RIDDLES -- Dimag ki batti jalao

Well i say there can be more than 1 ans in such question the only motto is to make a sensible series which is having some pattern. So, its wrong to say "its wrong" if other guy can prove what i said above.

Waise Brother, my ans is 40 ... tell me does it match with urs then i will tell u the logic i used :)

Correct dear

What is the logic u used ?

Actually i sum up the two digits like for 23 2+3=5 then subtract the smallest one that means 5-2=3, so jump three places which makes 26 then again 2+6=8 and 8-2(lowest in the two)=6 jump 6 place which makes 32, then 3+2=5 and 5-2(again lowest one)=3 jump 3 places which is 35, then 3+5=8 and 8-3=5 jump 5 place which is 40, then 4+0=4 and 4-0(smallest one)=4 jump to 4 places which is 44 and so on........
Ok bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What was ur logic?

From where does ' Satya mev jayte' has been taken?

I heard somewhere it is a part of some mantra might be from some veda or Gita or some Holy book ... I guess it is from Geeeta when Arjuna hesitating killing his relatives so might be Krishna used these words .

It means Truth alone wins. If u have more info then please share :)

It has been taken from Mundak Upanishad.
There are 108 upanishads accepted , but only 12 have evidence of their existence. These have been written during Vedic Period.

Thanks

Finite or infinite series...

Well i say there can be more than 1 ans in such question the only motto is to make a sensible series which is having some pattern. So, its wrong to say "its wrong" if other guy can prove what i said above.

Find out the correct number in the series.

23 26 32 35 ? 44 48

Nishant... devender is right....its also depends on the type of series.
Finite series like urs 23 26 32 35 ? 44 48 which is ending in 48. can have many answers.

But infinite series like 23 26 32 35 ? 44 48 ......... which doesnt have any end as long as the logic should work it goes on. In this case its very rare to have more than one logic or anwers.

Sumit

mine also same 27 son and 48 father

Solution for this as asked by some friend :)

Baap kehta hai ki mein jab teri umar ka tha aur ass samy jo tumhaariumar this, tumhari ussi umar kaa aaj mein 8 times hoon.
Now, according to the info the euations go like this

Lets say when father was as old as sons present age as X
And lets say After that X to present time as C

So, fathers present age = X+C
Son's present age also = X
And according to question X + X + C = 75 ......... (1)

When Father was X then Son was X - C
Now, as per question

Fathers present age = sons age when father was X yrs old
so the equation will be
X + C = 8(X - C) .............. (2)

Now, By solving 1 and 2, u will get X = 27 taht is son and X + C father which will be 48.

Hope, it is clear now. Dost samjh aagya ke ... agar nahi then message me i will take another attampt. :)
