I guess Indian fans in general are emotionally weaker than the cricket team of India and they seek strength through putting the team down where ever they can. I wonder how many of us really enjoy the beauty of the game regardless of who wins (OR LOSES)

Sir ji mainne match ke result ki baat nahin kahi...mainne Yuvraj ki balling ki baat krri thi aur BCCI ki politics ki baat krri thi...aur mein abb bhi wahi keh raha huun.............No big deal winning a match really.

i have to say something sir. of course they have overcome that score...but just to lose in final, as usual. and these 2 matches were also toiled by team india just because of the scrutiny there were attracting one defeat after another...that's too un-palyed defeat most times
But Sir, why do you want to support the wrong move to bring Yuvraj for the last over when Dravid had other options? Even Agarkar/Ganguly would have avoided such a situation.
By overcoming this score, they showed their batting skills but should admit the mistakes made when they were bowling.
Darvid also accepted that it was a bad decision to give last over to Yuvraj. I think, as a captain, you have to take some risk and some time they go against you. I support Darvid for his decision.

Credit for Dimi he cleared everything. After the first second one I thought there might be a top edge but I gave up after the third one."

I think we need to see the game in the spirit of the game. So long an honest effort is made to achieve the victory, that itself is more than a victory. Giving up half way or playing defensively is not in the best interest of the game.
While Dinesh Karthik did fairly well with the bat during the test series, I failed to understand he getting a nod over Uthappa who was selected for one day series only. He is a natural opener and thus should have been given chance earlier. Good thing is that he is there now. When the score is near to 300 mark, and the opposition has wickets in hand, then last over by any bowler may result in a lot of runs. I think Dravid answered that question. To me, we need to have players who are not only good batsman or bowler, they are also to be excellent fielders. We do need couple of all rounders. We don't need two wicketkeepers in the side.
With that in mind, I think some of the new faces selected for 20/20 should make it to the one day team. I would definitely like to have players like Sehwag and Suresh Raina in the team.

As said already by one of the worth members that cricket fans are more emotionally weak and that is why i believe there is such hue and cry in country . Its a game and ultimately the spirit of game should not be lost.
Everybody knows of England's not so prowess against spinners and no body can forget the SAchin's heroics in Hera Cup , 93 where in the final over he gave <4 runs to win a match and things like giving bowling to parttimers in final overs have been going in the past! [
] And there is literally no surity that powar , sachin would not have gone on to give same runs !
It was a gamble and if chawla would not have let the first six , might be we could have finished the over with 7-8 runs !
And also as pointed out by one of the worth members , we must give credit to the batsman as well . If Zaheer can hit Olonga to 4 sixes in the final over and we be so happy about it , it can get back some day
The important was to not to loose faith and come out firing and that was what exactly they did.
the success would not have been that sweet as it turned out to be.
Offocourse i am not suggesting that everytime we should make it difficult for us
but yes at times such things do happen and we got to take it in our stride !vairesatendra

BCCI has been awarded the grounds by SAI and the revenue goes to BCCI, not the GOI. And If any case goes to the court, BCCI says that we are a private organisations and govt cant rule us. If it is so, then y dont BCCI make their own grounds.
