Dear Members,
Kindly look at the link below. Ms. Mayawati’s ambition to become the Prime Minister is well known. The problem is that she is propogating it on Dalit Card to garner the votes. My question to her would be: “If it is only Dalit’s daughter can help the country, then we have no problem, we have millions of them and some of them probably more qualified then Ms. Mayawati herself. Further since she claims to be doing a good job at Uttar Pradesh, then why shift her from state to center. If Dalit’s daughter is the only solution, to help the country, then let us have two or even more of them. We can definitely find one in each state to help the nation, and one off course for the center. I am sure there might be Dalit’s daughters in every political party. Unfortunately, Dalit's daughter has not done any thing spectacular in a state, how could she claim that she can do it better at Center.
I am amazed that no political leader has commented on her statement.

Imagine a situation when both BJP and Congress fall short of seats and a group of opportunists including Communists, BSP, RJD, BJD etc. approach President for their claim, in the name of "Third Front" with Mayawati its leader. Maybe Congress renders its "outside support" and pulls the leg a couple of months thereafter, as it has done in the past.

If at all it happens, India will have a woman President and a woman Prime Minister, with negligible presence of women in both Houses of Parliament !
In such a scenario, how this Dalit lady will lead the nation and what progress will India make under her leadership, should better be left for imagination - wait cross-fingers at this stage !

Everybody knows Mayawati's political gimmics and her aspirations. Some political parties are encouraging her to gain some benefitts for their own parties in terms of votes. I call it a cheap politics. If somehow, due to this cheap politics, Mayawati become PM of India ..... That would be the worst day for India.
 
Madam Maya's ambitions are well known as she loves screaming from the rooftops like a muezzin that "I want to be PM.........".

Her stature has grown manifold in UP over past few years as she has understood Dalit card alone isn't the way to fool around. She applied this acquired wisdom in last assembly polls and is enjoying the CM chair as a Majority stake holder in the pie.

It is not bad if someone inherently nourishes the dream to be PM, many people carry that dream in their hearts. What is alarming is the blatant way she is looking forward to it, the way she propels her "in ur face" image towards u by erecting mega statues of self in the state and what else not. I too believe it would be a disgrace if she becomes PM which doesn't seem very implausible if she manages to clinch 45 or so seats from UP which looks quite probable as of now.

you got it quite late I guess.Remember Late Kanshi Ram used to say,' Jitni baar desh mein election honge, utni BSP aur dalit fayde mein rahenge'.She is just a manifestation of Kanshi Ram once dreamt of..She is on the rise undoubtly on her new social engeineering experiment and quite successful with that.Present election's success or failure would validate it.If Vajpayi or Manmohan could be a failure(lets assume from the believer's aspect) then Mayawati just being a Dalit like you said shouldn't be disgressed.Morever, its mandate of people who are in volume at large in state.

Whom we should blame now?

Her or people?

To add to your existing wonder, atleast she would be knowing that making electricity from water won't take its soul away and would not walk not from parliament.In response to your last statement, we know very well that a politician has perorgative to change his/her statement with the change wind.She might have claimed that moon is the property of dalits.No wonder! Democracy gives everyone a equal right to boast,brag and fool around.

The list of PM in waiting is becoming lengthy every day. We feel proud being a biggest democratic country. Is our present democracy really a matter of proud? Mayamemsaab is saying proudly that she should be the PM being a DALIT. I believe this the only quality she has. But the problem with our democracy is that other parties don’t have the courage to comment on it. Polarisation of votes of particular community towards any party is the biggest fear for them. The situation cant improve till every voter is educated.

Every party is filled of idiots and gangsters. same time, good leaders are also there in each party but sys has forced them to behave like other idiots. Voters don’t have any option to choose. Public is loured with liquor and cash money and this is a overall tamasha only. A budhijivi even doesn’t want to cast his vote.
If she can manage the things after result by overpowering all others in the same list than she has something in her. I m not favouring her but we cant say that Maya shouldn’t be PM bcoz she is DALIT. It will be a number game and a drama of highest order will be there. If third front comes in power by any JUGAD, it will not run more than a year.

in future we will see that these gr8 leaders will run our gr8 country.

No body seems to be doing a good job for our country but I really appricate Mayawati for her strong personality, wish our prime minister had a fraction of that.

BJP , Congress nd others are still busy (nd keeping others busy) with bofors, babri masjid, gujrat, hijack and all that shyte, where is the real issues?? Its rediculous.

The worst thing is waching our reporters nd politicians. The way they shout on top of each other. they have no real issues , no decency , no personality , no knowledge. all they want to do is shout their a*ss off.

Especially our reporters/correspondents they speak like 2000 words in 1 minute without taking a breath and in their fck**d up voices.

What happened to the quality???

We know you are corrupt but atleast look & speak good enough and represent our country well on the world platform.

They can hardy speak a clear word on international level but once they r home they r a nuisance

Yup she indeed has a strong personality especially the way she looks and the way she carries herself so well....she impresses a fine class of people like u...but to me she always looked like one maid...i wonder what great u found in her personality.Whatever she is rightnow is all because of sympathy and support of dalits and some greedy politicians.
Though we were not discussing the role of reporters on this thread but still would like to keep my views....i dont know about their performance out of country but in country i guess what they are doing is not tht bad as u think of....atleast they have the guts to ask politicians such questions which not even speaker which no one else can ask....about shouting part....politicians(mostly corrupt)hey shout to hide their truth about their scandals and corruption cases....reporters have to shout louder to make them answer certaind questions which may disclose their wrond doings...i wud have used some jazzy words like u did but i dont think it makes views sound more happening or interesting:)

Politics is all about sympathy and support??...what party in this whole damn world doesnt work on that

Reporters got guts to ask questions??? where in the world they dont ask questions (dont start talking about Afghanistan and all those now) they even throw shoes these days and the day is not far when they will beat the shyte out of the people they interview

you dont need to shout to hide the truth (they just shout), these days we smile, say it softly and hide the truth.

Earlier Maya use to say “Tilak, Talwar Aur Taraju (means Pandits, Thakurs and Baniyas) ko nahin chhodenge. Inn 3 “T’s” ne hamara bahut bahishkaar kiya hai”. And now, she gives her party ticket to everyone! Last UP election is a proof of that. Does anyone know the percentage of “Dalits” in her Govt? And see, she is still playing her “Dalit” card and even successful up to some extent!

She says she loves a “Khichdi Sarkaar” (A Govt. without a clear mandate) because then she would have a say in forming the Govt. If this is the level of thinking then how would she manage the nation? It’s mere politics and “aam admi” can do nothing more than foolishly watching them play their game!

Nothing can happen until every Indian is educated enough to understand their motives. And, “They” won’t let this happen! Phew!!

Next PM - who?

Based on whatever has been reported in the last few days, it is becoming clearer that Manmohan Singh does not stand a chance to be next PM. The Congress-led coalition partners Sharad Pawar, Lalu, Paswan and Mulayam Singh Yadav have openly said that Mr. Singh is a candidate of Congress for PM's post, not that of UPA ! They are now declaring openly that after the elections, UPA partners will choose their PM. This is going to have an adverse effect on Congress's chances of leading the next Govt. Congress-led coalition lacks unity. Believe it or not, Pranab Mukherji is also in the race for PM's post.

Five years back, when Sonia Gandhi had to leave the race for PM's post, she brought forward Manmohan Singh. The repetition of this magic may not have any effect now !

On the other hand, Left parties have also declared that they will not support a Congress-led government. In case Left Front gets reasonable number of seats, whom will it support? Historically, Left Front is allergic to BJP and they can go to any extent to stop BJP from coming to power. If the current trend continues, Congress may have to compromise for some other name (like it has done in the past by supporting Deve Gowda and IK Gujral), maybe from "outside" support.

Moreover, if BJP-led coalition manages to get 200 seats, some of Cong. allies may desert UPA, heading for greener pasteurs. BJP is the only party who is clear about its next PM, if it comes to power.

In these circumstances, the likes of Mayawati and Sharad Pawar have reared big ambitions.

A few Congressmen are also of the view as to how a person like Manmohan Singh, who is not in good health and who has not even fought a municipality election, could be a fit candidate for a second term as India's PM? Congress, till now, is over-confident of gentmanliness of Manmohan Singh and the same gentleman is now becoming a burden on the party.

There is a possibility that next Lok Sabha could have the shortest life and the nation may have to face another election within a year or so !

Well as i dont know about ur maid and surprised tht u compared me with her (though we have never met )...but i trust u on ur words tht her son looks better than u as u have seen urself in the mirror and have seen that guy face to face.One more thing u can compare yourself even with an ass or a pig i have no issues but dont compare me with anyone....Now coming back to the topic....it wasn't just about the looks....but yup appreance does matter.....it depends on a person how well one carries himself/herself....ugly people can also look smart and presentable...and thts where Mayawati fails....as u said u are really impressed with her'Persona"...i would like to know what exactly was the part of it?As u feel i missed the point...i would love to know what actually that point was...

I dont see anything apealing in Mayawati's personality................
If a person like mayawati with less than 5% vote share in the country will become PM of India again that DAY will be WORST DAY for INDIAN DEMOCRACY. ....
