S.Singhji, baat to "expression" ke hai na, that also for someone special.

Arunji, Naaraz kyu hote ho. I just experssed my views on somone's view related to customs, traditions values. I just didnt mention the name ok
I read your article, that I also know, but tell me what is relation of that article with customs traditions values of which some people talk about. Which I have mentioned in my article even.
Baat ghuma phira kar phir wahi aa jati hai money, commercialization, marketing strategies etc. etc etc etc ………….. Aur phir insan paisa kamata hai aapne lieye.Jahan tak berojgari kee samasya hai wo wahi ke wahi hai there is no difference ke log bahar jaiye ya yahi rahe. Jitne logo ko rojgar milta hai utne hi line laga ke rojgar ke liye khade hai.
Jahan tak mere khayalat ka sawal hai how do u know mere kya khayalat hai.thora bhaut likhne se khayalat ka pata nahi chalta.I have just commented my views to the views of people or u can say I have just replied to that. thats all.

Anyways There is no end to these discussions.

yaar ye jo culture/fest. naam ki cheez hai ...kahin defind nahi hai......jab jayda se jayda log ek cheez ko support karne lag jaate hain....to vo culture baan jaata hai.......
pahle kuch logon ko laga ki laga hame diwali/holi manani chahiye.....dheere -2 aur logon ko bhi ye thik lagne laga........phir isae dharam kai saath jod diya aur ye indian culture main shaamil ho gaya.....

abhi kuch logon ko lagta hai ki hame V-day,X-day celebrate karna chahiye.....aur agar maas ko ye thik laga to ye bhi valid ho jaayega...aur ho sakta hai baad main iske saath kisi dharmic ghatna ko bhi jod diya jaaye ...jaise ki is din shri raam nai pahli baar sita ko dekha tha ya phool diya tha:D ya isi din se shri krishan ka radha ji kai saath prem shuru hua tha ....... aur tab ye bhi hamare culture main shaamil ho jaayenge......

abhi isi weekend hamare ghar main ek hawan tha......vo hamare ek guru ji nai kiya tha...jo ki arya samaji hain......unki kuch baatein mujhe bahut sahi lagi....
jaise unhone kaha ki manushe ki jivan ek nadi kai saman hona chahiye jo raaste main aaye usae apnaye aur aage badhti chale......agar haam apne aap ko ek cheez kai saath baandh kai rakhte hain to hamari halat talab jaise ho jaayegi....jisme dheere-2 gandgi ikadhi honi shuru ho jaayegi.......:)

so chill out man.....jo acha lage usae apnao......jo na lage usae chodo aur aage badh jaayo ....par valid reason hona chahiye ek hame vo kyon ganda laga....isliye nahi ki ye hamare culture kai khilaf hai....ya kuch bhi change ho to hame uske against hona hi hai.....

What a pity, een angrejan ne mhari roti aur halwe ka bhi na bera aur hum unke gobar nai bhi chaat chaat khagye. Apne festival kad ayen aur kad chale gye kise nai nahi bera pat ta par Valentine Day ka intjaar 3 mahine pahle se hi karne lag jate hain. "Mera desh mahan aisa hi chalta rahya to sharmayega shaitan". God bless our present day laila majnus.

Respected Sir,

You have evry right to express your thoughts. But i expected some decent words from you instead of these type of words. As what type of language a person uses in a debate is the mirror image of that person.

No comments for V-day ....apni apni choice hai....
but what you are saying about people living in USA and their love towards the country...I have a little objection...

pahale toh aap ye link padho, aapko pata chalega ke NRI india me kitna paisa bhejte hain...
http://ia.rediff.com/money/2005/dec/08remit.htm?q=tp&file=.htm

aur paisa kamane ke liye aadmi ghar se bahar jate hee hain....isme burai kya hai....agar jayda log bahar aayenge toh desh me berojgari kee samasya kam hogi......;) agar koi aadmi Delhi se Bangalore service karne jata hai toh uska Delhi ke liye love kam ho jata hai kya??????? this does not a lot of sense to me that if you love your country why do you go to USA......

Valentine day manane ke saath saath thoda apne khayalat ko bhee modern kijiye...

Abhee bhee agar USA walon se koi dikkat hai toh aapki marji....

Hi Arun,

No objection for the NRI people. They are doing great job indeed.

The point is that if our people can go abroad and mixed up there why some people trying to stop Indian celebrating some days which are supposed to be their customs. Everybody has right to adopt or reject any custom. Why some people trying to impose their thoughts on others by critisizing in that indecent language.

That's all.

Dear Reena,

You have every right to object to language. But I stick to it. It's not that I have anything against VDay. I am very much in USA and have seen people celebrating VDay in US too. Here, I or my sons don't celebrate VDay but definitely celebrate our own festivals. Exactly a month ago we had celebrated sakrant and enjoyed desi ghee ka choorma. Here VDay is celebrated in true sense. People here celebrate it with love, decently and in full knowledge of their parents. There was hardly noticeable here. Whereas in India Vday means something else. On this day indecency is at its peaks. Those who disagree, go to Connaught Place or Chankya cinema next VDay and see yourself how young kids, barely 15 years behave publicly. VDay is for expression of love. I admit it is a good thing to let the other partner know about one's feelings. But crossing the limits of decency is no expression of love. Let's face the truth. Parents of how many Vday celebrators in India know about the boy friends of their daughters or vice versa. In USA people visit each other's house to present flowers. Why can't they do this in India? Because they know from their hearts that it is not our festival and is totally against our culture. Still they don't want to lag behind in proving their ultra modernism. It's not love but sheer "pakhand" and "dhong".

Incidently, this epidemic has not spared even the so called modern jats. I wonder how many of them know about sakranti, teej and googa festivals, leave alone their knowledge of seedha or kothli !!!

Respected Sir,

What you think ? The happenings at Connaught Place or Chanyka cinema is due to V - day. I don't think so. these things happens there rest 364 days of the year too.

This V - day is not responsible for that. You said that they are mostly very young. Whom are you blaming for that. You can't blame V - day or western culture. The people to blame for that is their parents and teachers. They don'e even try to teach them their Sanskars. Parents don't have time for their kids. Even parents don't care where were their young son or daughter the whole night because they themselves were busy in parties.

You said that your son don't celebraete V - day. It's because you had time for your son to teach your sanskars and values.

In india, mostly in metros, life is totally different. The mature genreation is leading by example by involving themselves in late night parties. What do u expect from their teenage childrens ? Their favourite place is connaught Place and Chanyka cinema. Their parents are responsible for that not V - day.

Now, on the new generation knowing about their festivals. My views are same, the knowledge of festivals and traditions should be provided by their own parents. Do you think, TV and movies can teach them about Sakrant and Teez . I don't think so sir. Only parents can do that. If they are not letting them know their festivals who is to blame for ?

Valentine Day

If somebody believe that celebrating V- day is no problrm that doesn't mean that they are thinking of going to connaught place of Chanyka cinema. It can be just wishing each others. If two people are in love and they confess that on valentine day for any reason what is wrong with that ?

Summary of my Valentines Day!

Came back from work at 8 in the morning.

Yelled a little on Jatland.com and checked emails. Went to bed at 9

Got up at 1.

Had Classes from 2 to 6 30 PM.

Was too tired for Gym. Still strolled around checking out the ladies. ;) All of em were single for sure, since the Gym was empty for a tuesday, and all those who were hooked up had dates.

Had a lengthy shower and a quick dinner.

Back to work at 11.

Nothing diffferent about it. Now if everyone who is deviating from the topic will shut up, we can talk about something else.

Dear all,
Celebrating any day or another is a personal choice and anybody should not try to impose his/her thoughts on others. If you don't like, its ok but let others celebrate it b'coz they find it worth celebrating.
As far as the love expression day or 'valentine's' day is concerned it was also celebrated in our ancient times as 'madanotsav'. you can find it somewhere in Chanakya era or may be before that. I read about 'Madanotsav' in Maurya era history and a 'play' that was a text book in school times.
so don't make it a big issue. today we are running after the west and their culture, anbody is untouched by this.
I liked the discussion but the language used by some members was not upto the mark and could have been avoided. we are here to discuss things and to ourelves not to oppose others views.

now , valentines day is over............i would like to ask valentines enthusiasts...... did u get ur valentine ? anybdys there ?
