RIDDLES -- Dimag ki batti jalao

Some similar puzzle about the colour of a bear.

A bear has fallen from a height of 10 meters.
It took square-root of 2 seconds for it to fall on the ground
Now can you tell me the COLOR of the bear based on this information?

Sandeep bhai, again it will be white. a person with normal common sense will give the same answer, bcos connecting with previous question , north / south pole 'll be the place of ans and white bear are there at north pole,
Any way logic is nothing, this is simple calculation and acceleration comes 10 mtr/sec2, which is above the normal g that is 9.8 mtr/sec2. and we know that g may be at max at poles only, so white is correct i believe

Yep.. Very correct.. Newton's laws of motion...

try this from math/ physics / common sense (JAT Budhee) angle

what will be time between two continuous overlap of hour and minutes hands of a clock. (in simple words, at 12 O'clock both the hands of a watch are at one place, now at what time these will be again on top of each others, to simplify second hand is not there in watch)

There are 11 overlaps occurs in 12 hrs time. So time between two continuous overlaps comes at 12/11 = 1 Hr 5 Mts and 27.27 seconds. Is it correct?

Please don't go beyond reasonableness. You talk about a probability but at the same time you should kept in mind the following issues:
1. You talks about thickness of line but never talk about the distance between dots
2. Definition of a line : Line is a path of dot. Hence thickness of dot and line will change simultaneously.

Excuse me mate!! what's not reasonable here and from where the hell "probability" comes into the pic...
and to ans ur issues:
1. You talks about thickness of line but never talk about the distance between dots
( answer clearly says to draw a line thicker then the distance covered by the points... )
2. Definition of a line : Line is a path of dot. Hence thickness of dot and line will change simultaneously.
so what????? .... does this make any sense here

I have attached a pic for you... hope will help you to understand the answer

arre bhai kyu tension le rahe ho ... actually u cant justify such answers ... they seem correct sometimes and wrong with other perspective.
But these are the smart answers ... this is the only thing ... this is what we call lateral thinking ... think beyond the obvious... this is kinda innovation ... so cheers and keep pouring similar stuff :)

sahi kha devender bhai, the first and fit ans was already given by Ritu as expected by Dharmapal ji. other ans's were further lateral thinking to solve the problem in other different cases. so rahul take it is easy, yr try was also fine and better than others

Dharampal ji bilhul sahi,
Mathematician will solve this [problem like this
1 hour + 1/12 hrs + 1/144 + -- +-- up to infinitive
sum of above series is same 11/12 Hours
Physicist w'll go like this
(360 + # )/ 12 V = #/V = time between one overlap (# is angle between
first position to second position and V is angular speed of hrs hand) by solving this equation u ill get the same ans
Simplest way to solve the problem is yours one. Good Dharmapal ji , my aim to post it was that use ur common sense, it is yr best Friend and dont get in so complected ways

Drive it through....

Attach pic contains a railway track layout ,Engine E and two boogies ( A,B)

Deal is to swap the place of A and B and put Engine back to its place.

good luck.......... Rahul

How can we cut a board into only two pieces so that they will cover a hole exactly?

A hole- 12 x 2 mtr

A board - 8 x 3 mtr

size of both (hole and board) is 24 Sqmtr

To cover the hole we will need to cut the wooden board in to two pieces of dimensions given in the pic

Ya Correct Rahul, Pl explain yr puzzle in post no 489, actualy the picture is not clear. No interest is being shown by fellow members in this thread including the starter of thread. Antakhshary thread is clsoed otherwise this JL server could have been failed till now.
PS: purly personal choice

gud puzzle .. lag raha hai bahut din baad kuch achha dikha ... will solve when free ... please post more of similar quality ... really gud ... love solving such quality puzzles.

5 steps:
1) place engine E on left most corner(25m).
2) place boogie A on same corner(25-15mt).
3) place boogie B to A's position(via 1000mt corner).
4) place boogie A (from 25mt corner) on B's postion(via 10mt corner).
5) place engine E (from 25mt corner) at its original position.

please explain little more ... point three is not valid i think. Boggies cant move without engine i assume. Think again abt the same. According to me ur solution is incorrect.

If engine can be put either in front or at back , its not so difficult !!
