The reported use of money power to lure the voters is a sad commentary on our elections.

The vigilant citizens must keep an eye on malpractices attempted by certain persons/parties to tarnish the just and fair election system and report the same to the concerned authorities or direct to the election commission of India.
 
Request to not make it Jat Vs non Jat Issue. When in job it is not necessarily a jat have good relation with another jat at working site. Sometime I have seen Jat doing job at same location to be sworn enemy while a Jat & Non Jat to be good friend.

Environment in work location may be totally different from society.

The decision to appoint the next chief of the army is yet to be finalised and we must keep cool and wait.

Avoid to be carried away by poll related discussions by vested political interests on media to attract voters to their side/or to distract them from voting to their rival parties.

Hope better sense would prevail and the matter will not be politicised beyond a certain limit as our Defence services are apolitical.

The last phase of voting in the Punjab is nearing where voting pattern of the Hindu and Sikh Jat voters will have a long bearing influence n shaping the final outcome of the Lok Sabha Polls there.

Several Jat candidates (considered big guns in the state politics and many others at local level) have thrown their hats in the battle of ballot there on the tickets of various political parties and even as independents.

How many Jat/Jutt candidates are going to represent the Punjab parliamentary constituencies is yet to be seen.

This is the last day for electioneering for the 16th Lok Sabha elections 2014. By 5.00 p.m. the activities to mobilise support in their favour by all candidates and parties will come to a stop. By evening of 12th May, after the final round of voting for remaining seats comes to an end, the election result forecasts will start coming out and will continue to confuse the eager voters by vague declarations based on their news stories/data.

The real picture of the formation of the 16th Lok Sabha will start to emerge with the official declaration of results from 16th May, 2014.

Till then, just conjectures and gossips; none knows who voted for whom to steer the destiny of the nation for the next five years !!
 
Don't you think that EC is biased? Road show of Rahul was allowed while Modi was denied permission for the same.

This type of action of the local administration smacks of a bit of partisan attitude.

Even earlier, if the local administration had timely rejected the application of BJP to grant permission to hold rally at that place, the situation of confrontation between BJP and ECI could have been avoided.

Road-show ke liye permission deni chiye thi. EC is biased here. Rahul Gandhi pe Amethi main koi action nhi liya gaya.

Ganga ki aarti ke liye permission lene ki jarurt esliye thi BJP ki BJP waha full setup karti. Ek shyaandaar setup hota or jo dekhne layak hota. Otherwise Ganga ma ki aarti ke liye kisi se permission ki jarurt nahi.


Reilly ke liye permission easliye nahi di. US Ground ki capacity 30,000 hai bas. Modi ki reilly main lakho log ate.

But still Rahul ka road show----BJP ke liye accha hai. Kejriwal ki votes pe asaar padega na ki Modi ki. Or BJP khud asia chahata hoga ki rahul road show kare.


Dharam ke name pe rajneethi karti hai BJP, Congress is using power of govt.
 
Dharam ke naam per saari duniya mei rajniti hoti hai aur hoti rahe gi. Farak itna hai ki western world mei political parties darshate nahi hai aur BJP mei log iska sidha sidha parchar karte hai.

The politicians of all hues and colours always preach that politics should not mix religion in it but never fail to twist their preachings giving one name or other to suit their convenience.

For example, even Great Father of Nation had used it to mass mobilisation of Indians by taking up the Issue of restoration of Khalifa, a purely religious issue to solicit support of the Muslims to the Non co-operation movement against the British in 1920's.
