Hello JAT DOSTO........

I liked the comments and threads posted here......everyone discussing +ves and -ves

Actually, I am seeking advice from all who can do it seriously..................

I born and brought up in Delhi and currently in Sydney.

I am planning to go back with my Family in India and settling down there (probably after 5 yrs or so.....determined ...............so no question of not returning back)

Firstly, I am concerned about education for my kids . (Extra curricular activites like Basket ball and swimming pool are plus in the area)

So that needs-
Schools
plus locality where I live...

I know Delhi boasts heaps of nice Schools ...........I will choose Bal Bharti Public School Pitampura Delhi....
Hence, if anyone can suggest areas around it which are good enough to live with budgeted living.

In Bahadurgarh, I read many school names but not sure of their ranks and how good they are..........
Also, how about living there, I want to live in an area where parents are working hard to make the kids a bright educated citizen instead of just feeding them so they can fight.(excuse me here but that is common)
Which area that contains educated people around.............I see upcoming Sec-2 is a good option.

Second thing is I am an IT Professional and will probably need to work in either of Gurgaon/Noida/Delhi

Which place will have better connectivity.......

Dil Se Sabhi Dosto Ka Dhanyavad!

Mr. Ahlawat

Sahi kaha bhai Delhi is better in connectivity, Electricity, Safety(comparision to noida ,Gurgaon), Education, etc etc...........
Bas thoda sa liviing cost jyada ho jata hai in comparison to B'garh.............

Dehli is any day and everyday in all respects, like education, sports, safty, quality of life, communications, service, social life, business, connections, cost of living etc, is much batter. Bahadurgarh inany case no place to settle down.

Ahlawat ji, Faridabad is good and upcomming City. In five years it will have better connectivity with Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida. It has best schools which may suit your requirements and still has better law and order and cheapest property at present. Just explore!

Dhanyavaad Sabhi Jat Dosto Ka .......Saurabh, Raj, Fateh and Ranjit for your inputs.

Which place in Rohini is good around Bal Bharti Public School Pitampura Delhi within my Budget.................
...
I know Ashok Vihar but cannot afford to buy there.........

Near-by areas of Delhi have their own plus-minuses and Delhi has its own. All parts of Delhi are not good to reside. Some areas sink in water in rainy season. Some has water supply, power supply, filth, traffic jam like problems. I think best parts to live in Delhi now-a-days are Rohini and Dwarka (though there may be more). Water supply is superb in Rohini as Hyderpur water plant is situated here. Roads, parks, market, locality, power supply, security etc. are also good. The standard of living seems higher in Dwarka, but I have heard from many that there is a very bad water supply, though society flats promise to provide unbarred water and power supply. If one has the total budget of 1 & half crore or more (which I don't have:o) then life will roll like wheel in Delhi...

Ahlawat bhai since you work in I.T., so it is highly unlikely that you are going to get a job / or set up IT related business in Bahadurgarh. I'd recommend residing as close as your workplace. Let me give you an example to make things more clear.
Suppose you commute to and from work daily and spend atleast an hour each way (around Delhi region it can be atleast 90 mins). This makes 2 hours of commuting wasted every single day i.e. 10 hrs per week and 40 hours a month. Roughly speaking, you will waste 4 working days in a month commuting to work.
However, several individuals may have different opinions depending on their circumstances, such as rental cost, schooling etc etc.

WOW thinking of moving 'in' India in 5 YEARS time....AND you want people to decide where you should live ....hahaha awesome !

you are brought up in Delhi..great ! how you want +ves and -ves to be listed : points or tabular form.

Bahadurgarh is better place due to following reasons

1. It takes hardly 45 minutes to reach centeral Delhi which is next to impossible from anywhere in NCR and most ofplaces in delhi .
evel of water is below 250 whereas it crosses 1500 in some places of delhi. Source of water is canal water not treated sewage.
3. Pace of life is little slow as compared to rest of NCR.
4. Metro will arrive soon.
5. Good Parks and Developed sectors are less crowdy.
6. 4-5 engineering colleges at close proximity.
7. New KMP express way will make drive from Bahadurgarh to Manesar hardly 30 minutes which is much faster then from any location in Gurgaon.
8. Cost of living is same as compared to rest of NCR but quality of living is superior from rest of places

@ Ranjit Singh dahiya : sir next 5 years main to bahtu kuch bada jayega.
what matters is bacche..baccho ke liye dekhi best suitable rahega yahan se Gurgaon direct metro hai and Noida ke liye new wxpressway(which i use for updown daily)

@ Barham Ahlawat :- bhai who told u to buy?(if you want to buy there are few appts in rohini sectors which can grow 30 to direct 50 or 60 lakhs direct 50% profit)
First take it on rent..then think abhee your family is not that big.
and i will give you few numbers you can contact them to gt good rent/buy property.
we would wecome you with wholeheartedness :)

@ vivek Pannu: very right but hum sab bhee updown karte hi hain daily but
its awsom to be wd our gang at the end of the day who help us in social, political and every issues.

@ Rakesh : you are elder to me,but yahan brotherhood ki baat mat karna sara delhi aala kunba choo main aajaga .(just kidding)
we all r here bro.we r the young generation with good contacts.tomorrow we all would grow at better position.
we are very much aware of the loop holes of delhi gvt systems.we can help eachother when needed.
we all are into diff depts of delhi gvt.our group is the best one.its our "brotherhood"
if one more bro will come then it would make us(you and my group) more powerful.
haan ye aapki baat bilkul theek hai and i support it that New KMP express way will make drive from Bahadurgarh to Manesar hardly 30 minutes but Delhi is Delhi :)
Electricity,Powersupply is better in delhi.
4. Metro will arrive soon in bahadurgarh but KAB when???inn sab cheezo main time lagega bade bhaiya.investment ke liye kuch theek scope hai wahan.
i have invested in FBD but itna acha growth nahi hua jo delhi main hai.these are personal practical experiences.

Regards,
Jaglan.

Metro is hardly 10 minutes drive from Bahadurgarh NOW which is similer to any place which is just one KM from metro station in Delhi. Ar metro station pe to rehan tein rahe.
Electricity is same everywhere even after paying highest fares Delhi is struggling for electricity. Sarkar bijli bechti hai Reliance (BSES) ko aur Reliance wapas sarkar ko. Commission ki iste kardi lootmar kite nahi dekhi aur Govt. is again planning to revise terrifs. Delhi is buying electricity from Haryana Jharli plant near B'garh. I am staying there and working in Delhi so i know situation. Sectors are less crowdy beautifully developed with good exit plans. Even if there is no metro and KMP still it is best connected place to centeral delhi. Gurgaon conectivity lags without KMP but if you go from Pitmpura to Gurgaon then i feel going from Bahadurgarh is much easier it takes one hour 10-15 minutes by Haryana roadways bus. Ek halki si barish se jahan 6-6 ghante ka jam lagta hai wo Delhi hai.

Good points Rakesh. Very True to a great extent!

PS: Just wondering when KMP express way project will be finished. It has already passed the deadlines.

The roads, electricity, sanitation was much better in Bahadurgarh earlier. It has become a mess now. There seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. Municipality is non existent with dug up roads every where, stinking water lining them and heaps of filth in abundance. Law and order is non-existent and practically nothing seems to be working without money and warm proximity of the elected representatives. Two prominent schools DPS and Bal Bharti are Okay, though marginally Bal Bharti seems to be consistent and doing well. There is no greenery on roads and dust rules the sky for the most of the time. Unless Bahadurgarh has some honest and care for city MLA, the place seems to be doomed. Surprisingly the land rates seems to be sky rocketing due to deadly mix of politicians, dealers and vested interests. But, dive deeper into the dealers and one realises, it is all hype. Metro has provided some consolation, but without timelines it seems to be long shot. I have lived in this town for 30 years and though not given up on dimming hope - thinking someday its fortune will change, it has remained elusive till date. On the other hand Delhi provides home for every budget with 20-24 electricity, water, clean air, clean water and sanitation, many improvement in public amenities, roads and flyovers makes it best city in India- though far from world class.
Overall i would say dont come back, Dear, and if at all u are determined Delhi is any day better if u can afford it.

Thanks gaganjat.

One should AVOID daily travel , travelling more than 4 Km from work place (one way) on daily basis will impact ones PERFORMANCE. Impact is HUGE.

For Career Oriented IT professionals BANGALORE & Only BANGALORE should be destination in INDIA. Else foreign nation.

( Areas around old Airport HAL and Kormangala (Village - VIII for House very cheap and also National Games Village for first class apartments where judges IAS IPS resides very cheap pricewise ) are better located.

Be in Bangalore & INVEST in Coffee Agriculture Land of COORG area. Sat Sundys can be in your Coffee Farm House and workdays in city of BENGALUURUUU.
