Its difficult to generalize things as biology is very vast field. As few years back there was hype about medical transcript jobs in India but today they are nowhere. Specially with PhD your area of specialization become very narrow and good jobs you can get on the basis on the topic of your PhD, for example in agriculture (as I assume from your previous post) there is Plant Physiology, Pathology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Secondary Metabolites, Cybrids, Hybrids, Tissue Culture and so on.
So after PhD good opportunities: - Postdoc (abroad), jobs in reputated companies like Monsanto, Mahyco and many more or scientist jobs in IARI itself as they have many laboratories all over India, but all these things depends on long term goals from person to person.
