलावा दलजीत सिंह पंघाल, मनीसिंह मोर, रामकिशन महलावत, मास्टर ताराचंद, धर्मपाल हुड्डा, कप्तान जंगवीर मलिक, राजनारायण पंघाल एडवोकेट व पवित्र जून आदि शामिल थे।
