The years of nostalgia finally caught up with our Santa, who called Miami his home. So he headed eastward to his “gaanv” in Ludhiana. Life, however, wasn’t easy! He missed the amenities of the affluent western world…. neatly manicured, green lush yard, his air-conditioned office suite, hot and cold water…yada yada yada! However, the thing he missed most was his bathtub and the readily available hot and cold water. So he hatched a plan to cure his (western) nostalgia. He consulted a local builder and asked him to construct 3 swimming pools side by side. The builder was flabbergasted…he scartched his head....and asked, “Sardarji why 3 pools?” Sharp as a knife, quipped our Santa, “one for the hot water in the winter; one for a cool dip in the hot summer….” The builder still astonished, couldn’t wait for the suspense anymore, so he said “and Sardarji the third one for? “Bhai kabhi kabhi nahaan nu mun ni karda…!” prompt came the answer!
