about 1.5yr ago I saw similar type of stupidity on the same channel. There was a cow in Ayodhya, and it was walking around something in a circular fashion. They aired this for two days after every couple of hours and were calling it something like 'bhagwaan Ram ki gaay:eek:' . ar bhai is channel TV ka sabte bada namoona dekha tha manne, 1 crime reporter type program aaya karta, naam kona yaad, par wo namoona last me nu kaha kare haatthaa ne hila hila ke (as if performing some magical trick) "Chain se sona hai to ab jaag jaao :rock"

Bhai Sanjeev..... News BAZAAR bn gyi hai to aisa hona Normal hai..... aaj ka ye TV Media Puraane time k PUNJAB Keshri aur Manohar Kahaniya Mag. ka TV version hai...jahan.. Bllatkaar.. Babaji..AGHORI baba's..jyada dikhaai aur bechi jaati hai....Andhvishvaso se bhare desh me ye sab bechna Aasan dikhta hai.... aaj bhi Murkh Andhvishvasi logo ko.... Udte Jahaaz ko dekh k ya Mobile par baat karte dekh chamtkaar na lagta..ar BABA ji ki hath ki safaai me chamtkaar lagta hai...isi liye hmara latest inventions me kitna hath hai sab ko pta hai....

yeh to kuch bhi nahin pannu.....

jab mumbai mein nov mein attacks hue the tab india tv ne ek show kara tha gateway of india ke kabootaron pe....

aur woh reporter aise bol raha tha " ki kal tak yeh kabootar nidar khule aasmaan mein ghoom rahe the...ab kaun inko bharosa dilayega..." blah blah....


jab woh ho sakta hai to aur kuch bhi report ho sakta hai :tamatar

The one I saw was on STAR TV, It was hilarious, this man had predicted his time of death.

Big Hungama and everything for the whole day.

Come the hour (time of his death) the guy did a runner.

LOL

Needless to say I cancelled Star's subscription the very next day.

ya i have also seen that,,, that was on the day of karvachauth
and after dt they have said that the prayers of his wife kept him alive .
 
I hope you remember the incident of near miss at mumbai airport involving Indian President's Helicopter.
I came from my night shift at 7:30 in the morning & incident happened at 9:17 am in the next shift.
I got news from my home & then I confirmed from my colleagues.
They told me that IndianAirlines plane was about little more than 400 meters from the Helicopter holding position at rest after emergency breaks.

Then....

StarNews & NDTV
...zindgi aur maut ke beech bas 300 meter ka faasla....!!!!

AajTak
...haadsa me reh gayi thi bas 100 meter ki doori..!!!


but topped all was INDIA TV
...50 meter:eek: hi door reh gayi thi maut etc etc etc

But I still believe in the MEDIA.
As the MEDIA is growing & expanding coverage..it's so POSITIVE.

There is definitely some conspiracy to defame the credibility of news channels either by evil politicians or by their own competitors so as to create an aroma like they are not reliable..

But MEDIA is still POSITIVELY contributing to our Indian society.
I still have faith is Media & Journalism..
They have uncovered lot many scandles & unreveal so many hidden truth.

personally..
NDTV & StarNews are my favourite as of now
AajTak thdoa sa dheema hua hai but still Good..

Print media still has left with a little sanity. Electronic media thrives on TRP.All of them are same except Doordarshan News.
