pata chalega ki human right commission yaa home ministry ne aayog gathi kiya hai: jo "terrorist" maare gaye hain wo terrorist nahi they.. innocent citizen they!!!
lack of concrete evidence.. guilty will be free again!!

And ofcourse, Great Indian Secularism should be defended at any cost by protecting those innocent and humiliated citizens.

Guys go thro' this interesting yet eye-opening reading which tries to expalin the links between Muhammad, Islam and Terrorism. As I stated in other thread that problem is not with innocent common muslim but problem is with their Dark & Fanatic Religion Islam!! .. This is what I always wanted to prove that not all of Muslims are fanatic & Terrorists some of them are very much moderate & simple ppl like us.

But its a bitter truth whenever sucha inhuman activities take place like bomb blasts & communal riots only the innocent common men become victims !! :(

Anyways, Go thro this link: http://www.muhammadanism.org/muhammad/muhammad_terrorism.htm

Rock on
Jit

No Islam, No terror !!!

Know Islam, Know terror !!!

No Humans, No Murder, Rape, Wars, Killing of innocents, Pollution, blah..blah..

Brahm bhai, your quote was interesting..full points for that :) but its not practical and can't & won't happen unless a fight starts in heaven between Allah and Hindu gods or Christian gods.

Isn't it an irony, that all the religious people believe in god for good, none of them have seen god and all believe in one final power whether its muslims, christians, hindus, buddhists, taoists...still they want to fight over whose interpretation of god is best. And mind you, removing one religion would not solve the issue, 50 years down the line a new one would be created and over a period of time some followers would interpret as per their own understanding and masses would follow without thinking.

Human nature is such that they will always create group and fight with others to prove their own supremacy. It happens within each religion, Sunni/Shiya fight among themselves in Islam, Protestants/Catholics within Christianity and 100s of casts in Hinduism..You say that muslims are the only ones who kill innocent people with bombs..21 people killed in Delhi blasts, elsewhere more than 25 so called christian people (poor people who just embraced it for food, shelter) were killed without any terrorist attacks. US has probably killed more civilians in Iraq than Saddam Hussain killed within his life span. World War 1 & 2 where crores of people died didn't happen because of muslims. In Germany lakhs of jews died due to 1 person, Britain killed so many people in multiple countries during its Raj time (and as you know they are christians). So called peaceful europeans, killed Red Indians when they found USA, Spaniards attacked lot of countries in their hay time as did Romans. Even Satyuga was not spared when our so called gods were on earth, rather gods of every religion today were humiliated in their own time.

How many more examples do you need to understand that its not religion that kills, its people with useless mind who just need some way of creating their followers and use it to proclaim their supremacy. Ye hota aya hai aur hota rahega in one form or the other.

prashant, i know a lot of things r not practical, nd so holds true to my idea of having pak-2... 3... 4 wch obviously has no practical relevance, instead it reverberated my frustration nd anger. i reiterate my views nd stance nd wud like u to go back to my posts # 52, 53 & 54... it really makes me feel sick when i see these muslims, who cant owe their allegiance to a country who has given them so much (... compare them to their pakistani counterparts who left for pakistan in 1947). anything more frm my side wud be beating arnd the bush. i rqst u to go thru sunil kadian's views on the following thread:
http://www.jatland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25433

also go thru the following thread wat col thavetia has to say in the title post.
http://www.jatland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25458

taking the viewpoint of sunil a bit further on this thread nd concurring to col thavetia's views on muslim appeasement nd a demand for common constitution, i wud like to bring yr. attn. once agn to kashmir where india is now considered a foreign nation. the indian army has to listen to insulting slogans like "indian dogs, go back" nd numerous instances of our
"tricolor being burnt to ashes" the suspected leaders like mufti syed, dr. farooq, omar, syed ali shah geelani, sajjad lone, mirwaiz etc etc keep on shedding crocodile tears over the "dreadful situation in kashmir" when in the initial stages they too had favored islamisation nd even today support the demand for separate political existence of the valley. wat ppl in Jammu r stating thro their protests is not merely a demand for tht piece of 40 acre land within our own country instead they r also saying tht "enough is enough... this ought to stop". the current surge of the protests is no less than a hindu intifada. so i rqst u as well as fellow members to arise, awake, nd say a big "NO" to the roots of religious fanaticism wch r being nourished both by India, thru muslim appeasement, nd pakistan, by harboring terrorists (... well for tht matter they too r now the victim of their backlash).
quote posted earlier here is deleted cos of very strong and abusive language being used for illustrating degradation of women and islamic fundamentalism.
thts wat i have to say... furthermore, i can say with 100% conviction tht after reading those previous posts of mine nd above threads u too also wud like to stand by my views to a certain extent in yr heart of hearts... if sucha feeling has started creeping in u then cum out of this shell of mr. good on JATland nd support for the cause wch happens to b yr. existence nd roots for the future generation to know. dont let this land of yr. fore-fathers bcum a foreign land for u as well as for the generation next. as reiterated previously i rpt tht m no fanatic, but u must agree tht "something, somewhere is terribly wrong with this religion of peace"... hence this furore thruout the world.

dont consider sulman rushdie to b an idiot... if i go on telling more abt this "religion of peace" (all green (the color of terror) as written abv) then my abv. quote might hold true for u... "know Islam, know terror"... so i stop here... nd pray to almighty tht gud sense prevail over u nd yr. fellow supporters (mr. good on JATland) seconding nd concurring yr thots.

Though lot of discussions have already happened on muslims here, just wanted to share my remaining thoughts..

Brahm - My point in this thread has only been to disapprove the talks of all muslims being bad, all muslims should be shunted out and that their religion is religion of terror only, their teachings bad and all that thing. We need to understand that its some people who make a religion bad by their misrepresentations of the actual teachings. Its as much there in Hinduism as in Islam. Don't we keep on harping about the bads done by brahmins? Untouchability, Sati, Lower castes, Upper castes - all these were/are germs of our hindu religion. Even though a lot of us educated people don't like all these, there are innumerable priests, fanatics in hindu religion too who still follow and want other people to follow these principles. Why to go very far, even our forefathers used to do this in villages. I am not trying to cover Islamic fanaticism by covering bad parts of Hinduism. Just trying to tell that you will find every kind of people in every religion so don't blame a whole religion and people following it (not by choice but by birth).

I am equally disgruntled with the appeasement policy of our politicians whether its muslims, dalits, christians or even hindus. Its was really shocking to hear 'We are pakistanis' from Syed Ali Shah Gilani who is sitting, eating in India and our government not doing anything to control and kill that sicko. This shows our government is totally meek and don't have any guts to teach people like these a lesson. Arjun singh backs Jamia Univ stand to provide legal aid to terrorists, Imam of Delhi Jama Masjid declaring that Indian police is unlawfully targeting only muslims for terror attacks - all this shows the lowest levels, our leaders have stooped to. They don't take actions against people praising pakistan, spreading hatred openely and showing contempt to own country. I have never supported these kind of acts and would neither do in future. Thats why I had mentioned in one of my earlier post, that we need strong leaders who are equal towards all religions, have guts to oppose divisive fundamentalists and aim to improve life of common man and our country. Otherwise there will be a lot of Gilani's, Bukhari's, Raj Thackrey's, Arjun Singh's who will keep trying to break the country in pieces for their own good.

I know its not easy to get those good leaders, but keeping my fingers crossed. I myself want to go into active politics by seeing all this anarchy but have lot of other responsibilities currently. Would definitely give it my best shot one day though..please pray that day comes soon :)

Another round of blasts in Delhi - nothing new for the politicians

Another round of bomb blasts in Delhi. Well, nothing new for the politicians - they are safe and sound with their z and z+ security. Who is to blame? The police, the intelligence agencies or the politicians in the seat of power?

The periodicity with which such dastardly incidents are happening just under the noses of the political masters of the country is puzzling enough. How many shake-ups does any government need to wake up?

In the last round of attacks on Delhi, the political masters blamed the intelligence agencies for not having coordinated amongst themselves in their efforts on intelligence gathering and sharing. This might be one side of the story. But what about the political will?? What happens when the militants are brought to book by the intelligence agencies and the police? What happens when the Courts find them guilty and sentence them to death? What happens next? The government postpones the execution because it refers the case to the President of India who in turn holds the decision in abeyance.

So, the question that comes to mind is, what good does it do for heroes like Inspector Sharma to capture terrorists when even after their conviction justice is not metted out. Would it not be demotivating for the intelligence agencies and police who most of the times despite life threating situations are able to deliver, but the Goondas (politicians) let the culprits go off the hook. The intelligence and police officers, though behind the curtains, complain of their hands being tied behind their backs as everytime they have to raid a muslim area or arrest muslims they have to take permission from the government BECAUSE IT IS A LAW AND ORDER ISSUE (Mockery of democracy - religious overtones - muslim appeasement). And the icing on the cake is taken by the fact that in most of the cases, the government asks the agencies to go slow in chasing the criminals/terrorists who belong to a particular faith.

We have the Union HRD Minister of the country meeting the VC of Jamia, thereby giving a clean chit to the culprits arrested in the incident which took away the life of braveheart, Insp. Sharma. How and why should any Insp. Sharma in future even think of endangering his life for the country, the political masters of which are bent upon selling it to the traders of terrorism? Just last evening, while keeping silent on Afzal Guru, the Congress Spokesperson, Veerapa Moily demanded the hanging of Narendra Modi. If this is not a complete sellout of the nation and double standards, then what is it???

And still we want to go with the Congress party which is harping on development - the very development that leads to innumerable children dying of malnutrition in M.P.

The manual of Indian secularism - I

How Hindus have become second class citizens in their own land

In India, Christians and Muslims enjoy extra privileges in the name of ‘minority protection’ and ‘Secularism’. A consequence of this ill-advised step is a distortion of language that has made honest debate all but impossible. The term ‘Secularism’, which means separation of religion and government, has become a tool of discrimination against the Hindus. (Articles 29 and 30 protect linguistic minorities also, but that does not alter the fact that Hindus are discriminated against.) The Indian Constitution draws some of its ideas from the American Constitution but ignores important lessons of history. In framing the Constitution, the founding fathers of the American Republic showed that they had learnt from Europe’s history of religious conflict by excluding the influence of religion on the affairs of the State by adopting the First Amendment. And this is what secularism really means. But the framers of the Indian Constitution failed to draw the same lesson and gave special privileges to the predatory religions of Christianity and Islam, which have been tools of imperialism. These special privileges, which sometimes lead to extra-constitutional demands, are being sheltered in the name of ‘Secularism’. This poses grave threat to the integrity of the Indian Republic. It also makes honest debate all but impossible.

The fact there that have not so far been major religious conflicts in India — other than the Jihad in Kashmir — is due to two reasons: (1) the tolerance of the Hindu community and the readiness of its leaders to compromise and even appease; (2) general ignorance on the part of the Hindus of the discriminatory nature of the Constitution and even the legal system.
To take a concrete example, there are massive subsidies for Haj pilgrims, but little help for Kashmiri Hindu refugees in Delhi. The Gujral Government even provided compensation for the victims of a fire in Mecca, but there was no such help for Kashmiri refugees in India. But with rising levels of education and national awareness, neither unlimited tolerance nor continued ignorance on the part of the Hindus can be taken for granted. The Indian Constitution must be revised to remove this poison seed before its insidious effects reach unmanageable proportions.

Here are a few manifestations of hypocritical secularism :

· When President George Bush inaugurated America's National Church, he was not called communal; but when President Dr. Rajendra Prasad inaugurated the renovated Somnath Temple, he was dubbed communal.
· President Ronald Reagan proclaimed year 1983 as the year of the Bible but, if Indian leaders were to declare a year of the Gita, it will surely be termed communal.
· The British monarch is considered a guardian of Christianity even though people of diverse faiths live in that country. The same holds good in Europe and America too vis-a-vis the heads of state and the state religion. but if the Indian President were to describe himself as a guardian of Hinduism, he will surely be branded as communal.
· Shrimad Bhagwad Gita is denied entry into Arab States; but questioning this policy will be deemed communal.
· The Indian Army has built several mosques in Jammu & Kashmir; but if Hindus were to request to build a temple, that would be termed communal.
· Detailing India's glorious heritage is considered communal.
· Muslim madrasas, where Hindus are described as kafirs and the students are taught to hate them, are on the increase. This has resulted in communalism gathering momentum and the prospect of a bloody civil war ending in the break-up of India is looming larger. But any talk of reining in such madrasas is considered autocratic and communal.

The Hindus have the following question for the secularists?

· In India 85% of the population is Hindu. If Hindus are intolerant, how come Masjids and Madrasas are thriving? How come Muslims are offering Namaz on the road? How come Muslims are proclaiming five times a day on loudspeakers that there is no God except Allah?
· When Hindus gave away 30% of Bharat to the Muslims for a song, why do they have to beg now for their three sacred places out of thirty thousand destroyed by the Muslims?
· When the Constitution of India advocates equal rights to all the citizens, then why do we have different laws for people of different religious faiths? Why can't we have a Uniform Civil Code?
· When Haj pilgrims are given subsidy, why Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai and Kailash Mansarover are taxed?
· Why are the temple revenues diverted to fund Haj subsidy and the welfare activities of Muslims and Christians?
· Why is post-Godhra blown out of proportion, when no one talks of the ethnic cleansing of four lakh Hindus from Kashmir?
· If Muslims & Christians are minorities in Maharashtra, UP, Bihar, etc. are Hindus not minorities in J&K, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, etc.? Why are Hindus denied minority rights in these states? In what way is J&K different from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu or Uttar Pradesh to have Article 370?
· Is there one Mullah or Maulvi who has declared a 'fatwa' against terrorists?
· Why did Gandhiji object to the decision of the cabinet and insist that the Somnath Temple should be reconstructed out of public funds, not government funds, when in January 1948 he pressurised Nehru and Patel to carry on renovation of the mosques of Delhi at government expenses?
· When Christian and Muslim schools can teach Bible and Quran, why Hindus cannot teach Gita or Ramayan?
· The percentage of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh after partition in 1947 was 17 and 25 respectively. Today their percentage is almost nil in Pakistan and 10.5 in Bangladesh. What happened to the missing Hindus? Do Hindus have human rights?

Thought provoking questions raised

Dear Brahmji,

Very valid and thought provoking questions raised by you. And, at the same time, I am sure there would not be a single answer available to any of these questions with the pseudo-secularists thriving in this country.

Is it the investigating agencies' fault that most of the people committing terrorist acts belong to the Muslim community? The media, the pseudo-intellectuals and the muslim community are crying hoarse over the question - why do muslim names keep cropping up every now and then in relation to these acts.

As mentioned by me in one of the earlier threads, even I have felt being wronged by the government in more ways and instances than one. Should I take up the gun against the country and its people for that? Should I kill innocent citizens for that? This may be true for any and every one of us. Justifying terrorism, their acts and their sympathisers (which includes a major chunk of their community) is the most irrational or stupid thing to be done by anyone. That is exactly what the media is doing at the moment which clearly proves the saying - 'IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM'.

There are somethings which need to be dealt with an iron hand even though it is bound to involve some collateral damage which might include efforts like racial profiling undertaken in many western countries like the US. One has to pay some price for the larger good of the larger lot, for the good of the country even if it involves some inconvenience to some citizens including those belonging to a particular community.

We do have sufficient laws to fight terrorism, though it would certainly not be disadvantageous to have laws like POTA, what we actually need to do is let the intelligence and investigating agencies do their jobs without any or minimal political intervention or media criticism which in effect prevents them in doing so.
