Sexy word should be taken as positive compliment like pretty

This is what our National women commission Chairperson Mamta Sharma said.
"SEXY"
The word itself presents a negative sense how that can be taken for positive sense. Words to use for positive sense are different like pretty beautiful, cute, good looking or sweet. None of these are the synonymous of sexy. Synonymous of sexy are erotic, sensual, stimulating, suggestive, amatory or erogenous and totally different. I don’t see any positive sense among any of these words used for compliments to girls/women.

मैं ये नहीं कह रहा की आवो हम भी इसे अपना लें लेकिन एक बात तो तय है कि हम ईस बहाव से दूर या अछूते नहीं रह सकते | बल्कि ईस बहाव का पुरजोर विरोध करने पर शायद हम अछूत घोषित कर दिए जाएँ |

Dear Prikshit, Your statement is good but how can you say it is not relevent topic.This topic gives very clear understanding of people's thought who are ruling us.Such a people are in Power due to this crime against women are increasing. They are not understanding the value of people respect and simple giving foolish statement in front of Media.Such statement will increase confidence in idiot element of society.
If we are under such type of ruler who are not having difference between Good, Fair and Bad than imagine where our country will go. I think this is the platform on which we people can get & discuss actual portfolio of candidates or party whom we are supporting. Culture is very broad thing which can not be affected by the statement of one person. The word itself is not negative, it depends how you use it and to whom you convey it. She knows that the majority of Indian people follow the media and react spontaneously without getting into the detail of the subject matter. You guys are not going to get anything out of it but people in India will definitely know now who is Mamta Sharma. She did her job and got mileage out of it. These topics are good enough to draw attention of the public from burning topics because public take interest in such things. To have discussion on such topic is just waist of time. As far as me is concerned, I already conveyed that I do not see any harm in use of this word if used appropriately in the right context at the right time for the right person.

For me we are Indians and have proud on our culture and on our country it is strange to note that people from indian origin use language which is supposed to be used for Aliens. We too understand about the smoke screen of news channels.

बिना संदर्भ के भारतीय शब्द भी बड़े अनर्थकारी सिद्घ होते हैं. जैसे संस्कृत के सैंधव शब्द का अर्थ नमक और घोड़ा दोनों होते हैं. भोजन के समय सैंधव मांगने पर कोई घोड़ा खड़ा कर दे और युद्घ पर जाते हुए सैनिक को कोई नमक की पुड़िया पकड़ा दे तो क्या होगा? इसी प्रकार फारसी में उस्ताद का अर्थ होता है – आचार्य, प्रोफेसर, विद्वान परन्तु हिंदी में उसका प्रयोग होता है, तिकड़मी, चालाक और बदमाश के लिए भी ! फारसी के ‘तुख्म’ शब्द को लेकर तो तलवारें चल सकती हैं. इसका अर्थ अंडा और वीर्य दोनों होते हैं. रूसी भाषा के ‘पूतिन’ शब्द के उच्चारण में आप तनिक सा अंतर कर दें तो ‘सीधा’, ‘गड्ढा’ बन जाता है. शब्दों और उनके प्रयोग की माया अपरंपार हैं.




ममताजी को बर्र के छत्ते में हाथ डालने की आवश्यकता ही क्या थी? ऋषियों और मुनियों के साथ बैठकर वे कोई भाषा-विज्ञान की क्लास थोड़े ही ले रही थीं. उनकी इस तनिक सी असावधानी पर उनसे त्याग-पत्र मांगना तो अनुचित ही है.

I am not concerend about what culture of peoples in America or in westeren countries are following or what culture is followed in Arbia. Let them follow there own culture, I am not concerned which culture is Bad or which culture is Good.

In America or in western countries people use F~~~~~k word infront of everyone and used by males or females both, so an example from their culture dose not suit here. I am concerned of, is this word is good for our culture and can be used none of the synonymous of this word shows the positive sense. Do any one of you like to use this word for your own familly members or infront of familly members, If not why trying to ruin society, why to use infront of famillies of others in society.

May be she is referring to informal meaning of sexy. When you talk informally(Something attractive). Not the literal meaning of word.
