Respected Dudee ji,

Education is the key to any opportunity these days. Education of Jat boys and girls in rural India is a big issue as there are hardly any quality schools there and whatever there are, teachers hardly pay enough attention. Those who can afford, send their kids to private schools. Village elders hardly interact with school teachers like they used to do in our times. Rural Jat boys need local role models. Money alone won't be able to address the issue. This will need time and efforts of all those who are really sensitive to the cause. Only way is that we go to rural masses and spend time there among school students and try to develop direct communication. Today's jats really need support on many fronts. I totally agree with your views on the educational front as education alone can solve many problems. I personally feel that as a first step many of us must spend time among rural jat boys and girls and at least 4-5 of us those who have made some name in our respective fields, must visit and spent at least 2-3 days every 2-3 months in villages. Interaction will triger creativity and ambitions in many minds. Time is to act now. Debates can continue side by side.

Regards
Rajendra

Dear Dharmpal ji,

Thanks for the initiative. Agree with you and we can start with action plan on this website. Let us start with some practical and workable plans and implement them in incremental steps with commitment from all sectors of the society including Government, teachers, parents and students them selves. First we have to register an organisation.

Dear Dharampal
Thanks for putting my name on the list. I am willing to do my part on whatever the majority decides on this issue. Great idea and education alone will lead to changes and should start with the youngones. There is definitely lack of information in our rural area. I think Rajender Singh and Kanta Singh can be of great help in this.

Dharmpal Ji:

Rajendra Ji has described the matter in an excellent way, and with a concrete & workable solution.

My personal plan/desire is leave US for India in a couple of years, and to spend time in rural Haryana speaking with people about education and drinking problems.

Thank you Budh ji. I am fully conviced that all it takes if to have 5 like minded and fully committed Jats. They will change the face of our community within 10 years. Putting money, building few big colleges or schools will never solve this problem. Jats need time, honest guidence and helping hand. I know jats and they can still go hungry when it will come to bright future of their childern.

Respected Dharam Pal ji!
I do agree with your views about the rural education. But the probelm is where to begin with? Moreover In continuation to it I think we need to put our heads together for getting a solution for the Migration of Educated ppl from villages to Towns for the need of :
1. Better Avenues wrt jobs.
2. Children Education
3. Healthcare services etc.

So wht exactly is happening here A man gets all the resources for his upbringing from tht motherland i. e village but as soon as he becomes potent enough to serve it back..instead of serving back..he just shifts to towns which are more developed...leaving the villages in the same state.

I found this is also very serious issue. In this way..our rural population will never ever get the benefits. I feel nobody wants to leave its native place if he gets the abovementioned facilities near his native place only. Its a point on which serious thinking is required becouse if we willeb able to retain those educated ppl there in villages itself...all the problems will vanish slowly and gradually.

Dear Rajender Kumar ji, Subha chand ji, Budh ji,
Rohtas Ji and Baljit bhai.

You all have very valuable insight and suggestions.
This is golden chance for all of us to unite for a noble causes.

The problems are many folds.
As Rajender kumar ji said Education is best medicine of all of our problems.
Let us all join a strong team of visionarys.
We will win the main war against the all problems.
Let us get best education, get united and strong.
DELHI IS NOT FAR AND WE WILL WIN AGAIN.
LET all groups of jats work under one flag.
With best wishes

Let us draft an action plan as soon as possible. Let us begin with 5 existing inter colleges in five different jat dominated areas and where majority students are jats. I will strongly suggest that initially we focus of science subjects and general moral education. I have seen the labs of most schools which are in bad shapes and even there is no proper flooring in science labs. My personal action plan was to adopt my own inter collge ( Rastriya Kisan Inter College Shamli) and give some reasonable looks to its labs and also help them buy some equipments. Later on give some lectures on a regular basis. In addition I have plans to start a Postgraduate College in few subjects like Bioinformatics, Mathematics. This coellge will have an English audio lab for the students to practice spoken english. Quality education is what we have to aim for our young boys and girls. I will be investing my own resources and wish to take no monitary donations. Inputs in the form of what will be right for our boys, is what I will like to hear from members. Since resources are limited, I will try to choose what is best in the interest of our young boys/ girls and what the trend in future will be. My aim is to give lead to our boys at least in one subject if not in more.

Rajendra

I have a little suggestion. There are very few academic competition (none to be frank) in western UP education circles like Debates, math, science, GK competition. I think these events generate a lot of enthusiasm in students. So we can start say category wise yearly "Partiyogaiya" funded by say Jatland organized by a committee and rotating venue. And the winners get recognition and more importantly the desire to be competitive. And it works as a publicity event for Jatland too.

This generation is need guidance and support more than anything else.

As I have seen, the students aim in the rural aim is just to pass the examination. Only 5% student know how to prepare for the compitition. For example when they go for the Policeman post, they qualify the physical, but you can find them saying like "BAS YAAR WRITTEN TEST NIKALWA DO KISI TARAH". They dont know the India's finance minister name even. We need to guide them to focus on the career rather than passing the examination.
We need to guide the parents that it is better that u concentrate on child education rather than thinking how u find a approach (JUGAD) to copy him in the examination or paying the bribe to find a job for him.

Main problem is guidance.

As Rohtas ji, the educated poeple stay in the town rather than staying back in the villages. The fact is that villages are in very bad condition-FULL OF CRIME, DAROO, JHAGDA, AND ALL UNTI-SOCIAL ACTIVITY

Dear Saharawat,

You have very well pointed out the real situation in a typical rural village in our area. This is a very alarming situation and no body is comming to its rescue. Govt. cares only for vote banks and few people whom we call active persons like sarpanch, or other people, all they care is for political milage.
There is a real need for actively working on education of our rurtal youth.

There are so many opportunities available if we just make them aware like in defence services (CDS, NDA), in civil services and lot more opportunities will certainly be knocking the doors soon thanks to the out sourcing. Even farming sector will get the benefits out of it. ( the seed trade companies are looking for cheaper ways to produce hybrid seeds with quality offcourseand india will be next place for hybrid seed multiplication) We can bag this opportunity. So much seed is being pumped into wester world by china and even India but only few people are getting benefit right now. But market is pretty open and this need to be tapped.

But are we prepared ?

We are illprepared and ill equiped to bag these opprtunities.

This makes all of responsible people worrysome.

The quality education and awareness is the only way for our people to open their vision to development.

The goal can be achieved but need dedication and a tireless effort of the team.

The sole motive should be proper education and and awareness.

There are even examples where our youth qualify for many ecxamination in written also no doubt physical they always do. But fail to give a good standing a good impressive interview. When we ask why ? The answer comes I was not so confident and poor spoken english (specially in CDS and NDA)

Though a lot need to be done but even aa slight push can benefit a lot of people.

Many people just need little quidance despite their being hard working and sincere.

If we pick just a few school by school in different areas we can make a sea of difference. But the effort has to be contineous and dedicated. The instituations if not many but still there are a lot which already exist and no need to open new institutions right way to start the effort. Which some time become impractical due to lack of funds.

Things are changing steady fast and if our youth have to succeed they need to be motivated and made willing to spend time in learning.

Dear friends.
There are people in our community. Their mission of life is to serving the jat community & humanity all over world. They are all not on this site. They are serving the Kaum on ground level with out writing any mission statement any where.
They are with real people in villages before jatland.

So no one has sole agency to be spokesperson for the Kaum.
We are not having a Essay competition on jat land for mission statement.
But Haryana Education board Bhiwani has started a vision search eassy competion.
Children are doing very well and every body is welcome.
A piece of advice to serious people.
If you wish to do some social service to Kaum or Country.
Read the books.
Life story of a KARAM YOGI. SWAMI OMANAND JI- GURUKUL JHAJJAR HARYANA. Who died last year age 93.
Another example of DR GHASI RAM VERMA LIFE STORY.OF A KARODPATI FAKIR. A COPY HE SEND TO ME LAST YEAR. MANY THANKS TO DR VERMA SAHIB.
At the age of 78 Dr Ghasiram Varma work over 12 hours daily. Spend 4 month in India manging his 40 colleges and other trusts.
So age is a credit here. May GOD bless him long working happy life and some wisdom to jats.

Cheers
