n its not necessary tht u do ur PG right now....work for some time...couple of yrs mayb...n then u can enroll for some course which u feel wil help u in ur advancement in ur career.....i guess u do hav age on ur side....

1 baat to confirm hui.. i m dropping idea of PG diploma..
but i cannot join any full time course here, bcoz i m not in mood for staying in Pune for more than 1 yr.. m here jst bcoz my father is in govt. job and presently he is posted here.. nd m leaving here wid my family...

bhai master to master mere to ghar pe bhi yohi kaha the ke tu 10vi bhi par karega ak na.. fir 12vi fir graduation ku bhi yahi kahwe the nuke tera to mushkil hai hai..
ab piche pade hai nuka yaar ib PG bhi kar hi le..

jaise aapne kaha MDU ki dukan se degree lene ka to bhai nu kagaz kathhe karan ka kya fayda jab kuch aata jata na ho, kite interview khatar jaga to file ke boj aur marega.
Haan agar aage lecturer banan ka irada se to beshak MCA daal de aage kaam awegi & that hardly cost you 30-40 k per year.

bhai saab i think u need to update urself...

my father is working in a PSU n he has a correspondence degree in purchase management aur sirf usi ki wajah se woh aaj chief manager (purchase) hein...

i talk only abt things tht i hav seen ppl arnd me experience...
n i dun hav ne idea abt state govt owned cos. coz never met neone workin thr....
aur campus abhi kafi kam hi PSUs kar rahe hein.....n like i suggested....he wud hav a mix of exp. n degrees....so getting a job wud b easier...campus ki un loggon ko zyada zarrorat padti hai woh hav never worked before....like me... :)

Bhawana ji Apne pitaji se ye pochna ki kya unki co. correspondence walon ko leti hai???? If u are sitting in a PSU & then do any course to thik hai wo chalega but no PSU give entry to correcpondence degreeholders.
SJVNL is an miniratna that specifically advertised that only full timers are allowed abhi last date bhi khatam nahi hui hai.

BHEL has recently visited CS campus & NSIT Delhi, NIT Kurukshetra 5 mths back.
NHPC, BEL, Rites, PGCIL, PFC etc. etc. regularly visited ICWA campus
SAIL ne premeir engg inst. se fresher bulae hai last month list lagi hai.

When You are in Job Then only ur performance can help u to rise further, Degrees are secondry things haan specific jaroorat hai ya padai ki iccha hai to padai kabhi khatam nahi hoti kitna bhi padh lo. Sari jindgi aadmi ko kuch na kuch learning milti rahti hai

par maine dekha hai campus wale logon ko IT main kabhi support main dal dete hai ya kabhi kisi aur bakwas kaam main. par jo bina walkin ke lie jate hai unhe mehnat karni padti hai par wo marji ke job profile ke lie hi apply karte hai.
As i have seen my frnds who joined through walkin interview were asked to join support project. those 2 guys left job and got much better offer. but guys who joined through campus didnt have any choice as they dont have any stronghold on any single platform. So even they dont know for which platform they should apply.
Maine jitne bhi interview dekhe hai pehle technical round hota hai aur waha agar aap main sach main potential hai to HR round formality ke lie hota hai aur degree tab mangte hai, yes it is obvious ki HR apke degree ke upar salary kam kheechne ki feerak main baitha rehta hai. then u need ur bargning skills to be good, wahan lambi lambi fekni padti hai. aur dialog marne padte hai.

lekin haan unhone correspondence se karne ke baad join ki thi...


n u r talkin abt ICAI and ICWA...all top notch places...
lets talk abt our regular everyday colleges....wahan kam jati hein PSUs.....

aur bahut saari cos. apne ad mein mention karti hein full time or equivalent....n correspondence is covered under equivalent....

sirf newspaper padhne se kuch nahin hota...usse dhyan se bhi padhna padta hai

mehnat wahan dikhane ka mauka milega jahan entry milegi...aur shayad degree ke abhav mein entry hi na mile....

aur mere to bahut jugaad hein...fir bhi campus ki to ek baar zarrorat padti hi hai....

n another point i wud like to make....anurag ne yahan sabse suggestion maange hein....jo maine apne acc diye...

aapko jo theek lagta hai uske acc aap suggestion dijiye...meri baaton pe comment karne ki kya zarrorat hai..
n i dun remember reading newhr on jatland tht to reply to a post all the ppl need to hav the same opinions....

so yeah...hope u got wht m hinting at :)
