Modi has stayed in Haryana as "Prachaarak" from time to time & he knows the reality and mood of common Haryanavi. But it seems now he too is testing judgmental and analytic abilities of Shah. Shah is going to fail here-there is no doubt. Real 'fight' is between Khangress and INLD. Now the Italians are coming to Haryana. Here, a few times, people got impressed by the white skinned Italians as I heard some oldies talk " Kitni gori sai ya, arre chhoraa/chhori bi bot ghana gora jaam raakhe sai..."(Puraane log white people i.e. angrejo se impressed rahe hain)". Now it's different situation. Their coming to Haryana will definitely prove devastating to Hooda. He knows this but he is helpless. Hurrah! INLD

Chandigarh, October 1Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has asked people of the state to give a befitting reply to the BJP after its president Amit Shah repeatedly “insulted every Haryanavi by saying the Chief Minister ran his government by performing mujra in the Delhi Durbar”.
Hooda who refused to join issues with Shah said a “nervous” BJP was trying to use cheap antics to secure votes. “Everyone knows Shah’s background. So no one in Haryana takes him seriously,” Hooda said after the release of Congress manifesto here today.
He alleged that the BJP was desperate to assume power and, for this, it was employing every tactic. (This includes seeking help of people such as DP Yadav who was expelled from the BJP a decade ago over his alleged criminal background). Today, this “mafia don-turned-politician” is sharing stage with the BJP president that shows what kind of “achhe din” the BJP sees for the state.

Be what it may, the onslaught against INLD by both BJP and Congress leaders in their rallies in Haryana amply confirms their cause of fear of the support and power of this party to hold its cadres together in spite of the absence of their top leadership in the field.
In other words, INLD seems to play a big role in the state after election results are declared.

Total of likely seats comes to 80 whereas total seats are 90.
Is there some discrepancy in calculation or I have misunderstood it.

You are right in total but after 10% (+) (-) it nears to 90; range is given just to adjust
change in voters behavior after campaign
