Hi All,

I have been closely looking at the posts recently in our website forums and found that we have been devoting much time on some useless topics like harijan, jaat sikh Vs Hindu Jaat(meri sasural episode) etc etc.
What is going to be the gain out of these. This site is meant for Jats and no matter who they are they shared a common ancestoral line some where( i hope i am right).

I had posted a thread where i had asked people to let me know if they share a hobby with me but there is not even a single reply to it.

Any way just thought to again start a thread for sharing our hobbies (if there exist any). I would also like to ask our admin to start a new forum for Sharing hobbies where people can get into and talk to the same hobby sharing people or even get interested in a new hooby.

Thanks
Kuldeep

Dear Kuldeep,

One can not pass a judgement upon what is useful and what is useless. Like many topics discussed here which are useless for you, I can also name many great hobbies of others, which are totally useless for me..Bird watching is a great hobby for so many all over the world, but 99% jats will call it totally uselss..You certainly have a point as far as asking memebrs to list their hobbies is concerned. Anyway to cut the long story short, my limited list of hobbies is;

1. Writing shairee and gazals
2. Singing self written stuff
3. Listening old hindi songs
4. Gardening
5. Gossiping after a glass or two of beer in company of right people.
5. Looking for patterns in anything and then stretching my brain to explain them

Well its good to hear from some people about their hobbies.

I am a fresh Numismatic (who collect currency , coins or notes) and looking for people who can help me in improving my collection. Let me know if any one can do anything for it.

Thanks
Kuldeep

Hobbies To Bahut Hain...

My Hobbies have kept changing over the years. In school I was an outstanding Photographer and Dramatist (Almost 30 Years back).

Then at one point I was mad after Jim Corbett's adventures and read all his books at least 20 times each.

College mein Dharmender ki pictures dekhne ki hobby develop hui.

Then in the Army, looking after the men I served with became a full time job and hobby.

Now a days the hobby is to 'Make Two Ends Meet' with minimum effort. Not easy mind you. And whenever I manage some spare time, it is watching movies and web surfing. JATLAND of course!

I like the idea of a separate head for hobbies. It would be good to meet people with similar interests.

I like -
1. Reading and writing poetry (English, hindi/urdu, haryanavi).
2. Music. Amateur singing.
3. Martial arts.
4. Pencil sketching.
5. Reading. Mostly science (fact). Sometimes fiction too.
6. Hiking/Trekking.
7. Chess.
