Shishram Ola, appointed Dy. Leader in Loksabha

After much delibrations (may be after seeing the thread on JL of Jats in new govt.:p:p) Congress has appointed Sisram Ola as its deputy leader in the Lok Sabha.
I think it a ploy to placate the senior Jat leader from Rajasthan who was not included in the Union council of ministers. Ola was a cabinet minister in UPA's earlier govt.
Wish him good luck and success in this new role.
 
शीश राम ओला जी को बहुत बहुत बधाई .......झुंझनु चुरू पिलानी एरिया का एकमात्र बड़ा जाट नेता ...... अच्छा हुआ की उनको एक अच्छा पद मिला.....जाटों को बधाई ....
वैसे... क्या कोई बता सकता है कि पिछली सरकार में मंत्री श्री ओला जी की क्या क्या उपलब्धियां रहीं .....? ताकि जब कोई हम से पूछे नेशनल लेवल के जाट लीडर्स के बारे में तो हम गर्व के साथ बता सकें ....

anil sangwan ji mai bhee Jhunjhunu se belong karta hoon, Sheeshram Olaji kee koi uplabdhi nahi hai, 35 varsho se arthat bachpan se inka naam sunte aa rahe hain, Olaji padhe likhe nahi hai ex armyman hai...inki jagah yadi koi padha likha jaat hota toh jhunjhunu zile ka bahut hee badhiya vikas kar sakta tha, isse achche toh Sikar ke Subhash Mahria hain jinka Sikar zile ke vikas me ek aham yogdaan hai....issliye yeh hum jhunjhunu zile ke jaton ka dhurbhagya hee hai aur meri baat ka bura mat man na, jat bahut bhole hote hain, sab kuch pata hote hue bhi Olaji ko har bar jita dete hain.

एक बड़ा जाट नेता ....जो इतनी साल तक लोगों का प्रतिनिधि रहा.....उसका नाम कहीं नहीं आता ..... शायद कुछ विकास का काम ही ना करवाया हो......

Anil Sangwanji aapne Bilkul sahi likha hai....mai aapka aabhari hoon jo aapne meri baat ko samjha....
 
Rajpal Ji, what I got from net following are the achievements of Sh. Shishram Ola
He started girls education in a remote area in rural Rajasthan with three girls in the school known as Indira Gandhi Balika Niketan Ardawata in 1952; as a result of these efforts during 1952-96, brought Jhunjhunu district to third place in literacy (in Rajasthan).
Sis Ram Ola was the recipient of the Padma Shri award in 1968 for social work
 
35 saal poltics main ar 3 school khole... jee Deepender hooda nee 20 toh engineering college khol diye honge 5 saal main..we may need to find his more achivments..
 
He was the Minister of Mines in previous Govt.
Ola’s tenure was marked by a bitter turf war between steelmakers and miners on the issue of iron ore prices. The sector continues to have cumbersome laws, no foreign investment and strong local lobbies.
After the ministry was decoupled from the Coals and Mines Ministry in 2004, foreign and domestic miners hoped Ola would focus on the mines sector.
The deliveries
1. Got Navratna status for state-run aluminium giant NALCO.
2. The company’s alumina production capacity was ramped up to 2.1 million tonnes a year from 1.55 million tonnes.
3. He also managed a mini-ratna status for Hindustan Copper Ltd after it became a ‘zero-debt company’.

Although he has been appointed Dy. leader, however I still think that it would have been better for him if he was given some ministrial portfolio.

Rightly said…

This is indeed the misfortune of the people of jjn…that they have a politician like sisram ola…who never allowed any other person with great potential to grow and can place a challenge for him….a dist. which has produced world famous industrialist (LN Mittal, Birla, khaitan, piramal, Singhania and many more) and a large no. of soldiers who has served and still serving to the nation still want to see the sign of development..Dispite being elected as MP for as many as 35 years still no one knows him on national level.

Its our failure too for being a voter and still voting for him for the sake of choosing a jat leader… some time we have good option in other communities as well... bt again….the dominance of jat is on stake…so don’t want to take logical and inclusive approach toward choosing a right leader…our community is afraid of listening the question of …you have elected a bramhan or rajput in a jat dominated area???… Though we have talented Jat leaders in abundance bt again what’s the guarantee they will not be as idle as our present Incumbency… skepticism will always be remained in voters mind…
