Bhai Sanjeev,

Both Jats and Rajputs. are very agressive and competitive race. Historically both have played dominent roles. Ofcourse there have been ups and dowsn with both. Lately I think Jats are the one who seem to be more agressive and dominating...I have no data to support my views and telling purely based upon lack of Rajputs I have come across in my life who have really impressed me.. Traditional strongholds of Rajputs are ofcourse over and they have to adjust to changed social circumstances. Jats seems to be more in tune with the time than Rajputs.

Both are dominating forces, but in different regions of India.

while Jats dominate in Punjab,Haryana,Western UP..cant say about Rajasthan..but in changing scenario jats are becoming more powerful in Rajasthan.8% jats are present in MP, while there are few areas in Gujarat e.g Bhuj district where jats are big landlord.

On other hand, Rajputs dominate in Eastern UP,M.P.,In bihar yadavs have become major political force after 1990.

Jats are more adaptable to present situation as compare to Rajputs .

I did not quite understand?

Dear All,
I did not quite understand the purpose of this post??? What do we mean by dominating? What is the purpose of ascertaining it? Why are we restricting ourselves to compare with only Rajputs and how does that help the community?
We call, domination if we are able to achieve some thing. Even though Jats may be a majority population in Haryana, Western UP or Punjab, but have we really dominated in these areas. How many Jat leaders have we seen in these states ruling or controlling the rulilng political parties since 1947? Barring a few terms by Jat leaders we have not had much rule by Jat communities in these areas we call that we are dominating. Ch. Charan Singh and Ch. Devilal's innings as CM in these states had been very short. Ch. Bansilal's first term as CM was the only silver lining to say the least. Rest of the leaders either had a very short term or got involved in lots of controversies related to corruption.
I had said earlier and would like to repeat again here that if we really need to dominate any thing, we need to come out of Jat cult or ism whatever we may call it and carry larger sections of the communities along with us. It is sad but true, that we are a very small community and in spite of our excellent qualities, have not been able to get our due, mainly due to our self belief of "We are the Best, rest all are no Good". We need to come out of this kind of syndrom, and start recognizing the communities and people by what they have done, rather than what caste or community they belong to.
There is a lot one can go on this subject. I request and suggestion to all members that we broaden our perspective and merit each thing on achievements rather than origin of birth.

I strongly agree wid your point of view Sir.I was wondering wat's d need to think dis way.....i mean why r we comparing us to other communties from our own country. We should think in broader perspective and instead of seeing ourselves as 'JATS' we should first realise dat first of all we are Indians.Though its good to be proud of our community but our aim is not to compare ourselves wid others rather we should make an effort to make stronger bonds wid all d communities of our country. All these kinda issues do not make sense, country's progress should be d first thing on our mind.

...Hmmm, very nicely coined! Good job...
I think and as you can see from the responses to the post (or the lack of them) that everyone kind of agrees with you already, Mansi.........

i disagree

As i m not confining our community by comapring with the rajputs and the replies i got in this thread ad totally irrelevant. What i am asking is the question which has been raising since decades and there is no syndorme is that. For every community there are phases of fluctations as for the example if we take the caste which comes in SC,ST ..it's the time them to grow and they are doing like anything because they are getting benifits of the regulation formed for them.So i want to comapre the inclination as well as declination for both the cast..For US and for Rajputs...it's simple......

Dear Mr. Katewa,

I still don't understand as to how the replies you got on this thread are irrelevent, for the replies are in consonance with your original post, unless you meant some thing else? In my earlier post first thing I had mentioned is that I quite could not understand the purpose of the post and my reply had been to the best of my ability as I could understand your post.

The question again comes of comparing the communities, with other communities. It is our self belief that we are the best that had alienated other communites from us. With us not being a majority community even in the state where we have maximum density, it is difficult for our leaders to win any elections purely on support of our community alone. Now when it comes to domination, I would say the achievements of our community in various professional or social fields. If that is what you meant in your original or subsequent post, then it should not be by comparing ourselves with any other community leave aside Rajputs alone. While our community is doing comparatively better, we still have a lot of ground to cover. Our people have talent and desire to work hard, all that is needed to have more broader vision and ability to take success and failure in our strides. Community as a whole we can be classified quite emotional. We need to be as analytical as we can, and should develop the habit of evaluating things and people based on their merit rather than their origin of birth or any other factor. If we do that, I am sure we can dominate any community, or race why alone Rajputs or any other Indian community.

Dear all,

The question who is dominating is of no consequence in the present times. Our focus should be on our community. We should watch our own steps and be careful that they are in right direction and match the pace of national development.

One can not compare them as an apple to an apple comparison !!

Both the communities have glorified past and unique identity of its own.

So it would be unwise to compare them.

what i think

i believe that this discussion has gone out of the track...better to take this thread out ...still i will keep this for 2 more to day to welcome new ideas...

It is no discussion. The question was straight forward and the answer is obvious.

Its right if we say this thread is meaningless and wont fetch us anything.

But if anyone is asking, I will say in a blink of eye 'Jats'.

This thread is a waste because we can have more than 3000 posts saying Jats are better.
