Why Are We So Obssessed With Muslims And Islam

I am really surprised to see that genarally some controvercial topic regarding Mulilms/Islam is always there on this site,leading to unwanted hateful disscussions.Why are we so obssessed with these words? What is our stake here? Can't we leave them alone and not tear these words apart every now and then..............I think Jats are the most secular people and we need not to give any licence to any body on this.I think we can alwaysavoid such controvercial discussions. It is serving absolutely no purpose except generating hatred and a unwanted arguments...................Point to ponder!

You are right Arun. Mujhko bhi lagta hai ki kuchh log apni mardangi sabit karna chahtein hain Musalmano ko Gaali de kar. My suggestion to such 'Saviors of Hinduism' would be to leave whatever they are doing and join some ultra HIndu outfit and fight.

There is absolutely no harm in knowing about other religions. You are also right when you say that few people here know more about Islam than many Muslims. I firmly believe that at least 50% Muslims worldwide don't know the true meaning of Islam.

We are so obsessed by Islam because they assaulted and tormented our nation and our "jat kaum" for over a thousand years. We have managed to be a free hindu nation only for the last 60 years or so. And even for these 60 years or so, our nation has bee under threat by Islam. Islam has been getting on our nerves ever since it came around in this part of the world. Even though we may try to ignore Islam for a while, Muslims will do their best to spread the "words of allah" to us even if it has to be done with a sword. Havent they always done so in the past?

Infact Dev sir, I am sure muslims will love people like you who turn a blind eye towards their motives and intentions. No offense, but I guess e must be honest to each other.

Such steamy below the belt comments are totally unexpected of a person of your stature. Most people who have come out and been honest about their feelings for the threat of Islam, have commented on a wide range of issues. I really do not neet to prove my masculinity on an online forum.

Also, I have read the literal translation of Koran. Does that still put a muslim above me when it comes to awareness of Islam.

Joining an anti-islam right wing gang is something I wont recommend becuse it would be politicising your views. All I want is that people must be aware of the threat of Islam. Thats more than enough to save us. You really think that we need to take advice from someone who so misunderstands our feelings that he terms it "mardangi."

Also, do I need to pull out your older threads where you have been nasty to Islam. Or is it time that you apologize for being a flip flop and for gods sake pick your side.

Please do so and recollect what I have written. If you read patiently all my earlier threads, you would fiind me talking about the same 'Awareness' of being aware of the world wide designs of Muslim Ummah, the kind of treatment they understand, language they understand and how we as a nation should face this challenge. Is it? I have never said that let's all start hating and killng them (Read my post of 03 Oct 2003).

I am not against discussing the threat of Islamic Fundamentalism, but I will keep objecting to a growing treand here of treating each Muslim as a terrorist.

Moderator or no moderator, I still enjoy all the freedom to express my thoughts, just like you. Why should you get upset with one comment about 'Mardangi'? You are right 'Online Mardangi'. That's the word I was wanting to use actually.

People are going on and on and resorting to Muslim bashing here. Anti- Muslim comments ki haan mein haan milana he padega, koi zabardasti hai kya. Then we say why not admit Muslim JATS here. I don't believe we were tormented by Muslims the way you do. If that was so, we should have all been converted to Islam by the powers to be. After all we were enroute to Delhi. What does that prove? Please answer this question.

No, you should not take my advice at all. Please do what you think is right. I am not as educated as most other memebers in this forum and therefore have never advocated that others follow me. In fact I learn a lot from you all.

My dear Sumit, Kindly spare me your wrath.Frankly i am not a person who can hate or abuse a group or a faith irrespective of your take.I will be comfortable working/dealing with all kinds of people irrespective of their cast or creed provided they have a semblance of Humanity/decency on their sleeves.Frankly i refuse to hate people based on their colour or creed.....yes i will oppose those[ with fullest might at my disposal] who spread hatred and divide people and encourage them to indulge in blood shed let them be even from my own blood.........? I understand what you are trying to say...but lets be objective.

Our main focus should be on ourselves, looking at our own shortcomings.

By improving and working on ourselves, other things will fall into place.

And lastly how do we live and create peaceful society/world if everyone creates a atmosphere of mistrust and fear.

I agree...too much negativity is not good.

On the other hand, one cannot remain untouched by the events happening around the world, We should be aware of the issues and discuss them but in a constructive way.

Lot of ppl who come to this forum r living outside india.... in india ppl jus worry bout thmselves only but once u come to a diff country u see every indian as a brothers or sisters... n thn u hear bout terrorist killing ppl in the name of islam.. n tht makes u angry n mad. thrs a limit whn it comes to controling emotions n sometimes its jus too damn hard to control n .. we see hatred out here in threads.

RAHUL bhai hatred is no solution at all. Terrorism is not Muslim/h/Hindu/Sikh specific.More or less all communities are involved in this henious crime. Terrorism may be of words,weapons,unrests,Write ups...any thing.And as per me terrorism and Humanity are two seperate issues as entire humanity is not part of Terrorism where as terrorism affects them all.
