This is fraud..

Even one of my colleague got something like this. They have some forged website created to dupe, which will have details of the people who might have sign your appointment letter. He got something from citibank nigeria.

yeah.. even one of my friend too got the same letter ... and package included a 4 BHK flat fully furnished , a car and a cell phone ans lot more... he also did not take the chance... if u come tyo know then let us know too wt this $hit is ... and brother be very careful abt africa

Dear Ramesh,
Thank you very much for this post. It could save some people a lot of grief. Any offer coming out of Nigeria is not to be taken seriously, if one can learn from experience of a large number of victims of these frauds. Recent case of an Australian who was promised a bride and large dowry and ended up being a hostage. It cost his brother nearly quarter mil to get him back alive. Be very very very careful, if some thing is too good to be true, it usually is.
Remember Kabir Das " Makhi baithi sahad par pankh gaye liptay, pankh hilaye sir dhune lalach buri balay.Greed is like honey and victims are like a fly. Just think about it, why should some one offer this kind of money in a country like Nigeria.

The fraud aspect is fine but is there a way of verifying whether a particular job offer is bogus or genuine. The aspect of not availing a really good job offer is also underlying. Is there any IT expert who can bail out, all of we gullibles and give us some foolproof method of guaging the genuinity of some job offer.
