Sonia Gandhi is not holding any such post which, ‘presumably’, is not permissible according to your interpretation of the Constitution. Do you want her not to participate in any political activity too? I think there are precedents where persons of foreign origin have been taking part in the politics of the country of their actual residence. Examples are Alberto Fujimori of Japanese origin becoming President of Peru, Obama of Kenyan origin and fathered by a Kenyan Black becoming President of the most successful democracy of the world, Lord Meghnad Desai, Lord Swaraj Paul and Kieth Vaz of Indian origin making to the British Parliament, Bobby Jindal and Chaudhary Satyaveer Singh (son of Jat from Rohtak) becoming Governor and Senator respectively in USA. Mahendra Chaudhary, Anirudh Jugnaath, Shiv Sagar Ram Goolam et all have made us proud by making big in politics on foreign soil. Why are we becoming so myopic? Sonia is legally wedded wife of a legitimate Indian citizen. How can you deny her the natural and fundamental right to be in politics? Suppose, a Jat boy or girl marries to some foreigner and the spouse decides to settle in India, how can anyone deny her the fundamental right of having any political opinion, exercising franchise, participating in the active politics and getting elected to the posts which are not prohibited by the constitution?. So this is all rubbish and part of a gameplan by opposition who have nothing of offer.
If we are so allergic about the foreigners in Indian politics, even Advani and, probably a few more BJP/RSS leaders may also fall in that category as they have their roots in Pakistan. Even we Jats fall in that category as our forefathers (whether Scythians, Aryans or anything else) also came to India from Europe/Central Asia according to some historical accounts. Going by that logic, the Dravidians have every right to call us foreigners giving a call for constitutional amendments to divest us of our fundamental right to be on top political positions. To rake up the issue of Sonia’s foreign origin is nothing but propaganda of some political parties who have nothing to offer but sheer criticism.
Please don’t jump to the conclusion after reading above text. Let me make it clear one more time that I am not a votary of Sonia or Congress. But the record should be put straight without any prejudice. It is not the people who are responsible for bringing Congress to the centre-stage. It is rather the political vacuum created by the extreme right wingers who don’t think beyond Mandir/Masjid and the colour-blind left-wingers who have been day-dreaming of hoisting red flag on red-fort since ages. The failings of these two extreme ideologies came handy to Congress which preferred to take a middle path thereby garnering a sizeable chunk of Muslim and other minority votes en bloc. ..(To be continued)

It is a different story that Sonia Gandhi also betrayed the confidence which people reposed in her so euphorically by catapulting her party into power considering it the best choice in the previous two elections. But, she would not be able to redeem her seamlessly impeccable image (prevailing at one point of time), in the next election. Now, people are totally at a loss to understand where to go. They feel duped by all parties and politicians of this country by far. There seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. As the title of this post suggests, we really need to rethink with all seriousness and not to be driven by the strident rhetoric and phrase mongering by the failed and corrupt politicians of the same hue as described above, albeit in a different guise.
If we are genuinely concerned about the country, why are we targeting only one single woman politician by raising an irrelevant issue of her foreign origin. We need to review and refresh our opinion on the whole gamut of issues faced by the country and need to understand the nefarious designs of the political crooks of all colours – be it right, centre or left wingers who are already exposed and have nothing to offer except the hollow and borrowed phraseology. Most of the mainstream national and regional parties are controlled by the corrupt and inefficient supremoes who need to be sent to forced retirement. India needs a new breed of young, dynamic and clean politicians who can root out the old and rotten weed from the troubled waters of Indian politics. So, guys throw the old wine which has become poison, break the bottle and start brewing afresh. This is high time to wake up and rethink, this is a Clarion Call.

हमें यह व्यवस्था नही चाहिए। 1857 की क्रांति जैसी कोई क्रांति की जरुरत है जिसमें राष्ट्रीय सहमति और एकता की आवश्यक शर्त हो। इस भ्रष्टतंत्र में चाह्ने पर भी आप या मैं किसी को भी नामांकित नहीं कर सकते। (कितना लाचार बना दिया है वर्तमान व्यवस्था ने!) अब इस आक्रोश को कुल्हड़ी मैं गुड फ़ोड्ना कहें या बेबसी- पर मैं यह मानता हूँ कि यह बहुत जरूरी है ताकि हम चिन्तन करते रहें कि हमें किस प्रकार बेवकूफ बनाया जाता रहा है। राष्ट्रभक्त नेतृत्व कोई आसमान से तो टपगेगा नहीं। हममें से ही गुदडी के लाल आगे आएँगे। नई पीढी में बहुत संभावनायें हैं।

I never wish to limit our thinking to ONLY Mrs. Sonia but my humble submission is that we ought to probe into the causes that established the DYNASTIC RULERS firmly curtaining their disgustingly dirty and nasty background while insinuating and exerting themselves as God-gifted personages .
The present political system has utterly failed the aspirations, ambitions and dreams of more than 121 crore people of India. Don't we agree that most of our compatriots have been reduced to meager insects & worms and ultimately turned the masses of India into inanimate objects i.e. vote-bank. In the present set-up only the "Vote-Bank" is looked after or it is atleast demonstrated hypocritically by all political parties. This hypocritical praise has resulted into communal inharmonic pandemonium, hunger, unhygienic standards of living, illiteracy and above all division of masses to castes, creeds & religious bigotry. This political set-up has blunted our thinking for our own betterment rather blemished us by turning into blatantly clamorous characterless creatures which are befooled by shrewd & cunning politicians who encourage their "Vote-Bank" to make castle in the air.
But by cursing these politicians we won't get anywhere. We need to sharpen our intellect and become keen observers.

Congress - a curse or a bad dream?
There is nothing wrong in Sonia Madam, Rahul baba and Priyanka baby claiming all the benefits and privileges to which any other Indian citizen is entitled to. But under what law, they can claim a special or extra-ordinary status? Do they have a birth right to rule the country through remote control or backdoor manipulation? Who gives them the right to maintain two passports and use two different official names to suit their needs in India and abroad?
In fact, there are laws in various countries wherein foreign born citizens are not allowed to stand for the top constitutional post/President as in the US and rightly so. Obama was only allowed to stand for the US president because of his claim of being born in Honolulu (Hawaii) which is part of the US territory. Even though Sonia Gandhi does not occupy any constitutional post, she formulates and drafts national laws through HER extra-constitutional civil society led by such anti-Hindu members as the Psychotic Aruna Roy (who like a school kid boasts on TV that she has never bothered to listen to anyone in her life including her dad), Harsh Mandar, Farroukhi, etc.
Though, I am not a votary of any particular political party, I can only say that we need to choose a party which is LESS evil. I would vote for a party which:
1. Openly supports the scrapping of Article 370 (which gives special status to J&K).
2. Openly supports bringing about a Uniform Civil Code (same civil laws for all religions - Hindus, Muslims, etc.). Which does not treat Hindus as SECOND CLASS CITIZENS.
3. Does not succumb to external pressures and conducts nuclear tests if it is in national interest.
4. Does not create separate classes of citizens as AAM and KHAS.
5. Does not loot the last penny in the Common man's pocket and still say that the govt. does not have enough money. After all, who has asked the govt. to keep a growth target of 9-10%? The present Govt. keeps an artificially high target as an excuse to loot the country and stash away the nation's wealth in Swiss and other foreign bank accounts when the common man on the street is dying of hunger.
Considering the above, I would vote for anyone but NOT the Congress party. Though all the politicians are corrupt, the magnitude/level of corruption perpetrated by the Congress party is utterly unacceptable. They are traitors as they are pocketing the very money that can go to feed the hungry or to modernise the defense forces in the backdrop of the Pakistani and Chinese forces scheming and gathering on India's borders.
Nothing can be more unfortunate than the PM of our country saying that the food prices in the country are rising because people have started consuming more food. So according to him, they better remain hungry to keep the food prices in check instead of the govt. stopping the hoarding and commodity trading of essential food items.

The result of Hissar By-election for MP's seat would be an indicator to show whether people still want to perpetuate the dynasties or want a change for the better. As of now it looks that one of two scions of Haryanvi dynasties is going to win. Unfortunately, people are still favouring dynasties and not the independent candidates. It seems difficult to change people's perception.

Are you sure they have two passports??. Can you provide some evidence ....or........ it is just on the hearsay basis?? It is a very serious matter as one has to renounce the citizenship of his/her previous country before getting naturalized in the other country. I am surprised why Ram Jethmalani and BJP have not filed any petition/PIL against them so far

My only question or contention is that they have ruled us for almost 60 years since independence and we have believed as gospel's truth in whatever they said and did for us and the nation. If they were sincere in their thoughts and deeds, why is the country still plagued with rampant and deeply entrenched corruption, internal and external security threats, poverty and malnourishment, etc.
With all these ailments facing our nation even after almost 60 years of their rule despite their best intentionso), I am left with no choice but to believe the whistle-blower rather than our political masters. Hence, the choice is ours - whether we want to allow them to take us for a ride as they have in the past, or WE take them to task for their misdeeds.

It may be true that all Ministries including MEA are controlled by the so called first family. But this is equally true about other political families too whenever they are in power. PMO has always a direct/indirect say in the affairs of all Ministries/Departments and decide delineation of powers. But PMO is controlled by the Party in power and it is always the inner coterie consisting of top bureaucrats in PMO and their political bosses that manoeuvres functioning of Cabinet in favour of the ruling party. So, by consequence, the ultimate power always rests with the Party Supremo. There is nothing unusual if Sonia Gandhi is also exercising that power in Congress Party as she is the President. So the fault lies either with the system or those who mandated Congress to rule this country. If people had better option, they would have certainly rejected Sonia and her team. Congress has simply capitalized on the weaknesses of opposition parties.
As already mentioned in some earlier post, frivolous charges and false propaganda will only prove to be counterproductive. Therefore, those who are opposed to the incumbent government must come with some concrete proposals about the shape of things to come viz. economic reforms, unemployment, education, agriculture, infrastructure, corruption etc. rather than discussing the “horoscope” of Sonia and Rahul as the topic is getting bored. I can see the important issues have been pushed to the back burner and the trivial things viz. Sonia and her vanity box have been brought to the fore.
Time and again we have discussed the report card of the present government in length & breadth and majority opinion is that the ruling party do not deserve to be brought back in power in the next election. There are no ifs and buts about it. In my own assessment, people must reject all the major parties like Congress, BJP, Left, JDU as well as the regional parties which are completely dynastic in nature. People need to reinvent the wheel and must support good individuals or enter into new political alignments/forums on the matters of national importance. However, the future shape of things will depend on how the situation unfolds before the next election. It would be too early to make any commitment of support to any political grouping at this moment. Let us wait and watch. But I can venture to say that there will be a clear no to both the main parties i.e. Congress and BJP from my side. I will definitely vote for some new group or individual. However, some morons do not tire of branding me pro congress day in and day out in pursuit of earning accolades from fellow Jatlanders. Stupidity knows no bounds.

Well, Sonia Gandhi and Congress have full right to rule the country ONLY by being elected by the electorate. Unfortunately, the Congress party has the dubious distinction of saving its seat in power on two occasions by using money money power to purchase MPs.
Our corrupt politicians' (especially ruling class) wealth has grown multi-fold over the past few years and decades and this is when Rahul Baba has quoted his farmhouse in Delhi to be worth only a meagre Rs. 9 Lakhs. I am sure you would be willing to give him many more times to have that farmhouse which is located in a prime location in Delhi. As mentioned in my previous reply, I would prefer to believe the whistle blower rather than the corrupt politicians. These whistle blowers do not have the entire govt. machinery behind or with them to support their claims unlike the politicians.
Being in the public domain, and that too at the helm of the affairs of the country, the first family is and should be open to public scrutiny, after all Rahul Baba is without any valid reason or achievement being projected as a future PM. Moreover, BJP, Left and JDU are not dynastic parties UNLIKE Congress. As I said earlier, the choice has to be for the lesser evil option available.
Though, I am against Congress for it being Communal (Muslim appeasement), Corrupt and Criminal, I donot champion the cause of any other party. However, I would cite BJP as a lesser evil (though it has itself been mired in corruption during its hey days), I admire its stand on - Abolition of Art. 370, Uniform Civil Code, anti-dynastic rule, etc. Hence, our support to any party or candidate needs to be issue based.

If the Congress is successful with its COMMUNAL AGENDA through its policies of Muslim appeasement and a slew of Pro Muslim (Anti-Hindu) legislative bills (waiting to be passed into Acts in the parliament), then God save us and our country.
If these Bills are passed:
1. You will be forced to give your house on rent to a Muslim if he demands. If you so NO, you are a criminal.
2. You will be forced to give a Job to a Muslim in your office/Organisation if he applies (whether suitable or not). If you do not, you have committed a crime.
3. Communal Violence started by Hindus will be treated under a special category to be dealt with a VERY HEAVY HAND. On the other hand it would be presumed that Muslims would never initiate communal violence - so anything perpetrated by them would be treated as a normal law & order problem.
4. Rape of a Muslim woman will be treated as a special case whereas the same crime against a Hindu woman would be treated under the existing almost ineffective laws. So, a woman's dignity would be judged on the basis of religion she follows.
5. Article 356 will be now misused against any state govt. which takes any steps for the upliftment and welfare of the Hindus (as it will be seen as a Communal action).
The Congress is hell bent on dividing our country. They are experts in playing identity politics by segregating muslims from Hindus, SC/ST from Hindus. Do we actually need this classification system of MINORITY and MAJORITY? Are we all not Indians having the same rights and duties? Then why does Aligarh Muslim University or Minorities Commission need to only have a Muslim VC/Chairman? Why is the Punjab & Sindh Bank without a Chairman for 2 years in the absence of a suitably experienced Sikh candidate?
For God's sake and the nation's sake, We need to VOTE out this Poisonous weed called Congress which we have allowed to flourish for almost 60 years. Congress needs to be wiped out completely - from the national, state, municipal, village scene by not casting even a single vote in its favour at any level. Choose the lesser evil.

5. Article 356 will be now misused against any state govt. which takes any steps for the upliftment and welfare of the Hindus (as it will be seen as a Communal action).
The Congress is hell bent on dividing our country. They are experts in playing identity politics by segregating muslims from Hindus, SC/ST from Hindus. Do we actually need this classification system of MINORITY and MAJORITY? Are we all not Indians having the same rights and duties? Then why does Aligarh Muslim University or Minorities Commission need to only have a Muslim VC/Chairman? Why is the Punjab & Sindh Bank without a Chairman for 2 years in the absence of a suitably experienced Sikh candidate?
For God's sake and the nation's sake, We need to VOTE out this Poisonous weed called Congress which we have allowed to flourish for almost 60 years. Congress needs to be wiped out completely - from the national, state, municipal, village scene by not casting even a single vote in its favour at any level. Choose the lesser evil.

भारतीयों को विदेशियों ने ईतने साल इस्सी लिए गुलाम बणाया की भारतीयों में असली देशभक्ति नहीं हे और ना थी | यहाँ पर हमेशा पीठ में छुरा भोंकने वाले ही राज चलाते/चलवाते आ रहे हैं | भारत पर शाषन चाहे किसी ने किया हो पर परदे के पीछे छोटे-छोटे स्वार्थों के वशीभूत हो कर हमेशा भामन्न और बानिये ही राज करते रहे हैं | ये किसी के नहीं होते | भामन को जहां दो टूक मिल जाएँ वो उसका ,बानिये को जहां दो पेसे का फायदा हो वो उसका | इन् का कोई देश धर्म नहीं होता |ये कोमें जमीन से जुडी नहीं होती | यानी ये उस खर-पतवार के जेसी होती हैं जो पानी के साथ बह कर कहीं भी चली जाती हैं और वहां की स्थानीय वनस्पति को नष्ट कर देती हैं |
