Dear all of you
Have you seen the movie VEER ZARA?
If your answer is yes then tell me are you considering this movie as a legend love story? If your answer is no then without taking much more time you should go to theater to watch this legend story of love.
 
bhai mukesh veer zara is just another shah rukh movie (buddhe ke role mein total comedian lag raha tha). you better watch mughal-e-aazam or pakeeza.

aaj kal to 100 days hone par hi movie ko hit maan lete hai ya jis din uski cost recover ho jaye tab. Silver jubilee to purana formula hai

"100 Days" .......ho sakta hai 13 saal pehla katthey dekh lee ho ;)

Bhai dharmpal apne ush budhe ke role maie chipa dard nai deka hai sayad. us role se sharukh yeh batana chata tha ki kesi bi muskil ko haste haste jhelo. muglae azam ek achi film hai apne jamane ki. lekin present ki baat kare to mujhae veer zara jaisi acchi movie aajtak nai deki hai. bhut hi nice movie lagi maie ise three time dek chuka hoo.

mera ghar piprali road par hai.

aur rahi baat khan sahab ki to mein yehi kah sakta hun ki you have not seen enough good movies. mein bhi tumhari tarah khan sahab ki prashanshak tha DDLJ dekhne ke baad. lekin problem ye hai ki use aur koi acting aati hi nahin....ek hi cheez cut-paste karke har movie mein.
waise bura maan ne wali koi baat nahin hai ...apni-apni pasand hai. waise kuch acchi pictures ke naam mein bata deta hun
mughal-e-aajam,pakeeza, kaagaz ke phool (or any guru dutt movie), do beegha zameen
in newer movies - dil chahta hai, hera pheri, lakshya.
few iranian movies like children of heaven, color of paradise, baran. and a lot of other foreign movies - il postino, wild strawberries, most of the hitchcock movies. actually i am forgetting a lot others but for starting these are good. at least hindi pictures to sikar mein dekh hi sakte ho.
 
Veer-Jaara

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to wait for movies to become hits and than watch them....is like saying I am one of the crowd !
I think Veer-Jaara holds a place with the Legends. The music is great (salute to the Late Madan Mohan-30 years after his death) direction wonderful and scenery breath-taking. Besides being an excellent love-story touches on a lot of social issues like India-Pakistan being the same, the young generation having morals and fighting for the rights of others etc. The youth can take home something. This is one movie I can/will see again.
I cant sit through the typical Indian movies where they take you for fools-just dont have that sort of time.
Mughle-e-Azam and Pakeezah are two more movies I have seen over and will. Infact, waitng to see the latest version of Mughle-e-Azam (colored). All that splendour in color!!
I am listening to Veer-Jaara's music right now and feel it is an equal to these two other legends.

Aur Bhi Gum Hain Zamane Main 'Veer Zaara' ke Siwa...

I don't think you have to see a movie, a Shah Rukh Khan at that, to understand that 'Har Mushkil Hanste Hanste uthai chhahiye'. If someone is really interested in seeing how families after families are facing REAL LIFE challenges, my advice would be to look at our less fortunate brothers and sisters in the villages. You could even experience it in your own families where the well to do have forgotten about their kith and kin. Why spend 300 rupees on a movie to experience how it feels to 'jhelo dukh'. Let us ask our elders as to how much pain and sacrifices it took for them to get us where we are. And also let us ask ourselves as to what extra efforts we make in our daily lives to show our love and care for them.

By the way I have nothing against those who have seen and enjoyed this movie. I am a movie freak myself.

yes you are absolutly right. i am fully agreed with you. i have not found such kind of good movie in recent five year. it is really a nice movie. it is a first movie after five year that you can watch with your family. warna ajkal to sab ke sab producer nudity parosne maie lage hai.

I haven't seen the movie, but would like to comment on 'india pakistan being the same', I think its better to ask the opinion of the family members of our brave soldiers who died defending kargil. I can guess the crap this movie will show, about india-pakistan unity/peace etc. which is offcourse, not possible!!

I guess there are two reasons for this movie being hit:
first, this is a srk movie, and so thanks to all those crazy guys who spent 300 rs just for srk !!

and second and the most important, this is the only 'family' movie out of the all the recent releases. Offcourse, it would definitely have typical romantic masala, songs and rona thona. Anyway thats my views !!!

I fully agree with abhishek bhai, this movie had only real good music. SRK looks funny trying to act as if he is very old man with shaking hands.

but I think, its time when we want to see something different. All our movies contains anti Pakistan dialogue only here for a change something new has been experimented. I know some people will disagree with me, saying remember what happened at kargil.
But I feel people both sides wants peace and they are not bothered about issues which our politicians keep on raising from time to time. With me three Pakistani students are studying and I find no difference between them and us.
We all went to see veer zaara together and they liked it very much. I think yash chopra knows how to do business as this movie is generating huge money in India as well as Pakistan :) :)
I will say this movie has been made not for love for good business that’s all. So go watch and listen to its good music and enjoy.
 
Film is stupid.

Very silly ending.

Only good thing is the songs. "Aisa Desh Hai Mera" is the best, with a cameo from legendary Punjabi Jat icon, Gurdas Mann (also of 'Haryaane Kaa Jaat' fame).

Film I am waiting for is "1857:The Rising" starring Amir Khan. He is India's best actor, and the film content looks appealing.

I have seen the movie,it's was not that bad,at least the storyline was not predictable.To me ,it's okay for one time, can't see it second time.
