I wanted to know the opinion of you as to which profession is best suited for jats.

Profession for JATS
Sonamji.
These days JATs are in every field but %age wise less as compared to Punjabi,sardar and other kaum's.. Baki jaunsa business ( job) falja vo hi badhiya. Nek Mehnet ka kamaya hua pissa aanta reh, profession choose karan main JAT eb kum kallee manney se.
I am not considering only urban jats..
Gavon main ja ke dekho.. sarrey bade budhey nu kehntey milengey...mhare ne lawa do .. mhare ne lawa do... balak tayyar bethe hai..... kisa bhi job ho..........3 hazzar, 4 hazaar ka ... irrespective of job...In real they are ready to do anything .... Katu satyata yeh hai ki bon ne dhartee to rahi nahi or khaan ne danney nahi, bhookey marey hain..suki marood se kab tak pet bharega..ready to work as a worker in production factory, security guard.. endless list..... Lot of Jat's on this forum falls under category of elite list who can help these guys for betterment and real uplift of JAT kaum. Serve your kunba,kaum if you can.
Decision is now with individual member.

2525 Members as of date 11/18/2004.
( 50% + Sleeping members..may be… + agar baki 10:35% ko kuch bhi laga kar chod de ???? ..)
then
If 39.65% ( Practically …doubtful ??? ) gets it REALLY materialize then 1001.65 DESI JAT family get benefited.
If we could help our these bro \ sis. it will be directly + indirectly help to 5000 JAT people ( subjected to their dependent and family members )..
Baniya ka hisab kitaab chhodoo, ek Jat agar aapney do Jarooratmand bhai \ bheno ko job (business) lagwa deta hai to hi uska jeewan safal hai.. You may also get some blunders in getting these things implemented.. Koi bhai is mukaam main shameel ho to achhey hi baat hai.

Which JOB is suited for JATS
Hi Sonam,
U r also in US. If u r asking this question on the same grounds as i sometimes ask myself then u r the best judge.
See what u want in life. Do some job or create jobs. latter one is more difficult.
Needs more of ur time. U have to be strong. Have to take more risks. More than what we take when we switch jobs in US. But i guess will give more satisfaction.
JAT or NOT ... doing something of ur own is more risky and has more returns.
Being in decent ..high cheque job is nothing great.. thats what i think.
Like i am more inclined towards doing something of my own and creating jobs for others, everybody has different liking.
Enough of lecture: In my view. Think how much risk u can take. As i say "manzile unhi ko milti hai ...jinke irado me jaan hoti hai ,pakh se nahi ...hoslon se hi udaan hoti hai"
If u wanna do job ... then see whats ur initerest is ... pursue that .. dont think how much money will it generate initially
If ur good in a field ...u can generate money like anything

It has been very rightly stated by you.
Maybe my exploration of work interest made me put up this question. Morover seeing very few jats in some profession make me think how important is the role of genetic makup in the career building. But I guess sometime it is the lack of opportunity or maybe the lack of appreciation for a certain field that might affect this statistics.
And yes I agree with you that without taking risks nothing cannot be accomplished. We tend to choose the easy options whichever are available.
But as Uday also said that sometimes it is the lack of opportunity which makes people take up any options available.

I would say, that you should do what you enjoy doing as far as selection of profession is concerned. There is no point making tonnes of money if you don't enjoy what you do. You should be feeling a willingness within to go to work every day and not a compelsion.
I really don't know what proffession suits our community most, as proffessions are not community related, but traditionally, Jats have chosen soldiering in past more than other profession after farming. Farming may be because we live in the area where probably the best land is available for farming purposes. Soldiering, probably because it is suitable for their simple nature.
The good news is that the community members can be found almost in each profession. So long you love and enjoy what you are doing, success will automatically follow, because you will then be giving your best to it.

What u need to find out your interest...may be the most difficult thing ..as per my view...still can try..
After that by firm determination..hard work..u can reach top in your field....
and it is true for all....

Thats a killing question Sonamji.
Like many suggestions indicate--it depends upon education background and other relevant contextual factors.
However, generally speaking Jats can better perform jobs those require administrative acumen and also the jobs which need versatility.
I have seen them succeding in marketing jobs also(which generally many of us would disagree to, given the little hot nature of our community).
I don't know but they can do most of the jobs.
