Students wanting to come to USA for higher studies

I'm currently doing Masters in Electrical Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington,where Kalpana Chawla did her Aeronautical Engineering from, majoring in Wireless Communication. I'm in my final semester now and would be graduating soon.
The reason I'm starting this thread is to help others who decide to further their studies here in the US. I know the dilemna prospective students face when they decide to come to the US. There's hardly anybody who they can look at for advice. I think being here in the US I can be of immense help to my Jat Bhai Behens.
So please feel free to ask me for anything if u have any queries.

Being thousands of miles away from my land, i feel an extra responsibilty to do something for my people and my land. I always used to wonder why these NRIs try to do so much when even the people in the land are not bothered but the mystery has begun to unravel. Its because of the pain of being so far away from Matrubhumi that drives the urge to do wotever one can.
I've been doing and will always do wotever I can for my people and my land and hope that one day ours will be the most prosperous and most profcient land.

I have comletedmy M tech from ITBHU by Biochemical engg , before that i have also completed my Msc from biotech
To be very frank I am an average student but after that i want to do my higher study from usa .
so i am in need of your guidence a nd help to get addmission there .

First of all my apologies to all for such a late reply to all ur queries. actually I was busy with my exams and then was busy with the preparations of coming home (yes, I'm back for vacation).
Surender ji as far as the job scene is concerned, I'm not familiar with it as I'm still dng my MS there.
Arun, as far as the Biomedical field is concerned, its booming like anything there. there are also a lot of financial assistantships available in this field. And going by the kind of background you have I don't see anything going wrong if u want to pursue ur career there. Take the GRE and TOEFL tests and start applying, i'm sure u'll get a lotta calls from different schools there.
Shilpa, as far as MBA is concerned I think the first step U gotta take is to start preparing for GMAT test (if u wanna come to the US) and then do the rest accordingly.

Please let me know if u have any other query.
