Ms. Mayawati's Prime Ministrial Ambition!!!

Yup you are right she can take hard decisions against anyone or everyone(except Dalits).....o.k.....lets cut the crap....could you please mention a few of hr decisions which were being implemented for the betterment of people other than Dalits.Being biased in actions is a quality?

1. Filling the vacant primary teachers' posts in UP. I did not hear a single case of "Sifaris" in filling these posts. Loads of Jat boys and girls have been selected. No special favours to dalits other than their quota.

2. Mulayan Singh was filling almost all Police posts with Yadavs. Mayawati cancelled all the selections. During new selections many Jat boys and girls got selected.

3. Work of Ganga Express High way started.

4. Condition of roads much better during Mayawati's time.

5. Most of the Gundas who used to trouble common people, have been put in their right slots.

6. More and more of village streets laid in concrete

Only thing I don't like about Mayawati is of getting her own statues eracted. This aspects puts me really off. Rest everything she is doing much better than many other politicians.

These are my views and you need not agree with them.

So easily you have advised me that i should check the facts....What actually has she done to be looked as a qualified and noble politician? And who all are there in the "Public"?May be Dalits and pandits....Her slogan reveals alot about her qualities and capabilities.....I hope you know about her slogan that she had...if not then its ur turn to check the facts:)She can pretend to be exceptionally nice till the time she becomes PM....but she would show her true colours once she gets the power...one can change the behaviour for sometime and pretend but basic never changes...Its in her blood...OH great u have compared her with the past Prime Ministers....if we always had some disgusting PMs,does it mean have to follow the same tradition?Well i never said she is inferior coz to me she is more corrupt than any of them:D

Ms Mayawati is more qualified than majority of the Prime Ministers India had till date. Please check your facts. Dr Man Mohan Singh did not become PM. He was installed as PM and had to get all his actions approved from 10 Janpath. Question is not of my wanting or not wanting her as PM, but of public at large. Compare her with VP Singh, Chandrashekhar, Dev Gauda, IK Gujral etc and you would find that in no way she is inferior to any of them. She is many more time qualified than Mrs Gandhi who was hardly a high school. Not that I want her to become PM, certainly I won't have any issue if she becomes PM.

And when did she start doing all this? She is following a well planned strategy and all is for one reason...do i need to mention?she has been a politician for quite a long time then how come only a bunch of people(other than Dalits)admire her?...had she been so qualifised and good everyone would have accepted her as PM...In our country a good politician never goes un-noticed...as we have only a few of them....Its not the first time she came in power then how come all these developments are recent?Search again on google and tell me the date also when she started all these developments:D Moreover its all been done to be in power for longer

I don't know about other claims, but yes the one in red is so true here in Noida. Roads have become lovely to drive upon. Though it completely looks like an election stunt, but roads being built are of really good quality.

Looks like dress sense is first and foremost for you to judge a leader. Let me take you slightly back in Indian history to the dreass of Mahatma Gandhi. Churchil called him nacked fakir and made jokes of him. I suppose Ms Mayawati wears more cloths than Mahatma Gandhi. No doubt she has collected wealth and I am all against it. Unfortunately she is not alone. Have a look at Lallu, Dev Gauda, Mulayam Singh, Chautala, Badal etc... and how much each of them has looted this nation. If we choose our PM purely on the basis of honesty and dress sense, many will disqualify. If dress sense is the sole criteria then Hema Mailini, Jaya Parda, Jaya Lilitha types should get the job.

I agree with you fully, Rajender Ji!

It is not only that she is academically qualified as some one has commented about her as an illiterate person but also, she probably represents and would represent more ieligible voters than any of the jokers in line. I feel majority of us oppose her is the result of the prevalent mindset against the people of the lowest strata of population.I strongly believe that they deserve far better treatment than meted now. You are also right in saying that she can take tough decision and that is the foremost qualification in a leader. What she did to Tikait and Varun Gandhi vindicates your stand sir!

Cheers!

What she did in Varun Gandhi's case was all because of her political interests...She may not be illiterate but she is no less...what all she has is not enough to be the PM of our country....Its not that i have something against her because she is from lower caste or poor family....Interestingly my favourite politician is Lal Bahadur Shastri....he was not only a simple person but was also a man of principles....He was soft hearted yet a great politician....He hailed from a poor family and worked really hard to get good education and he did lot of work towards the development of Indian during his tenure....Even in those days he tried his level best for the betterment of poor section....He was the first one to appoint women conductors and it shows he had a vision for women empowerment. He made a wonderful politician and a great Prime Minister in Indian history.
Lets get out of U.P...point to ponder is what all she has done is that enough to make her next PM?

Deepika ji, you are comparing incomparable personalities and times as well.
Mayawati is competing against likes of Lalu, paswan, Mulayam and Advani. Why Only Shastriji, even Chaudhry Charan Singh and Chaudhry Chhoturam also came from simple farming families and left their marks that can not be compared with present day politician irrespective of their caste and creed.
I would love to see the those qualities in any other politician who you think can outshine Mayawati!

cheers!

India can not wait till we have a leader like Lal Bahadur Shastri as PM. Our choice is limited only from among the existing leaders of various political parties. Let us see what all we have to choose from;

1. LK Advani
2. Man Mohan Singh c/o Sonia Gandhi
3. Sharad Pawar
4. Lallu Prasad
5. Jaya Lalitha
6. Ram Vilas Paswan
7. Chandra Babu Naidu
8. Praksh Karat
9. Mayawati

In politics there can always be surprises and one might have to face someone totally unexpected. However, chances are that the PM will be one of the above mentioned persons. It all depends who has how many seats. Mayawati will become PM if BSP has enough seats to bargain for the post and very little you or anyone will be able to do. Personally I find that she is as bad or as good as anyone else in the list. There is no Lal Bahadur shastri type anywhere around to lead the nation. Mayawati certainly has some positive points over others. I rest my case now. Nothing further to add..

I did not make any comparison as she doesn't stand anywhere in front of that great soul....Do u mean to say that what Lal Bahadur Shastri did was something not a human can do or u meant that honest politicians will like some sort of spieces which doesn't exist now?Do u think that if we have an honest politician now he/she won't be able to match Shastriji's achievements?Somehow i cant buy that she will make a good PM...I feel L.K.Advani will make better PM though he is a little too much into hinduism thing but i m sure he will live upto the expectations of the nation. He may not be a saint but he must have learn from his mistakes and would use his experience in the future if he gets a chance at all....If not him then Chandra Babu Naidu can be a good option..He indeed is a good Politician

Correct Deshwal Sahab. Times have changed and we have to choose only out of whatever we have. I might be wrong but I have this very strong feeling that Mayawati will turn out to be much better than most of other leaders we have presently.

She is not at all best among the whole lot....If we talk about achievements(within own state during tenure as CM) then i bet Chandra Babu Naidu is a better choice anyday....all the developments in Andhra Pradesh during his tenure are worth all praises....it may not be easy to be like Lal Bahadur Shastri but is not impossible as well....

Here you go.. LK Advani is the man known only for creating all the present day troubles and hardly anything positive to his credit. This man talks of Hinduism in India and Jinnaism in Pakistan... If opportunism is the only factor to judge, Mayawati stands nowhere as an opportunist in front of Advani. ..however, its your choice and your are fully entitled to it... May be he scores better on dressing sense....LOL

If m not wrong it was Narendra Modi who created lot of trubles....Sometimes L.K Advani has delivered some not so appreciable speeches but if we look at it from taht point of view then Mayawati is also sailing the same boat:) Well was it bad to talk about Jinnaism in Pakistan and Hinduism in India?....O.k i would ask you one simple question....Britishers have ruled our country for long....If u ever happen to visit England and have to deliver some public speech would you use abusive remarks for Queen Elizabeth?
Anyways if u think Advani is not a good choice o.k...i support one more candidate from the list who is ofcourse corrupt like Mayawati but is result oriented...Lalu Prasad Yadav:)

Dr. R K Sahab,
Nice to see you back on the site after a long gap.
I was wondering the people here might call you Anti-Jat for you have not included the name of any Jat Leader for the possible PM's Post.
How about 1. Mr. Chautala, 2. Mr. Ajit Singh, 3. Mr. B S Hooda, 4. Mr. Sajjan Kumar, 5. Ms. Anuradha Chaudhary and so on.

Another thing I see missed out is that not even a single film star appeared in your list. Considering the preference of our political parties (who will eventually decide our future PM) people like Amitabh Bachhan, Dharmender, Raj Babbar, Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, Jaya Prada, Shatrughan Sinha, Vinod Khanna and Jaya Bachhan should have equal chance I guess.

What an unfortunate thing that we can't have a clear cut emerging candidate to be CEO of our Country. We have to choose bad among the worst and I am not sure if that would eventually happen. On the serious note I find one name missing from the aspirant and that is Mr. Mulla yam Singh Yadav?

Tavathia Sahab,

As far as Jats are concerned, there is not a single Jat who is likely to make it to Pm's post in near future. With Late Ch Devi Lal we missed the bus. Most of the name you have mentioned, don't resonate beyond their ghetos. Persons like Mulayam Singh Yadav can only be king makers but never the kings. If I have my choice, I will go for Modi as he is a tough leader and development oriented. May be BJP will filed Mr Modi as PM next time.

World is changing too fast lately. American influenece is diminishing and China is becoming more and more assertive. We need very strong PM to steer India.

.........

There is something between praising and abusing. ...Just to keep quite and not to mention that name.. Mr Advani could have just kept quite on Jinnah..
