It is really pleasure reading your posts in whatever section they may be.

And this topic is one of the most needed topic here/everywhere! sharing knowledge about Veds, Sanskrit and Swami Mahrishi Dyanand Ji.

This is the only way the Indian culture can be revived and can bring us back on the top of the world, In fact I believe that more and more knowledge about all the three teach us the best possible way available for living life as a human being.

भारतीय संस्कृति को अक्षुण रखने व पोषित पल्लवित करने में हरियाणा राज्य सदैव अग्रणी रहा है । परन्तु विडंबना यह है कि आज की आधुनिकता की अंधी दौड़ में हरियाणा सरकार भारतीय संस्कृति की उपेक्षा ही नहीं बल्कि जड़ से समाप्त करने का प्रयास कर रही है । यह बात स्थानीय गुरुकुल संचालक आचार्य विजयपाल योगार्थी ने गुरुकुल में आयोजित किए गए क्रीड़ा प्रतियोगिता के विजेता छात्रों के प्रोत्साहन समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए कही । उन्होंने कहा कि संस्कृत भाषा हिन्दुओं की धार्मिक भावनाओं से जुड़ी हुई है और अधिकतर भारतीय अध्यात्मिक ग्रंथ, वेद, वेदांग, दर्शन, उपनिषद् आदि संस्कृत भाषा में ही है । आयुर्वेद के सभी ग्रंथ भी संस्कृत भाषा में ही है । उन्होंने कहा कि वेदों में संस्कृत भाषा को सभी भाषाओं की जननी कहा गया है तथा हरियाणा सरकार संस्कृत भाषा को समाप्त कर वेदों की वाणी पर कुठाराघात करने में लगी है । सरकार ने अपने एक फैसले में बोर्ड द्वारा संस्कृत की परीक्षा समाप्त कर दी है जिससे संस्कृत भाषा में छात्रों की रुचि समाप्त हो जाएगी तथा दूसरे फैसले में संस्कृत अध्यापकों की नियुक्ति हेतु शास्त्री की अनिवार्यता समाप्त कर दी है । अब इस पद पर संस्कृत विषय सहित बी.ए, बी.एड भी लग सकेंगे । जिससे गुरुकुलों व संस्कृत महाविद्यालयों से शिक्षा प्राप्त शास्त्री बेरोजगार हो जाएंगे । जबकि शास्त्री की तुलना में संस्कृत विषय सहित बी.ए की योग्यता बहुत ही न्यून होती है । क्योंकि शास्त्री में संस्कृत के चार प्रश्न-पत्र पढाएं जाते है जबकि बी.ए में नाममात्र का एक प्रश्नपत्र पढ़ाया जाता है । छात्र अपनी सुविधा के अनुसार शास्त्री की अपेक्षा बी.ए करना ही उचित समझेंगे । जिससे हरियाणा राज्य के गुरुकुलों व संस्कृत पाठशालाओं का अस्तित्व समाप्त हो जाएगा । उन्होंने कहा कि महर्षि दयानंद के अनुयायियों ने देश तथा हरियाणा के लिए अतीत में अनेकों बलिदान दिए है तथा हरियाणा राज्य के निर्माण में गुरुकुलों तथा आर्य समाज तथा सर्व स्वामी ओमानंद सरस्वती का जो योगदान रहा है उसे हरियाणा की जनता कभी भुला नहीं सकती । परन्तु आज हरियाणा सरकार प्राचीन भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रतीक गुरुकुलों को अलग-थलग करने में लगी हुई है । उन्होंने कहा कि कोई भी संस्कृत प्रेमी हरियाणा सरकार के इस प्रकार के निर्णयों को स्वीकार नहीं करेगा । यदि सरकार ने इन फैसलों को वापिस नहीं लिया तथा संस्कृत भाषा का दमन जारी रखा तो पूरा हरियाणा आंदोलित हो उठेगा । उन्होंने कहा कि इस विषय पर विचार करने के लिए 11 नवम्बर को दयानंद मठ गोहाना रोड़ रोहतक में आचार्य बलदेव अध्यक्ष आर्य प्रतिनिधि सभा हरियाणा की अध्यक्षता में बैठक का आयोजन किया जाएगा जिसमें हरियाणा के सभी गुरुकुलों, संस्कृत पाठशालाओं, संस्कृत कालेजों तथा हरियाणा के सभी संस्कृत भाषा व भारतीय संस्कृत प्रेमी भाग लेंगे ।

i was really enlightened to read ur thread on sanskrit . .

further ,,

i have started to read sanskrit in dev shalokas and other possible material , it becomes really impossible to read them at times....

my only request to you is that can a agyaaani like me ... who syudies sanskrit till 6th std. in school be more aware and is there a pathyakaram or can i get guidence from u to learn the great laungage ...

a practical technique = sandhi vichhed kartey challlo .. ar boltey challo ... plz guid me how correct is this way ..

lastly I wish to carry forward the principals of ARYA SAMAJ ... i am so very much moved by its principals in recent times that i seee a single ray of hope for concuering the impossible

Sanskrit language on jatland

While going through these chapters you will find blue links in these. These are having connections with entries about Jats on Jatland Wiki. This shows that many Jat clans have been mentioned in Mahabharata and Ramayana. This also proves that Jats were the ancient rulers of these areas.

That is why jats were debarred from reading Sanskrit during Medieval periods.

But beyond this sado maschoism we also need to analyse what was the reason we could be manipulated and destroyed. Only the weak are destroyed, people who fitter away their energies in non productive enerprises are bound to be enslaved. Don't blame others and look within for the seeds of your own destruction.

This is a bit off-topic. Western civilisation has its own traits but Indian civilisation is more ancient and contains more human values. Secondly, Sanskrit is not the ancestral property of so-called 'Brahmins' - they neither have nor had any copyright over this language.

Being ancient means nothing just like age has nothing to do with intelligence. Our culture if it was superior would not be a slave for 800 years under the Muslims and 200 years under the British. Le us not bask in reflected glory which does not even exist.

I remember my dad gave 400 bigas of irrigated land with a massive house and others things which would be worth at least 4 to 5 crores to his cha-cha tau's sons. They blew up the entire money and sold off everything. In my dads old age children of these bastards instituted false cases against him the tragedy which he could not bear and died of an heart attack. Let us face who we are. This is the reason why we are where we are as a community. A few bright guys do not change the equations. Most of the Jats live in poverty and ignorance.

Western civilization is based on deductive reasoning in which mind is base on matter it is a linear thinking which leads from one stage of material development to the higher stage all philosophy literature religion is based on this premise. The Indian thought is based on inductive thinking the basis of which is mind over matter, it is a nonlinear view in which what you take you give back to nature, as a theory it is fantastic but just how we guys live in our environment. Intellectual abstraction is good but practicality is better. How many have the mind to control matter?

Both views are based on monological thinking in which one element is the base of the other but in real life a dialogical view like that of Baudelaire is better in which the interactions between the two leads to synthesis. It can be explained as having a "material outlook with a spiritual centre". In this view each situation is judged on its merit without preconceived notions. The thinking is dynamic and fluid rather than compartmental. Most people live their lives in compartments’ and loose the essence of life which is movement and growth.

Conscience is a wound and only truth can heal it.

Bahut badhiya deshwal ji... bahut lamba article tha par padhne mein majja aane laga aur poora padh gaya... really gud stuff... par article ki taarif karne se kuch nahi hone wala...

kaise bachaya jaaye sanskrit ko ... kuch ispar bhi prakaaash daliye...
kaise sanskrit ka patent kiya jaaye...
kaise convent schoolon mein dhoti kurta aur sanskrit shuru ki jaaye...
haan kuch jagah bahut hadh tak hum log kar sakte hai jaise ghar mein apni bhasha bolna... naa ki IAS banane ke liye english...

kuch gyaan baatiye kaise saskrit aur hindi ko upar uthaya jaa sakta hai???

Thanks, Devender for concerns. To save the language, some effort at government level is necessary. There is no need to introduce 'dhoti-kurta' in schools. I have never worn dhoti-kurta. Private institutions are doing efforts but there seems nothing at govt. level. See the following news item which appeared today only in "The Tribune" about Haryana Government's high-handedness which will only harm the Sanskrit language.

Keep politics out of gurukuls, says Hooda

The Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has urged institutions like gurukuls to stay away from politics as politicians had been using these sacred institutions for their vested interests.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a sammelan organised by the GurukulCollege in Jhajjar to protect ‘sanskriti and Sanskrit’ (culture and Sanskrit language) today.

Without making any direct reference, he virtually pulled up the gurukuls for playing in the hands of politicians. “Their involvement in the politics of vote had led to deterioration in the quality of education. The institutions and scholars need to work unitedly to save the ancient culture and Sanskrit language,” Hooda stated.

The Chief Minister announced that the state government would formulate a uniform policy to provide financial assistance to institutes like gurukul. Praising the contribution of gurukuls as well as Arya Samaj movement in spreading education, especially women education, and making society aware, he promised to give due recognition to Sanskrit language and encourage the language.

“Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages of the world and many Vedas have been written in this language. This language is the treasure trove of our ancient cultural legacy”, he said and added that he had a high regard for the gurukul system of education which inculcated a sense of hard discipline and sacrifice during the student life.

He stated that the government had sincerely made efforts and Bagat Phool Singh Gurukul, Khanpur Kalan in Sonepat had been made the first ever women university of the country. The Chief Minister dismissed the apprehensions of the Sanskrit scholars that the language would not be discriminated against at any level. The Chief Minister also conceded many demands of the gurukul college and donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh.

The education minister Mange Ram Gupta also assured the gathering that there was no proposal to lower the importance of the Sanskrit language in any way.
