I enrolled myself on Jatland because I wanted to know in and out of our community...And I was happy to see that we have such a wonderful platform to share our views and ideas....I am happy to be a member of the same...

I assume the question is "Why do I come here?", if yes then few reasons from my side.
1. I was not much close to my community before so I joined JL to know more.
2. I joined it but without any particular reason. I was searching for jat related things thru googling and got this. SO, I joined. Was inactive for around 10 months then beacame an addict and still I am.
3. I come here when I feel boredom and I found it a good time killing/pass machine(website). Though, sometimes its productive also.
4. Now I am kinda addicted. I feel something missing until I chk out new posts atleast twice or thrice a day.
5. I want to know more and love to stay in touch with my community ppl.
6. I have got some gud frnds frm this platform. So, its again a gud platform to continue with them and interact with new ones.

As i am away from my native place and totally disconnected from the haryana and its culture, the threads of JL and the language reminds me the old and golden days , while looking for the haryanavi music I came in contect with this link and after that once I visit JL I feel I have visited in my home ,village and Kheet Khaliyans.
good hummer and the valuable threads from the experiance persons and the ideas and openness on various topics is matchless, various topics and the history which I was not able to tell my Child are now available on JL.good work keep it up , "Mai har rooj yahaa Gedda marthaa hu....""

I came to JL to see someone's profile who is a member of it..and to do that i had to become a member myself. But once i became a member and explored this site i really loved the idea of bonding of people of the same community from all over the world. Its really great as we get to connect with our community, get to know whats going on and obtain a lot of other information about the community. Here i got to know many things about our community which i did not know before.

Sometime I do wonder about the word Virtual.Even a Fauji who lives far away from his family live in a kind of VIRTUAL world about them. That way everyone of us live in a kind of virtual world minus the membership of JL.
My question : Tag of Virtual world to JL is Real.?
To me Virtual world kind of things is part of misguided truth because the work on Jat History would have been an impossible task without JL as roof.
Next question which I think is most important to all of us is: How are we going to handle ourselves in this so called virtual world? It could be seen as next step after the small achievement of having a Jat site which really would be interesting.
Would we be able to come out of this cosy/lazy home of thoughts and really be able to contribute in a way to be remembered for new joinees.?
Start of any bigger feat starts with an idea in mind which is virtual in its existence.

Samar , the world of internet is termed virtual by many including me , and to me the categorisation is apt. Here you interact with people who you do not see face to face. I have never met you and may be the picture i have put on here is not mine and if at all we plan to meet sometime you might not recognise me because you dont have an iota of idea about me.
As you have rightly said , in the beginning every idea is real , same holds here , in the beginning "things" are real , but nobody stops one rom moving towards reality. ( continuing with our example , we have talked on phone , thats the first step , and if we meet , we would culminate the virtuality i guess! ).
The endeavour of all of us is to move towards a constructive reality , that is the sole motive of mine indulging in all of these "Virtual" world interactions.

I watched 'The Shawshank Redemption' yesterday after a long time again. There was a real character who never exist. A guy who got passport, SSN, driving liscence and all neccessary evidences to prove him real. But he didnt exist... hahaha .. strange na ... same way kya pata anil, samar others kahin aise hi toh nahi ... isliye jab tak mil naa le toh virtual hi hai...
