Which way congress will go, National interest or political interest?

So far the PM says that the 123 agreement between India and US is crucial for Indian development. Now Communist party lobbying to stop the operationalization of the deal by threatening to withdraw support will act like a litmus test for the Manmohan Singh govt.

Will congress party ignore the threat of communist and go ahead with the operationalization of the deal for national interest or will the congress party sccumb to communist pressure just to rule the country and ignore national interest?
 
First of all we would like to know the national Interest viz-a-viz 123 deal?....Communists come much later as even if they withdraw support,Govt is not going to go...it may weaken thoug.

this deal is the most important thing even happening in the history of free India. The deal hurts the most China and Pakistan and it seems our commies are fighting for them. My Gut feeling is that Government won't submit and should not submit to the pressure of communists, even if govenment falls... Our communists are nothing but Chinese agents.

The real shame is that the everyday common man really does not understand the whole gambit or real intricacies of that complete historic deal, a huge underlying reason that is now being easily and 'anti-nationally' exploited by these leftists!!!
 
It's not only the deal, even India's credibility is at stake. If this deal fails to operationlise, no country in world will take India seriously. These communists should be packed in BORIS with rotten onions and thrown into China. There seems no other way in near future to fulfill the energy demands of country other than nuclear options.

On a lighter note, once one of my professor said " Left has taken Bengal so left that it has been left behind".

and one more from me-- 'Left' is left because it's not 'right'. of course congress wont bend 2 left; bt it's nt coz of nation's interest and it's nor coz of they think d deal is a commendable step towards energy empowerment and etc., it's coz dumping d deal will b international shame and cong will lose credibility 4 future association wid US and which govt/country cn bear d brunt of US?
 
Communist Parties in India always had a dubious past.

And even if Communist parties agree to 123....China is waiting (within the NSG) to spoil the party for India.

So the agenda of the left is very clear, but in a way its good that this issue has come in the open domain.

God (which communists will never understand) works in mysterious ways.
I have full faith that India will complete this treaty and progress towards a better future.

Congress should resign from parliament.

The verdict is out- congress cares for the power, the power to rule the country not for the power to support country's growing economy. Not going ahead with the deal is pure selfishness on the part of congress party and they should better resign from the parliament on moral grounds.

Manmohan claimed- deal is crucial for the country, and now nodeal is crucial for congress to remain in power. This is the prime minister whio claimed that he will go ahead with the nuclear deal even if left pulls the majority plug down. How can we believe in a such a prime minister who just makes fake claims and reverts his stand just to satisfy his lust for power.

How stupid the PMO is-
When congress was aware of it's own castrated status, then why the Prime Minister agreed for the deal. This only make India a laughing stock at world politics.

This is the same left that criticised Atal Bihari Vajpayee for carrying out the nuclear test. Now these moron leftist are taking plea that India will not be able to carry out nuclear tests freely after the deal. What a bunch of selfish and opportunistic dogs.. In 2004 december I visited West Bengal, that state is 20 years behind Haryana and Punjab. And amazing thing is that they are supporting these left lunatics for more than 30 years.


Whatever, but Manmohan Singh made it very clear that what matters is to rule the country, the country does not matter.
