Want a Good Job as A Veterinarian

I have completed my B.V.Sc & A.H. degree from G. B. Pant university of Ag. & Tech, Pantnagar, India in 2003. Presently I am doing my postgraduation (Masters of Veterinary Sciences) in Epidemiology from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, India which is going to be complete in 2005. So, I am searching a job to serve my profession at my best

How about if some of you vets join hands and start a modern veterinary hospital ? May be you can have a veterinary college also side by side at some later date. Think seriously Amit. This is the way to go these days..If this trigers your imaginations and dreams, write to me..I will join hands with you on this project..

This is really a nice sugestion, because my many batchmates has started this in Delhi or Gurgaon. We can have this together because one vet i know he is having 4 Vet clinic in Delhi even dog breeder r runing clinic in delhi than we are Vet we can certainly do better. Think seriously, u dont know the top vet practioner in delhi is also a jat i. e. Dr. Rana others r Dr. Mahindran, one in Alaknanda i forget his name he doing govt job in haryana and simultaneosuly practicing in delhi too. one ,more thing around 40 % practioner in Delhi are Jats. so dont demand job be like that u can employ somebody.

what ever you said is true doc but things are changing now.....:rolleyes:
and you know it quite well.but in all the trend setter tekes the ride and its really a paying job after a few years.
all u have to do is patiently practice honestly.
By the way you are also doing gud doc.
Secondly joining hands with collegues or fellow vets makes sense but is not a practical idea as the output is really low initially for few years and the project requires huge investments.
No doubt the leading practioners in delhi are JATS, and i have been associated with all of them. but again in INDIA the things are not working out the waay they shud be.....
