I am sure you are all aware of the issue, and to no surprise this has not yet been brought up here as it would upset the followers but let me take the heat and start this topic too see how followers justify this stalking govt machinery.

Narendra Modi aide Amit Shah accused of illegal snooping of woman for 'saheb'

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's close aide and former minister of state for home Amit Shah was on Friday accused of misusing his powers and police machinery for illegal surveillance of a young woman in 2009.

The allegations were made at a press conference here along with release of over half-an-hour of tapped telephonic conversations, purportedly between Shah and Gujarat IPS officer G L Singhal, which two investigative portals Cobrapost and Gulail claimed have been submitted before CBI in the Ishrat Jahan murder case.


Now what is interesting is neither Cobrapost, nor Gulail.com published the name or any hint about who the girl is and yet BJP could product fathers testimony in their HQ... smell the beans
 
Frankly speaking these things almost same as the rape charges on Rahul Gandhi and u can see the people giving date time and name of gal ..... these things are publicized just to defame or getting political mileage ........ if congress has no problems on the snopping of NIA on all Indian leaders which includes many female leaders also then whay are they shouting so loud on this ???? hope you know what snowden said
 
There is a difference, BJP has not denied any of the charges and here state machinery is used to stalk one girl. And not just police but special cells and ATS- now you may go and justify it weirdly truth is it will be defending the undefendable. Rahul's allegation was personal, denied by court but here state has accepted their wrong doing and gave weird justification.

I am not defending any one if its wrong then let law take its course but this moral absurdness is wrong .... as Jaspreet said in another thread its difficult to find an unbiased Journalism these days , again if snopping is such a big crime then why our govt dint opposed the NIA snooping ???? The have double standards , this is my problem
 
No its not not a jusification but that snooping might have damage the national image and compromised national security ..... and yes MI5 , MI6 and CIA , NIA all do this dirty work od personal snooping its a part of their job ... 2002 and 1984 is your idea analogy is quite diff here
 
Yes they do and that is the difference here, would you put ATS to stalk a normal girl at the request of her father(as claimed)?

Is this done for all women in Gujarat?

Was she a national threat?

i know what you trying to highlight in this incident and i cant deny the fact may be her father knows her link or some thing about her ... same incident happened with Diwan Chand Mallik when his wife informed the authorities ..... before that he was also a simple person :)

How could the logic be same? 2002 is more tragic because to count of muslims dies was more? And in any other roits happened till date to count was less, is this the logic for highlighting 2002 everytime? What your take on Congress's stand on mujjfarnagar roits?

Ashish Khetan seems biased or politically motivated.. never seen any findings of him pointing fingers on congress... any reasons???

Its complete hue & cry by Congress to malign the reputation of Narender Modi. Its seems to be true that Congress does not have any major guard against modi and taking up such frival issues, . Though i was neither a Modi supporter or Congress but after this episode, have some place for MODI.

what happened when the phone tape of Arun Jaitely was being done,any noise or some such kind of big issue ..No nothing.

Who is the stake holder in this episode the girl and their, family but they don’t have any complaint about all this snooping, even earlier as per congress it was stalking thanks god now its converted into snooping.

Yesterday the Girl and her father has wrote to NCW, that what’ ever was happening, they were having full knowledge of the same, and even their own consent, then where is the question of snooping. The father has rejected the need to investigation and The father also accuses vested interests in the media of raking up the issue and urges the NCW to ensure that the matter is not discussed any further in the media.
 
if the media wants to after "saheb" in the calls, they should also do the same
in a much bigger case of national importance - the Radia tapes. if you listen to
the tapes, you will be astonished to know that the then NSA M K Narayanan was
used as a messenger to liason with DMK and stuff like that. The media, govt.
officials and PR agencies were a part of the lobbying and govt. forming of UPA.
This is completely ignored and this cobrapost or earthworm post "sting
operation" makes up for the headlines.
