Why is it so?

What I have seen on this site and few others also , is very strange. I can't understand it why , there can be many reasons for that. I am posting this message to get views of all the jatland members, male or female.

Whenever a girl posts a message she gots too many replies as like some Ms. Ruby had posted a message that she is a new member to this portal. In reply to her post, most of the members welcomed her, but if any particular male posts such message he is welcomed by just one or two members(this i had seen a lot of times on this site).

Likewise in all chatrooms the first thing people ask that " RU FEMALE" ? And if ur not then they not not interested in talking to you.Why is it so that everyone runs after females

Why do you people treat them special, let them be like one of us a normal human being.

I have seen this in day to day life also, at one point women say that she is equal to men in every field. Whether its sports, education, work etc. and at the same time women asks for privilege like seat reservations in buses, trains. Why not to be equal there also. There are many such things.

You people must be thinking that either i am allergic to girls or i am psycho, but its not that. Because what i am saying is a truth and most of you know that but don't dare to speak up.

My motive behind this message to post, is to share equallity among all. Regarding to this one more thing irritates me is the reservations for SC/ST people. Due to which they are nowadays at the highest posts in most of the organizations,where they are not supposed to be. Reservations were started for their upliftment but now since now they are well established. I think all reservations should be banneed now.

Dear Sandeep,
thanks for starting a very sensible thread. I do agree with you in both matters and thinking on these issues for a long time but most of us do not agree with this. I tried to get some people's comments and they answered negetavely.
Females in India has the same status of an Indian citizen,here i exclude ill and old of both sexes out.We should take special care of them otherwise male and female should be treated in same manner.specially in urban areas females are taking undue advatages of being female and most of us toleratte this.
Reservation is great factor for increasing frustration in youths of general catagory.resrevation was started for a short period but still continues.
I am in favor to eliminate all kind of reservation and give the best to go ahead,but our politics is runnig only on religen,caste and reagionalism.

Well everyone knows why girls get all the attention, whether here or on other internet based enterprises. Do I need to stress on it again?

As for Girls gettng prioroty seating in public transportation systems, I strongly feel that this one has cultural reasons. How many of us would like our women to be stuck in jampacked bus, with strangers squeeezing on them. If they get priority seating, this avoids, unreasonable physical contact. On a personal level, its a Gentleman's aspect to offer a seat to a lady. These are little things to be learned. Just makes you look better. You may not see the woman again in your life, but the sweet part is that theres someone out there whose got a positive opinion of you.

As for reservations, I strongly feel that they are an invitation to the Fool's day out. All positions of authority should be based solely on personal capabilities, and not ethnic qualities. So yes you are right. Lets get done with the SC/ST and ther reservations.

As regards reservation to SCs/STs ( I call them super computer and super technologies ), they are taking the advantage of vote bank politics. The onus lies on general category inasmuch as they themselves don't see eye to eye on this issue. Majority of so called upper castes are in favour of the reservation whereas the miniscule number are against it. There are frequent questions in Parliament as to the posts meant for SCs/STs not being filled up, nobody has the guts to raise a question in Parliament as to how many SCs/STs in military/para Military/Police forces have laid down their lives for the country. Now this reservation issue has started irritating people and the day is not far when they will retaliate which in turn lead to civil war in the country. But our politicians are too thick skinned and have their own interests to grind.

I am of the view that if at all we should have reservation, it should be economy based and not caste based and that too only at the entry level. Reservation in promotion is ridiculous and tantamounts to insulting merit. Incidently, even ex-servicemen are given the benefit of reservation only once to secure a civilian job.

I am of the view that reservation should be given to only those who have studied in village schools and scored a definite percentage (say 60%) and it should be only once in life time.
