like nepal remained the only hindu rashtra till today similarly Tebat remained one of the highest learning centres of Budhism. In ancient time Jats contributed a lot to Budhism. They were instrumental in spreading it to far and wide. Even Kashmeer was a center of Budhism. It was here that a World conference of budhism was held during the time of Kanishka.

Tewatia Jats are found in Rajasthan, Haryana, UP and Delhi.
To name a few in this got I must mention Chaudhary Charan Singh, Nahar Singh, Ballu, Jaun Paal/Paul etc. founder of my village Janauli about 2000 yrs back, Bhatona was founded from it about 900 yrs back. I'll continue....
teotia sir can u tell me smth about bhatona and its near by teotia villages
i m also teotia n i belong to nayabas a teotia village near gulaothi. our village is also originated frm bhatona. i also wanted tyo know about "dagre wale baba". could u plz provide me some knowledge about baba.:)

Nikhilji he was some great ancestor of Jats in Batana. He was Tewatia Jat. I've telephoned one of my friends in Danaura near Batana. He says that he has a book on it. plz wait. or you plz try that book and float it here. However, we have a simialr ancestor here at Palwal, known as Bani wala. He has a good temple here. Its all related to Jats ancestor worship. Ancestors were so committed to their clan in Jats and vice versa that it misled Herodotus to presume and imagine that Jats practiced cannibalism.

Another important point that he is mentioning is that all five centres of Tewatias were settled simultaneously, namely Tebati/Ujjain (MP), Tebti/Januthal in Rajasthan, Palwal/Janauli in Haryana, Batana (UP) and Tewatias of trans Ganga region namely Garh Ganga. However, its just verbal, short and telephonic now, lets see.

leaving tavetpal , is there any truth about Annang Pal and prathvi raj connection?

Bhats have in general been confusing Jat history. Even I've heard about Tevatpal but its not from him that all Tewatias have descended. In fact Jats sided with Prithviraj in his first battle. And Tewatia Pal/Khap of Jats supported Prithvi Raj. Thats why Gauri was defeated.

Anangpal is just about 800 years old. While my village (Janauli) is more than 2000 years old. Tewatias of Rajasthan are even older. They were quire numerous aroun Delhi during Anangpal's reign. Hence, this story of Tevatpal.

I'm glad to see you from Batana. Can you please not tell something about Dagde wale Baba? People are asking here. One of my Bhatonia friend told me that he had a book on him which is now misplaced somewhere. Do you also have that book?

2000 years back ........and what happened after that ,eager to know ..

around 1200 AD a sun god was worshipped at rohtak the beri village. nearly abt the same time a gangus jat created a temple at konark while periplus of the erythrean sea had a time to visit konark temple of sun god. never did he find ne time to visit this beri village of rohtak where many sungods r being unearthed.

b4 asoka v hear 2-3 people in kalinga who fought wars wid bindusara nd chandragupta maurya. a tradition of electing the king kind of which is found in pala empire where the first king gopala the jat was an elected king nd similarly harsha the vardhana the bains the virk jat was again an elected king at thanesar in haryana who later changed his capital to kannauj

all those hathi gumpha inscriptions are all of jats. in kalinga war, jats were posed against jats like in alexander's invasion

the vahan of first jain guru rishab dev was a bull similar was the nandi bail of lord siva was that of the vahan of all jats. v were all khetihar majdoors that all rode upon the bail, all jats.

the periplus of erithrean sea mentions all jats like that of balhara king in arabian sea, all jats. 2 kno da history of jats plz bank upon the foriegn authors. no purana has mentioned the alexander's invasion. where all porus, ambi, the tokus jat of takshila, were all jats.

sumthing must have occured in 12th century.wen the shankarracharya was born where all jats, the jatis were converted into jatis nd their original gr8 grand father was relegated into the ashes.
