RATIONALE: WHY I CREATED THIS POLL
I have seen many post at JL that seem to promote more rights and entitlements for Jat even at the cost of others.
I do not doubt their love for nation and their good intentions for the upliftment of Jat community. But still makes me wonder if for these people put caste above nation or may be they are not aware in order to garner more entitlements for Jats they are INADVERTENTLY playing a dangerous game of divisive caste-based politics or activism which in my view is anti-nation.
I hope they will see this myopic conflict in their ideology and soften/polish it to eliminate that divisive casteist and aggressive strain from their ideology, for I believe these passionate people can be more productive and contributing to the nation and Jat tribe by being more egalitarian and fair to other communities. They can then champion furtherment of Jat community without hogging the resources for Jats alone. Rather, ask for a fair and inclusive system for all communities where Jats can compete fairly on merit only.
I have left out humanity as an option, assuming you all will put humanity above all other options, at least in theory or ideology, if not in practice. Though, I have come across people from other religions who have put religion above humanity. They usually put Religion, Humanity and then country as preferences.
Your tips and discussion is welcome, specially on
A. How to avoid the singular Jat casteist ideology and tunnel vision
B. How to resolve and balance conflicting aspects of identity: religion, region, caste, nation, etc
C. Advancement of Jat tribe without trying to snatch or encroach others equal rights.
D. Inclusive development of Jats without being casteist.
Thanks.
PS: Please, do not merge this poll with other polls if they are similar. Merge only if it is SAME. Hope, difference between SIMILAR and SAME is clear to the moderator who in the past incorrectly merged my previous poll without even consulting me. I appreciate the efforts of unpaid volunteer Moderators who passionately contribute lot of time to run the JL. I do empathise with you that being a moderator is a difficult, thankless, unpaid and hard-to-please-every-one kind of role. I still request you to please continue to raise the bar for yourself, and sure please keep reminding us to adhere to those standards to improve the user experience for all. It is a collective responsibility of us all. I will try to do my part, every is always welcome to inbox me whenever I fail. Many thanks.
