simply a misrepresentation. the word looted was there. elsewhere it was conqured. there was no jaati pratha where every ruler in history was rajput or brahmin. wherever jat appeared on the scene to those people called hindus, then hindus themselves named it as jaati pratha
 
no brahmin/rajput came forward to encounter ghazani, when he looted their famous somnath temple. n last n 17th attack of ghazani was not to loot but 2 punish jats.

at least these bloody indian/hindu historians should realise now ki jis lootere ko hum ne lootna bhoola diya, vo bhi us moorti pooja pe, jo kabhi joton ne ki hi nahin, us jat ko aap log surajmal se shhuru kar rahe hain? ghazni se kyon nahin?

jat achanak is most fertile land of world pe va kahen sen na alien ki tarah se aa base. jin ki jameen thi un ne bhai kadi koi rukka koni maryaa?;)

I'll soon come to present topic also. But the glaring example of that is comparison of Rana Pratap with Surajmal. Within less than 2 hours that battle was over. Rana had no plan for future India/Hindustan even if he could have won the battle. In that battle only 3000 soldiers were there. Out of those even 50% were muslims under Hasan Khan Mewati. Remaining many were Bheel, Meena etc. rarely a few were rajputs. The battle was not at all faught for Nation or Religion at all. It was just a usual battle that n e common man or jat fights for his land or house.

Do u rememeber that u have ever read word "HINDU" in Ramayana, Geeta, mahabharat or in any of our Ved Puraans ?

This is a same for us even we have forgotten our identity our religion. "Hindu" is not a Sanskrit word. We say our "Sabhayata" is oldest one. Have u ever think that how old is "Hindu" word. This is a "FARSI" word.

"Garv se Bolo Hum Hindu Hai"

Have we ever tried out to find out the meaning of Hindu?

shokeen /sheokhanda/sheokhande/sheokhand/ all are same

Basically it is belived that the termes originate from sau (100) khand of Shiva,s head. i read it somewhere ..

Villages in Delhi are as
Nangloi//Peeragarhi//Nilothi//Sultan Pur//Dichaon//Chhaawla//Mangol Pur Kalan//Mangol Pur Khurd//

we have some villages in Narnaul and Jind also.

ofcourse the land has been acquired by the govt but i didnt find ny one approaching the director or going mubai to be a hero it is just base less thing
first time govt acquired it @ 60 paisa /sqyd in 1962 and second time for mangol pur kalan and khuard in 1980 and rate was @ 5 rs/sqyd .
although govt. still giving that land @ 9000/-rs /sqyd and more remeber this is govt rate actual rate is three or four time to that so what these people get in lieu of there land is what we call the tip of iceberg

hi,bhai logo suraj shokeen from kamruddin nagar delhi.to share more about our sir name shokeen which originated from shokhanda is a modernised name of the same as now we call it shokeen.however it was discussed at the jat mahasabha that we will go ahead & rename the sir name as shokhanda.now to add more to this when i was going through the site i came to know about all the villages where shokeens are however there is one more village known as chhawala near bijwasan.glad to find a site like this.sare bhaiya ne meri ram ram.abt me im a dentist working here in bangalore.

I am Sushil Sheokand from village-Dumerkha (JIND) Hry,working in Chandigarh.I am very happy to see you on Jatland because this is a best station where we can share our views.

as I have listened from our elders that,we the Sheokands/Shokeens have originated from Lord Shiva.In the very beginning we were called as Shivkand then in delhi region this name became the Shokeen.Many years ago Some Shokeen came to the village-Boli Kheri (uchana) and here they became Sheokands.Our villages near by Uchana are-Dumerkha,Sudkain,Ghaso,Khark bura,Tarkha,Uchana Khurd,Palwan(Chabutra of Sheokand khap for meetings & Panchayats is in-Palwan),Bhanbhori,Kakrod,chhan etc.There are 24 villages near bythe Uchana town.
 
I just wish to say that who ever started this shokeen thing was purely a dumb man and he has ruined it for lot of people. I have got to know that people are fighting in villages in delhi to get Sheokhanda be recognized as the official surname but are facing hurdles from alot of sides.


Many elders had retorted that using to separate names for same clan cloud lead to marriages within clans, but i guess no body cares especially after the response of rest of India who are pitched against in describing jats as barbaric and their marriage customs " anti- Indian constitution".

By the way my ancestral village is mangolpur kalan.
