Tikariya ( टिकरिया) or Tikaria Jamunihai is a Village in Manikpur Block in Chitrakoot District of Uttar Pradesh State, India. Tikariya is a Railway station on Itarsi-Allahabad Railway line. It is located on Ram Van Gaman Path.

History
Viradhakunda (विराधकुण्ड) is a religious place in Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh, near Tikariya Railway station on Itarsi-Allahabad Railway line. It is said that Rama had killed a Rakshasa named Viradha here hence the name.
Viradh Kund is a vast water reservoir situated on the Amrawati Ashrama Road. It is located at the meeting point Bambiha and Tikariya villages, about 6 km East of the Shabari Fall. As per legend, a terrible monster Viradh used to live here. This monster was killed by Lord Rama.[1]
When Rama dwelt in the forest for ten years, staying a month, a season, or a year at one or another hermitage. Once a fierce rakshasa named Viradha seized Sita and would have carried her off, but Rama and Lakshman with huge labour slew him.[2]
विराधकुण्ड
विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[3] ने लेख किया है .....विराधकुण्ड (AS, p.861) बाँदा ज़िला (वर्त्तमान चित्रकूट जिला), उत्तर प्रदेश का ऐतिहासिक स्थान है। यह इटारसी-इलाहाबाद रेलमार्ग पर, टिकरिया स्टेशन से लगभग 2 मील दूर घने वन के बीच स्थित है। यह एक विस्तीर्ण खाई है, जिसे किवदंती में वह स्थान कहा जाता है, जहां भगवान राम ने वन यात्रा के समय विराध नामक राक्षस का वध किया था। विराध राक्षस चित्रकूट के आगे दण्डकवन के मार्ग में एक घने जंगल में रहता था- 'निष्कूजमानशकुनिझिल्लिकागणनादितम, लक्ष्मणानुचरो रामोवनमध्यं ददर्शह, सीतया सह काकुत्स्थस्तस्मिन् घोरमृगायुते, ददर्श गिरिश्रृगाभं पुरुषादं महास्वनम्। अधर्मचारिणौ पापौ को युवां मुनिदूषकौ, अहं वनमिदं दुर्ग विरोधो नाम राक्षसः चरामि सायुधौ नित्यमृषिमांसानि भक्षयन्। इयं नारी वरारोहा मम भार्या भविष्यति।' (वाल्मीकि रामायण, अरण्य काण्ड 2,3-4-12-13)
विराधकुण्ड से चित्रकूट अधिक दूरी पर नहीं है।
