Supreme court has given a historic verdict regarding the reservation policy.
It is a very balanced and remarkable decision in many ways:
1. for the first time, a decision has been made to curtail the misuse of
reservation by the creamy layer.
2. OBCs are given more reservation.

Now a million dollar question is, how are the politicians are going to react to this ??
we can see that many of the leaders of the backward community are coming out in open to continue extending the reservation benefits to the creamy layer people as well.
Although we are called majority community none of our leaders have the courage to stand up and ask these leader to shut up. or atleast we can expect them to question the necessity of extending reservations to the CL.

The obvious reason why they are not uttering a single word on these lines is they need their votes.
Now my question is, ARE OUR VOTES WORTH NOTHING? or rather we all are worth nothing. why are we being taken for granted.

If they are not bothered about our future then what are we waiting for.
Its high time we teach them a lesson.
The only help these creeps do is bhashan dena, akhade bana ke jamino pe kabje karna, sharab ke dheke dena, chamcho ko naukari lagva dena ya bahot bada teer marna ho to waive off electricity bills.
Its time we ask them to gear up and work for our real interests
I think the judiciary has tried to do its part of the job but now its time for us to get up and descipline these good for nothing creeps called politicians.
Agar inhe hamare hak ke liye awaj udhane mein sharam ati hae ya dar lagta hae to phir enhe hamare representative ya leader banne ka kya haq hae.
Mayawati, paswan are the real leader of their communities and they deserve the respect their followers are giving them....& am not being sarcastic here.
 
It is All about Definition

Dear Mr. Avinash,

It is all about the perception and definition of Creamy Layer. Politics is suppose to be a service which has been used as business for over centuries, hence profitability of it would define a particular word for a politician.

Since a child does not have control as to which community or country he/she is borne, why should the origin of birth be the reason for making any decision. It is precisely for this reason, I had written earlier that nothing should be decided on the cast or religious basis. Unfortunately the world does not think as we do. A politician is a businessman who is playing with the emotions of the people for his/her advantage.

One would need a Gandhi like figure to question these politician. To rise to Gandhi’s status in the national stream requires a lot of sacrifice and patience and we all know how difficult that would be. The human being by nature follow the part of least resistance and hence the problem. I read another article by Pragya, a “Struggling Journalist” on this site titled “where are we heading for”. Such journalists can do a world of good to the society to educate them. To expect established leaders to give up their vote bank or in simple terms their business, would be nothing but foolhardiness. Let us all unite and write not only on this forum, but the media that is accessible to the main public, be it electronic or print, to make them aware about this ruling and its implication on the society. We must question all these leaders on one on one debate on national forums.

Can it be done? I am sure, it can be.

(a personal opinion...excuse me)

....but ...but...& ..but.......no affirmation from majority. That's why we are suffering & hanging amidst Reserved & Non-reserved groups which if of no use.

I do not understand why JATS are running after resevation. On one hand they claim to be in upper segment of society and on other hand are begging for reservation. Why???????????????????

Why are they running after politicians and wasting their time.
Educate yourself, if resources are not there then fight for resources.
Accept the job whatever comes in the way.............Do not think it is too small to your status. The only question is of survival, if you servive the test of time that means you have guts to go higher and higher in life.
Hardwork and determination are only two things you need to get success in life. Such things as I do not have money or other resources to get on life..........are tame excuses.

My personal opinion is that we should forget about reservation.

i guess some of you have got me wrong...
jab bap-dad mehnat se kamate aye hae to hum bhi kama saktey hai....kyon unki izzat mitti mein milaye
...ek taraf to chhati dhok ke kaho ki hum jat bahot badi taup hae....aur dusari aur haath mein bhikh ka katora leke reservation ke line mein khade ho jana....this is called status of convenience, am totally against that..
i think the entire point is missed here...
last time when mandal commission was implemented i guess the leaders like devilal, v p singh were mainly instrumental.....politicians from north india are desperately after cheap pubilicity and they are the ones who advocate freebees....u'll not find leaders from south & west doing much of this...
now the question of defining the creamy layer has come up and i can bet anything that people like mayawati, sharad yadav, paswan will go to any extent to remove this clause or atleast define it in such a way that its not worth applying the criteria....its time when leaders from JAT, Rajputs, baniya, brahim communities should stand up for our cause and make sure that only the deserving people get the benefit and they should also talk about sequentially phasing out reservation...
they treat us like GHAR KI MURGI DAL BARABAR...chaat te phirte hae chamaro ki aur vote mangte hae jatto se...these fools are S**T scared of harijans....
If we are a majority then lets live like majority...

I don't think that if we got reservation the things will change drastically in our favour. Reservation is not going to help anyone but it makes a community handicap only who just live on the hope of reservation. Fighting spirit, competitive attitude have no place in that community.

Since last two years i saw here on Jatland some people start crying again and again for reservation after every couple of Months.
 
Sorry to those who r looking for reservation

I am strogly beleive that we don't need any reservation, any mercy or any type of help. Our strong history shows we are fighters and because these politicians we r not ready to get our beautifull image damaged.
So if you are Jaat i thought you don't need any reservation yoou should work hard make your own place in this big planet.
 
jarurat mand ko reservation milne maie koi burai nai hai..chahe wo jat ho yaa phir kisi aur comm. se.. faltu maie overreact karne se kuch na hone wala..

dear all

a long discussion allready happened
and i think thr r so many diverse views of poeple have come up on reservation issue.
i strongly against any kind of cast based reservation but its mere politics so we cant avoid it.
but we can fight for our interest - not any sort of reservation- but the reservation for others should not creat problems for us - it is puttig us in more trouble - we have to fight more to get the same thing we were getting with less struggle. Our leaders should stand up and represent our concern but i dont find any leader who can even think of fighting for us.
So its all in vein and i think we would discuss this issue for some time and then will keep qiut and accept the situation - and our childern will have to struggle to get educated in premier institutes and getting good jobs.
 
We have accepted reservation ..... though now more than 68% of the Indian population is under the reservation and rest will be soon. I think it is a good move and soon it will reach up to 80% if some the cast left will be under the umbrella of OBC.

I don't know the landless people of the uppercast will get something of it or not as they don't have other medium of earning and they are in a great need of some push in the main stream. The people who are of well to do family which are either in SC/ST/OBC must be excluded from this as they are now well in main stream, which was the objective of Reservation.

But Vote Bank ..... who want to leave these 68% votes. only solution is give as much as reservation you can give and include the maximum number of cast.
 
Good News

the OBC MPs supported by the other reservation community representatives have already started uniting and working on ways to write-off the creamy layer criteria...and our good for nothing creeps are may be sitting somewhere and supervising some rescue operation to save another PRINCE trapped in a borewell...i am touched by their empathy....i sometimes wonder...why don't these people get converted to one of these castes thereby they can show their solidarity with them and we can get rid of these creeps...win-win for both...what say
 
Well, I support Reservation for geniune needy ppl who're indeed poor & backward ppl be it Jat or others. But this Reservation thingy has been become more of political & diplomatic gimmick and u just cant get rid of it. So all in all instead of really needy ppl only the rich n political ppl get most of it always.

As for OBC Reservation for Jats, I just dont understand why u ppl r protesting it. Its a diplomatic game so instead of showing false pride and being odd man out why not using their game plan on them only and being in mainstream!!

You all know that our country just cant get rid of Reservation thingy so if everyone is tryin to get benifit from it why not we? when Brahmin, Rajput & every well to do Cast ppl trying to get this why some intellectual Jats protesting it even after getting it??

If you dont wanna use it dont use it but why to put hurdle in the real needy ones? I know here most of the ppl who protesting reservation r from very well-to-do families, hummm...guys, just come outta ur comfort and visit Rajasthan villages & see the condition of Jat farmers who r dependent only on Monsoon, so just to come outta this poor living conditions they take risks and sell or mortgage their lands and send thier Kids to study and make their lives....and I do believe that most of Jat kids who hail from such poor families are really hard workers....they give their bests all the time but sometimes you know they just dont get selected in exams for merely 1-2%, when it hurts most and breaks their moral!! This is the crucial time when Reservation thingy counts most for realy needy ones!

Think about it and stop showing ur false pride! Jats always been real Warriors and Hard workers and always will be but Present Time is really hard here everyone is playing Dirty Diplomatic games so we need to check our War Plan, and we must fight Fire with Fire otherwise we'll be out! period.
