Although I'm not against Jats demand for reservation in OBC but seriously condemn the way of protesting by sitting and blocking the Rail tracks and now after failure of talks with govt, their plans to block Roadways and water.

I wonder if great warrior Jats come down of their dignity and practicing such cheap tricks like Gurjars .. n' btw what the difference remain between Jats and Gurjars now ??

For ages we've been feeding the nation and securing the country by sacrificing our lives, our contribution to country's growth has been huge and commendable but certainly this cheap trick of stopping rails will dilute it to an extent and bring bad name to our community.

Haryana/UP Jats should learn from Jats of Rajasthan how they got the reservation without any single incident of violence or chaos. I request all the protesters to leave this negative way of demand and find a better peaceful way to protest so no fellow citizen of India face any chaos and inconvenience.

After all who suffer from such acts ? Only the common ppl like you and us not those dirty politicians. Politicians don't travel by rails so no inconvenience will be caused to them. If we really want to teach them lesson then instead of spoiling our image & receiving bad wishes by common ppl, we should protest in front of politicians home/office or parliament house and blocking their daily commuting ways.

वैसे भी इस देश में क्या नैतिक है क्या अनैतिक है इसका ध्यान किसी को नहीं है. जब देश की सरकार ही १०-१० करोड़ में सांसद खरीद रही है, देश के मंत्री ही हजारों करोड़ खा रहे हैं तो क्या फर्क पड़ता है की ट्रेन रूकती है या हवाई जहाज? जब ये देश अमरीका के कहे अनुसार चल रहा है तो किसी को कुछ कहने का हक किसी को नहीं है, सब अपनी मनमर्जी करो और मजे करो.

The Govt. of India only listen through this way and no other way. The Jats had been demanding their rights peacefully, but nobody even supported there claim. Now, when they have succeeded to put some pressure on the Government, then the Indian National Lok dal Chief Om Parkash Chautala and other politicians have come to support their claim.

When peaceful means fail, it is natural that people resort to such kind of agitation out of frustration. Govt. must read the writing on the wall. Most of these agitating people are poor farmers and desperately need some sort of relief just like other economically backward communities who are beneficiaries of reservation. Viewed in economic terms, agriculture has become the most backward and unfruitful profession nowadays. The demand is, therefore, fully justified and so is the agitation. The sooner government accepts the demands, the better so that the public utilities are restored to normalcy. This agitation is not going to fizzle out and will reach its logical conclusion.

To add more, read my post again. I never said I'm against the reservation but dislike this way of protest. You tell me who all are being suffered ?? How about blocking MLA/MP's ways, make them house arrest, let them not go anywhere .. try these sort of way and then these bloody parasites will act. the Gurjars. Though I wish all the luck to the folks involved in this agitation, but don't know why it is seeming to me that it will not be so easy for the U.P./Haryana Jats to get the reservation in central government jobs. The government knows very well that if the Jats are met their demand then Rajputs, Brahmins and many others will ask for the same and then the government will have no way to get out of this whole mess.
Gurjars had lost their 70-80 men during their movement. Jats don't deserve this, but if the agitation in this way continues then violent action may be taken against the Jats as Allahabad high court had asked the DGP to do the same. Jats are not to be killed so easily, so I hope that if some strict action is taken against us then we too will reply in same language (though it will not be a good situation). Jats are one of the most powerful forces of India, so to upset them may mean to hurt the unity of the country. To take strict action will be a foolish idea of the concerned administration.
I too don't like to block the railway track or highways to get the demands met. Suppose a son gets a call that his one of the family members is seriously ill back home and if he doesn't reach home at earliest then the member may die. Many other such problems may be in one's home, but one can't go, because railway track/road is blocked. So Jats should think over the other ways of agitation. Gurjars' movement is almost a failure, so if we follow them it will mean we are also heading towards failure.

If apply through reservation and you are in the merit list then you no more remain in reservation category, you will automatically comes in general category.
for the economic ground for reservation there is no provision in constitution and do you think anyone will even think about changing it, it was defined by a class and that class is caste.

Majority would fall under reservation umbrella, different because we dominate politics of Haryana, Different because we have decided not to give others an upper hand, Different because so far many of us were under the impression that we dont need reservation. Don't mind but Jats in Haryana(on average) were and are better off than in Rajasthan due to the land being barren in Rajasthan hence our view toward reservation and to justify it was different than your. And different because we were asking for it quietly and nicely for a long time now. Now it is time to grab it by force.

Once jat in Haryana get reservation then most of the people would be under this umbrella and it would be easier to eradicate it as per caste and provide it for those who are under poverty line regardless of caste.

Yeah agree ! Jats from Haryana as well as UP are far more prosperous than of Rajasthan reason being extreme conditions for agriculture, poverty, less education etc. The total Population of Rajasthan is around 5.6 Crore, and Jat is biggest and dominating community in Rajasthan. Total Jat population in Rajasthan is around 70 Lakh which is around 14% of rajasthan's population. It started all after Jats got reservation, many casts couldn't digest therefore they also protested and got OBC status for few. Moreover Jats of Bharatpur and Dholpur are kept in General.

So you mean Jats of Haryana don't deserve reservation as they are dominating community in Haryana and politically/economically prosperous too. No comments on this but definitely you should study and learn how Rajasthani Jats got reservation without any such agitation, if I remember we showed our strength in a peaceful manner and that shook the center. Certainly difference is there but effective ways may be same.

Wishful thinking. Btw I second reservation should be given to the really needy ones who are under poverty line but sadly all the well-to-do ppl relish n' exploit it.
