Hi All,We often see talks on jat unity across various platforms, be it JL, social networking sites, social gathering or panchayats etc. How far the idea of unity goes? Many panchayats have been hold so as to bring all jats under one umbrella atleast for the burning issue of "Jat Reservation". There are a category of so called elite jats against the idea of reservation, let me tell you many friends there are thousands of aspirations left stranded without joining when jat reservation was cancelled. If the fight is for taking the credit, then jat reservation will keep in talks rather becoming a reality. If we get it, a win-win situation and credit would be given to all jats. I would like fellow jats to keep their views so that taking up ideas from here help us streamline our fighr for reservation.Thanks,Prikshit
 
WHY JATS should not file a PIL against the reservation of other OBC categories?

The neo modern Judge in the supreme Court while dismissing the JAT quota under OBC had taken view that no community can be called backward and backwardness does not relate to the community and there is no provision in the constitution to give quota on the basis of financial backwardness. I want to ask why the other castes and communities have been given the OBC quota if the community can not be backward. The Jat leaders to raise the issue if the OBC quota is strike down in case of JAT ,then it should also be scrapped for other OBCs. Most of the castes under the existing OBC scheme are not socially backward. If the stand of supreme court is right then there should be quota for SC only. We should make a case.
 
सभी को सादर प्रणाम ...... हम सभी अपनी जाट एकता की बात करते है पर सायद कामयाब लोग जो की समाज के लिए कुछ कर सके सोचते ही नही है. ये मेरी अपनी राय है. आरक्षण के लिए लड़ाई बिलकुल सही है परन्तु उसमे भी राजनीती. हर कोई अपना नाम कामना चाहता है. इन सब के पीछे वही लोग है जिनको इस आरक्षण मै राजनितिक नाम कामना है.


हम सब हर जगह देखते है की दूसरी समाज ने बहोत ही अच्छा काम किया है जैसे की अग्ग्रेसन समाज. हर जगह अच्छे हस्पताल , अच्छे स्कूल. सुरुआत के दिनों मै हमारी अपनी जाट संस्था, छोटू राम संस्था भी अच्छा काम कर रही थी अब पता नही कहाँ पर कोई गड़बड़ है या फिर लोग ही इस बारे मै नही सोचना चाहते. जाट संस्था/ छोटू राम संस्था ने बहोत अच्छे स्कूल चलाये थे जिनका बहोत ही अच्छा नाम हुआ करता था पर अब वो नाम सुनने मै भी नही आता. न कोई हस्पताल न कोई स्कूल. क्या ऐसा कोई रास्ता/ जरिया है जिस से हम लोग भी समाज मै अपना काम दिखा सके. हमारे समाज के लोग काबिल है, पैसा भी है पर हमारे पास सायद इन चीजो के लिए समय नही है. किसी को तो पहल करनी होगी , अपनी बात उन लोगो के सामने रखनी होगी जो काबिल है और जो लोग इन सबके पदाधिकारी है.


क्या ये हो सकता है की हम लोग कोई ऐसा रास्ता / जरिया खोजे जिस से आम आदमी , गरीब किसान का फायदा हो. जैसे की गेहू हम लोग उगाते है धान हम उगाते है तो क्या ऐसा कोई सरकारी नियम नही जिसके तहत हम गाँव के लोगो का समूह बना कर उनको खुद की चावल खुद का आट्टा बनाने की अनुमति मिले वो भी समूह छूट के साथ. अपना सामान , अपना नाम , अपनी कमाई , अपनी तररकी. क्या ये संभव हो सकता है. ये मेरे व्यथित मन की सोच है.

There can be several ways to proceed once again towards the goal of securing reservation for Jats in government services and in admission in educational institutions,One can think of raising a concerted demand for the release of the data recently obtained in the comprehensive caste based census. The information contained therein will make many things clear- particularly the position of the Jats in terms of the parameters laid down for counting a caste as a backward caste. Jats are placed in a dichotomous state - forward among the backwards; backward among the forwards. The dichotomy must end. The government has the key.
 
We also need suggestions from legal experts here. When others can be considered why not we? Moreover efforts are being made to bring all under one umbrella. Let's see what is the next step.
 
There are fellow jats, who were selected for banking jibs under Obc. Whole of the process was completed, but they were not allowed by banks to join after SC ruling. What can be done to atleast secure jobs for those candidates
 
I wish all Jatlanders a very happy independence day. May this year brings in new heights to all jats in all pahases of life.
 
Though I am against reservation to anybody but I am fully with jats asking reservation because why others are getting specially yadav, sony, saini, gujjar etc, thus we must be one for the cause and fight

I am not ......we have many castes,sections and tribes who have history of 1000 years of ill treatment . Even now deserving ones do not get benefit of reservation .

For others please add Jats as well they also got reservation in Rajasthan ( though a political gimmick ) . I do not know about others but as per my knowledge do Yadavas has reservation in Bihar or UP
 
Yes, Yadavs have reservation all over india. On the social and economic life they are almost at par with the Jats.While Yadavs have

presence in more states than Jats Both have exclusive settlements of population in separate clusters. And if one goes deeper in history

both might show up a common link.
 
Initially four varanas were based on work and frankly speaking some suffered due to their on doings, secondly is 57 years time less to come up, in fact now they are batter than many upper castes, so this reservation must be stopped and all should get equal chance. However, if others get than jats must be given
 
Baniyas have OBC reservation in Bihar , Thakurs have OBC reservation in Gujarat . I am sure SC didn't knew this fact while deciding the review petition.

Once again protest date has be postponed, earlier it was set for September 28. Tomorrow there is a meeting at hissar. Let's sew what would be the next move.
 
Brother problem with us is we all are leaders and no body is follower, we do not listen to another jat, we hardly agree to the point of another jat, so this task of reservation seems to me bit difficult, rest God knows

Your observation at the moment seems to be nearer true position.
But in the interest of common cause of the community, perhaps, all the leading groups of Jats with various platforms would rise to the occasion unitedly and it is hoped they will get the needful done !!!
