United We Stand .........

I live in Delhi ..... have a big circle of friends mostly of other castes :) ....... ...
well i have mostly met 2 type of persons 1. who simple love the way we are 2. really hate or talk bad about us..
well on this topic i would love you all to discuss why people hate or dislike Us .. n please don't say all are jealous obviously like all human beings , we are also not perfect ..... when i hear news channels etc talking great about people of the community i feel really happy proud .. but when i read or see channel showing bad images of the community it hurts a lot ...

my main motive to start this thread is ... we all as one unit should stand n change whatever is wrong in our community or society i know change is a slow process but its high time to change .......
we need to change for good .......... i am only talking about changing few bad habits or our way of thinking ....... n also we should b united ...
at least don't discriminate on this basis Punjab Jat Haryana Jat UP Jat Rajasthan Jat ....
 
Gaurav you are right brother, everybody say ppl are jealous of jats and they hate them but we do have problems with us and unfortunately these shortcomings are glorified most of the times examples
i have heard many a times my freinds
1. bhai hum na mante kisi ki baat ,hum to jat hai.........this leads to glorification of breaking rules.


2.yaar tu kaisa jat hai shraab nahi pitta......( new generation i think don`t even know what past was everybody used to look down upon alcholic ppl and non vegetarians, ppl from jat community mostly influenced by ARYA SAMAJ movement must be very sad to see all this)


these are some most common things each one of us must have faced.i think the best traits of being jat is believing in simple living and high thinking ,knowing what rural India (as Gandhi ji has also said real India is in villages).

coming to your last line i think the moment we become chauvinistic we start to destroy our unity......proudness in our area or place is very good but we should not make it a matter above jat unity.irony is that even on this forum sometimes things like this crop up but over all it good that ppl are much closer than before.
due to this particular reason on national level in spite of numbers we have no clot at all in politics.....if you see other communities they are much more integrated irrespective of their geographical realities
 
Good points raised but how that Unity could be achieved remains a big question or on what issue and object to unite! Without well defined aim, object and goal to ne achieved no unity could be achieved.
 
United we rise - Divided we fall .

Most common issue- Being non-acceptable . It is always hard for us to accept our issues , mistakes , different views and we r kinda blunt as well which is considered to be rude
 
i do understand this is a difficult thing to do ...... b united on the basis of development progress ... highlight good traits in us ... n slowly remove bad ones obviously we cant change everyone but we can try to change atleast people who are in touch ........
