Yesssss!!! Rain!!!... How I love it when it rains. Has the love got to do something with my name? Maybe, I won’t deny, for I love it since I can remember, for I have dreamt of sitting in the room with glass ceilings on a rainy day, snuggled with my laptop sipping hot tea in hand since forever and still do.

Oh yes, I do like getting wet in rain, sometimes!!!

In Southern Africa, it’s a spectacular sight all together when it rains and yesterday wasn't so different when it rained hard, really hard and was accompanied with its best friend - the wind and the lightening. What a spectacle it was! What a delight it was! My heart was filled with awe. My son was jumping in the house, and I was pleasantly surprised with his cooing away, or may be because of some other reason? I don’t know. He was wondering if I had seen rain for the first time. Well the answer is yes and no. No because it’s obvious, yes because each time this natural phenomena called "rain" happens, it brings with it freshness, a purifying feeling. Washing away everything that it needs to, trees, leaves, roads, cars and most important, our worries and pains embedded deep in the heart. It seems that the falling rain and the accompanying breeze are just lifting you away. They take you away from the monotony of life, rustling your hair, swishing against your face, if you get to sit by an open window or your balcony.

And there it goes... a lightening struck somewhere, as the darkest corridors in my home were struck with this awesome light of GOD. The sound was so frightening and deafening that it scared the hell out of my son as he ducked into my lap, feeling embarrassed later on as I laughed and laughed, almost out of my wits. Next morning I realized that my modem blew off, and so did gadgets of other people in our neighborhood.

Haven't so many people written poems on rain? Haven't so many movies shot their most romantic scenes in rain? Haven’t the kids been shown to enjoy the maximum when being soaked in rain? It’s PURE MAGIC, out of this world.

I leave it at that...keep bhigiiiiing! And post in your rain experiences!

God bless...

PS: Did I forget to mention the beautiful sound that touches your soul??

Really Good Thread

When my mom dad are happy because of something I did .. I become happy..sometimes too happy to be in tears :):)

When something is done by me (daring hi sahi jo baaki na kar rahe hon .. kya farc padta hai types | i guess u get the message here |) I become happy ..

When I watch some kids playing traditional kids' games (neither video games nor playing with damm mobile phone) instead playing pithhu, rope jumping .. rare to c .. I become really happy.

When my wife smiles from heart .. (not to show that .. look I smiled) .. I become happy.

When I listen to songs like (Jaane kyun log mohhabat kiya karte hain .. | every young guy listens to this song when he likes someone in his school class |) today it seems funny but I still manage to smile ...

Well many more .. but I m neither a writer nor I have a great dictionary of words .. so . thats it for now !!

talking and listening are two aspects tht make a conversation complete. when i say I’m talking to the nature… i’m listening to:

… the chattering of birds, finding nestling place for the night…
… the howling of winds, piercing a hole in the air…
… the dewdrops falling in the calm tranquility of the night…
… the erratic flight of a butterfly soaring up and down…
… the raindrops falling like a million dew kissed stars…
… the rainbow glimmering in the horizon…
… the screeching of owls at the fall of night (in africa i hear them everyday)…
… the countless clouds in the sky floating on their many, invisible, moving tracks…
… the mother nature's gentle caress when the soft wind gushes by my ears…

all round nature whispers and sings/talks to me of her secrets and joys, and when i listen to these songs of nature… in fact i’m talking to the nature.
:)

yunki lagta hai kaffi kam baate karne ki aadat hai apko :D

सूखी मिटटी में पानी का छिडकाव करना मुझे अच्छा लगता है... उस मिट्टी की वो भीनी भीनी खुशबू always gives me a nostalgic feeling of yester years. :):):)

I love being in the vicinity of nature and it makes me happy...outdoor sports too make me happy and above all winning them makes me even more happy.:) Getting wet in the rains and listening to music are so very soothing. All these things provide joy and happiness.

i talk to the entire spectrum range of VIBGYOR starting from 400 to 700 nm that fall in the visible range of electro-magnetic spectrum :):):)

violet emitted at 421nm
indigo at 444nm
blue at 520nm
green at 540nm
yellow at 620nm
orange at 640nm
red at 680nm
