Hi everyone,
I log in on Jatland on a daily basis to do my normal moderator duties and to checkup on regular activities at the site. In the past, several people have complained about how Jatland has becoming boring or stagnant and I pay special attention to such complaints, always thinking of how to keep a good flow going. Well, today when I logged in, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Pretty much every section of Jatland had a new thread in it! :)

While it may not seem like a big thing at first, it does have an underlying meaning behind it. It means that people are coming online, sharing ideas, making points and counter-points, laughing in the humor section or talking about educational & carrier oriented topics, talking about sports or sharing technical tips with others. We have grown at a fast and furious rate this year with almost 400 new and valid entrants every month (there are about 200 or so fake/invalid credential accounts that we prohibit from ever entering). Our overall membership has crossed 14000 members with about 2000 being active. Several of you have found matches from the matrimonial section of Jatland! This platform provides people to come together and discuss Jat related issues like no other.

I believe all of this proves that Jatland is indeed alive and kicking and it's all because of you, the members of Jatland. Thank you! I look forward to hearing your ideas on this topic and here's hoping to see the next 14000 members coming at an even faster pace.

Reason for jatland been boring is that only few threads are getting locked and deleted. So members are not getting place to shout and take their frustratoins out. So we need few Albadi moderators to keep members busy.:rock

Hello Satyeshwar , any regular member/visitor will get the same feeling as you are :) I felt the same in t he last few days , indeed a refreshing change. And one very important reason behind the same is the work of the admin staff. As i have always reiterated tough decisions might not look so great at the start but they have positive results in the long run. Maintaining the decorum even if some touch stan ds need be taken is one such thing. I have faith in the admin staff and you guys are doing a great job. Ofcourse there are always room for improvement , involvement of mods in the discussion (Sitaram Ji already do that , I saw Ravi's posts , yours as well , so i guess you guys are already on the move) and more innovative ideas coming from the admin staff itself are perhaps something that you can work on.

Thanks to Admin and Mods, Mujhey aaj tak ease koi dusri site nahi dikhai dee hai jahan per sbhayta ka bahut had tak dhyan rakha jata hai or koi aaptijanak photos ya coments pass kerna sahan nahi kiya jata.

It means 35000 persons visited the site in a month.

Average view per day is about 1200 persons

No. It means 35000 VIEWS in a month. 1 person can 'view' this website any no. of times in a day.
Sure, its a big number.

For the Admins and Moderators

I have probably repeated this before on the forum itself but let me try it again. Since we have new moderators so let us see what's their view point is on this matter.

Today I just went to the very first threads on the general section and found the below link. ( Thread dates back to 2001).

I myself have seen similar requests in the last few years but nothing practical came up.

Attraction for others also

Now Jatland Wiki is attracting attention of others, especially in regard to some on-line books which are available at our site. Some of these have been posted on Wikisource.org, after copying from Jatland. In recent past, I have converted some Hindi books into Wiki format and uploaded on Jatland Wiki. Converting Devnagri script into digital format is rather difficult, compared to Roman (English). Last week, I have received the following message from one person from Punjab.

But I am not sure whether Jatland discussion forums are also heading for popularity. Here, apart from good discussions, some leg-pulling etc. is also noticed which may perhaps be distasteful for other readers.

Jatland is more interesting to others . I hardly visit others site 4-5 times in a month. but on Jatland my active level is about 45. Its only for Jats and non Jats can't join if they do . I think every month 10000-20000 new users join it

Jatland all section are beautiful . Users put every day many things .....leg pulling is so interesting part.
Jatland users bhi Acche hai per kuch bhut Acche ...
