I want to purchase Royal Enfield, Any body can suggest me proper model as milage, service and best price, but i want to 2nd hand,,,
If any it have, pls help me...

Bhai Ek Baat Hai -agar Royal Banna Hai to Royal Enfield Le Le par apna hisab dekh liye ..Kyu ak maine be le Rakhi .Pehle PEhle To roj 100- 150 Km Chal ja thi par dhire dhire 20 -25 km roj pe aa liya .Milege degi 30-40 k bich mein depend on engine & care .
Par dusri baat ya hai ak ek ad aa kare tha TV pe ak Jab Bullet chale to duniya rasta de ..wo sahi hai jib ja dhak dhak kar k chale gali me ya bazar mein ya highway pe to log sach mein dekhe .ar sabse badi baat jo mujhe pasand hai wo hai stability on high speed even .choti bike barabar mein truch ez se nikal ja to puri hil ja par Mahari to ekdam stable .
acha agar leni hai to standard lena kyunki milage aur engine accha hai..
Machismo ka engine jyada dumdar hai but wilege proportionally kam hai..

I guess I can help you out but mine isn't for sale. Have found it after a hell of time investment.Anybody wont contact you since you need it Anil. Chandigarh is the hub for REs. There is second hand sale of Royal Enfields in sector 43 Bike Market every week. 30-40k is the usual range but I would suggest to you take a mechanic with you else you would be fooled easily. A mechanic can easily understand the quality. Go for Enfield 350 Standard with year ranging from 2000-2006. Its a life style bike basicaly thaty not that common.

40 saal purani bullet utha, get the engine reconditioned , customise the paint , go for a ride from jaipur to delhi (karol bagh) get ur customised seats , choose the right bars for u, choose other accesories nd stuff make ur own bike bro...wont cost u more than 20 thousand but will look better than anything on the road. get mufflers , old ones sound pretty good anyways but u can always improve.i had bullet since i was in school. i dont know how many times i have changed the same parts..

customizing is the key. its ta man who makes a bullet look like a bullet

I have had Yamaha's all my life. My last one was a V-Star Classic 1100. But, ab mann sa bhar gaya. I want to have something that has my blood running in its veins.

I am exploring the field of project bikes. I am starting work on a prototype. I will be installing a 12 HP lawnmower motor and a 5-shift gearbox on a bicycle to get an idea of how the whole thing works.

I will be posting the pictures here soon.

I want to eventually graduate to assembling my own Hog!

I have had Yamaha's all my life. My last one was a V-Star Classic 1100. But, ab mann sa bhar gaya. I want to have something that has my blood running in its veins.

I am exploring the field of project bikes. I am starting work on a prototype. I will be installing a 12 HP lawnmower motor and a 5-shift gearbox on a bicycle to get an idea of how the whole thing works.

I will be posting the pictures here soon.

I want to eventually graduate to assembling my own Hog!

I already see you surpassing the Indian bike market - splendor etc in terms of power and gears - it might not be street legal in India .... don't be so power hungry ... go with 1 hp (same as splendor, bajaj, kinetic etc.) ... use the waste disposal motor in your sink. ..
Good project though - I would want to exchange notes with you once you are done.

LOL! I used to have a RX100. I am not sure but I think it was 10 HP.

I am using a standard Honda Lawnmower motor that I found in someones Garage. For the gearbox, I am still looking on Ebay for a Husqvarna Backyard Tractor disposal unit.

I will be putting some pictures on this thread over the next few days.

le bhai teri yaa eechaa bhi puree kar dyun. I saw thee boss hoss' in North Carolina a few years ago. The motors are from Dodge The red one has a Chevy Corvette motor on it. The red one has a Dodge viper motor on it. The spedometer was from a Harley and said the max speed was a 120 MPH/192 kmph. But he claimed that with a nitro push he has touched a 270 MPH/432 kmph are in Salt Lake, Utah. He told me that he wont do anything faster than that because then his scalp would peel off. LOL!

I know quite a few people who ride project bikes. You can buy all the parts online. Refurbished motors can be sourced cheaply from Harley dealers. Only problem comes is when you try to register your bike. I don't know about all states but in Florida they went by the 51% rules. That means they will register it as a Harley custom is you have atleast 51% harley parts. That at the minimum includes the motor and the gearbox.

I dont have money now as I am broke, but I would definitely be working on this stuff in the future.

As for cars, I am happy with my Honda Accord. takes me from point A to Point B and is low on maintenance. But, if I had money someday I would love to have an SUV.

I went hiking to Yosemite last weekend and took a friends Ford Explorer. I rolled down the back seats and made my bed in the back and slept in it over night. Trust me SUVs do have some utility if you are an outdoorsman. Plus I like the extra horspower. I feel comfortable with the thought that the motor is not going to explode on me as I go uphill in a lower gear. LOL!
