Well Kapil might have regarded this as the work of a girl too young or inept with words trying to describe the behaviour of a person with "Double standards" , when i went back to read the first post of Jit again , I was kind of suprised to find something which is pretty close to "universal truth".
Yes I repeat this is becoming more of an universal truth , the lines quoted above are true , I concur with the wuthor , though I modify it by removing the word strange and rather adding the word "common" to this kind of behaviour.

Who is not selfish here ? Who is really concerned about the "common good" than the "self-good"?

Whose priority list's top few elements are not based on " Me , me , myself , my family etc etc .. " !

You are turning what she wrote on its head by calling it universal truth. She called all that STRANGE. And strange is not common at all. Maybe you should write a fresh post
