Shining India and Suffering India

Dear All


To me it appear that there are two India: Shining India and Suffering India. Can we start a thread to discuss about these two.

Shining India-Fourteen more Indians join the world billionaires.
Suffering India: 30 crore People in India live below poverty line
We are free to add on to one side or both sides. Hope we shall feel concerned and contribute.

Dr. sahab, very true. However, it has always been so. In haryana, punjab, the ratio is still low, but when we see through bihar, assam, west bengal, the ratio is number of times we have in haryana.

The government just keeps manipulating the numbers or we can say the definition of poverty line. They keep on highlighting the shining india. As discussed before in a thread, Bhagat Singh(a great visionary) saw it 60-70 years forehand. These figures are only increasing. More n more farmers are committing suicides.

Majority of us is not in a position to see suffering India.

The Shining India is seen everywhere.India ha overtaken Japan in number of billionaires.In Apollo , Fortis like Hospitals kidney, liver , heart transplants are available.Womb Transplants are being planned. Vipro Chief of Indian MNC's has asset of 1,51,000 crore Rs assets.
5,48,415 Cars were produced in India in 2001.
Ek purana Gurgaon aur ek sarak ke uss taraf Amriki gurgaon. Shining India and Suffering India ka sateek udharan hai.

The moronic government will keep the country in grinding poverty. We donot have a critical mass of people to turn the country around. I absolutely HATE Indian politicians as a rule and urge you to do the same. I just hope this mai-baap government can stop abusing the civil liberties of the citizens ... "subjects" would be a better word
