Violence is detestable in every form, but calling riots as terrorism is not correct.
Riots happen when two communities fight face to face and there is loss on both sides. Whereas terrorism involves taking innocent lives (of unarmed people) by armed men based on some religious/sectarian ideology. Hence, if you pick up any ENGLISH language dictionary you will find that you cannot equate both or quote them as synonyms.
But again, if you want to create new definitions, you can. After all you are a free citizen of a free country which provides you complete freedom to accuse and abuse the so-called majority.
