Nice and true verse vikas.
Every loss reminds us the almighty that does exists.
Everyone who comes, has to leave one day or another. Only memories are left behind.

Hooda saab, may god almighty grant peace to the departed soul. may be we can't share ur grief but can stand togather with you in this difficult time.

Godd bless all.

thanks dev dahiya ji,

Yes Jyoti Ma'm i can understand the ever lasting pain of loosing a precious relative. But that is what life is? god has its own way of making us realize that he exists and he does no wrong, though it appears to us that He had been so cruel to us in those circumstances. Total surrender to him is the only answer. We should never forget him and should do nothing immoral/decietful in our entire life that we have an agonising existence.Only truthful people can be happy inside, irrespective of where the world is going or will go. Do good to all living beings, without prejudice and without a qualm about return of favours. Life is a complex matter but if we can keep our heart clean always a major battle is won. accepting whatever he does with folded hands is the only way to avoid suffering in silence as we can never undo, whatever he does. God bless!

very touching verse Vikas. I lost my daadi (who was a dear soul) while I was away. I have never felt as bad in my life that I was not there when she went but then I remembered her words which she used to say every time we used to meet 'beti mere jaan pe roiyyo mat' and I understood what she said only when she went away not while she was saying it.

Shailendra, i know words are never enough, but please accept my condolences for your loss. I cant believe I'm saying this (an unemotional person that i'm) but People whom you love will always live in your heart.

Priti and Jhakar ji, thanks for both of your kind words... (believe me they help, specially more so coming from people I have never met... but who still feel the need to add their condolences and good thoughts) the concern feels more than genuine and is very touching.... thanks guys!

When tomorrow starts without me,

And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes

All filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn't cry

The way you did today,

While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,

As much as I love you,

And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me,

Please try to understand,

That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,

And said my place was ready,

In heaven far above,

And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,

A tear fell from my eye

For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.

I had so much to live for,

So much left yet to do,

It almost seemed impossible
That I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,

The good ones and the bad,

I thought of all the love we shared,

And all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,

Just even for a while,

I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized,

That this could never be,

For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things,

I might miss come tomorrow,

I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,

I felt so much at home.

When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity,

And all I've promised you.

Today your life on Earth is past,
But here life starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow,

But today will always last,

And since each day's the same way
There's no longing for the past.

You have been so faithful,

So trusting and so true.

Though there were times you did some things
You knew you shouldn't do.

But you have been forgiven

And now at last you're free.

So won't you come and take my hand
And share my life with me?"

So when tomorrow starts without me,

Don't think we're far apart,

For every time you think of me,

I'm right here, in your heart.

This is the real life and we have to face it.

Very True! Choice now is not whether to live to face it or not but how to face it. But no doubt the strength of your character is reflected through the way you are trying to come out of such a tragic situation!

Rathee Sahab, you deserve to be commended for initiating this thread. The title itself is catching as also the contents--not only your own but all that followed. Did you notice absence of any controversy-- a usual phenomenon on jatland threads!

Anyway thanks for what triggered everybody's emotions!

Well boldly to say that i didn't expected this type of thread from Vikas ever. Really Vikas i can't flatter anybody on this planet but man you really did an excellent posting there and deserve the appreciations.

Keep it up Man !!!!!!!!
