SYL Ka paani bus sapne dikhan khater hai paani aa gaya to vote kun dega.
Manesar was established by last govt. And now it is best industrial town.
Guragon to sirsa se bahut door hai.
Faridabad mein sabse bada slum area hai Haryana ka aur doosre number par hai India mein after mumbai.
Usko ukhadne ke chakkar mein faridabad se khud ukhad gaya. Maruti band hone ke kagar par thee strike tudwane wala bhi yehi sakhsh tha. aur bhi bahut kuch hai.

SYL ke upar rajneeti to INLD bhi khelan laag rhi hai bhai. 5 saal usne raaj kiya par usne bhi ek boond pani nahi dilwaya?? 5 saal itne bhi kam nahi hote ki pani hi na laya ja sake. Aur sarkar bhi BJP ki thi us time centre me jinko ye support kar rahe the. Then why Hooda only is being cursed?? Chautalaas, bansies, bhajans are also to be blamed for being biased, not only Hooda.

Cong jealous of huge INLD rallies

Indian National Lok Dal supremo and former chief minister of Haryana Om Prakash Chautala today accused Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government of ''being jealous'' of the huge gathering of the INLD rallies and resorting to ''cheap tactics'' to put hurdles in their way. He told reporters in a press conference here that irked by the poor turnout in the Congress rallies, the Hooda government had begun harassing INLD cadre by steps like imposing chalans on party workers' vehicles. He also accused the state government of not providing him with the proper security while addressing rallies and said even his helipad was made 20-30 km away from the rally points. There is no wave in favour of the Congress in Haryana which is proved by the thin gathering in the recent rally of Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi at Karnal and Sirsa, he asserted. He further said the Election Commission is not conducting the elections, rather he is acting like a puppet in the hands of Congress to bring the party in rule. ''We have filed all the above complaints to the Commission but the Commission is not ready to do anything. So, in protest, we have decided not to file any more complaint to the Commission,'' he added. ''However, the voter is aware about the situation of law and order in the state. The present situation is like the situation in 1977. The voters have made their mind to change the Congress governmet, rather there is a wave in favour of INLD,'' he claimed.

Hello Ashish, I appreciate your on the topic, seat to seat discussion. Keep it up. More than political rivalry, understanding of election process, public psyche/mood, wave creating issues matters. Simply abusing and demeaning other leaders of opposition mainly do harm to one's favourite leader.

As far as scenario today is concerned, Yes, INLD is on rise in Haryana on few seats. OP chautala himself didn't predict it so he has distributed tickets to some dummy candidates. On the other hand Congress went to comfortable zone and distributed tickets mostly to sitting MLAs. Congress' Rahul Ghandhi's promise to project youth appeared a lip service in Haryana assembly. There were many sitting MLAs whose ticket either should have been changed to another area or cut. For example, high commands knew in advance that there is huge antiincumbancy against candidate but not party at following constituency: Beri, Meham, Dadri, Jind, etc. Now congress faced what they never faced here. Candidates were hooted by villagers. Had they given ticket to some new young candidate I am sure situation won't have been worst.

Yes, Hooda's mannerism is purely confident. In many anti-incumbancy areas he is saying that Vote for Bhupinder Hooda. I will do the work. It surprises me that a villagers easily can't access his MLA , how would he access chief minister in Chandigarh? Another question is at how many constituency he would say the same thing?

Though I agree that opposition is on the rise but they still lacking real issues to make a lehar against ruling congress.

Again election had been a bit late than present date, I bet, Congress and Hooda would have been sweating their waist.

Capt. Kalkal,

Seats in HJC quotas are partly of Congress. If they manage 8 seats as per AC Neilson survey, minimum 4 of their MLA would be going to join congress.Mostly HJC comprises of rebel congressi who has no backbone and would join again if some of them win.

Plus you can add Independent winners with Congress as well. So it would increase the total tally of congress in either case. HJC and Independent are fighting to make Hooda CM.

Very true Samar
In gurgaon sukhbir seems a winning candidate now. If INLD had given him ticket he was sure shot winner. Still as independent his chances are maximum and he might be going to support to congress.

Surveys are at the most an indication as they are conducted on a sample size but even our own site gives same indication:

Congress -------70 %
INLD------------23 %
BJP-------------5 % (Though there is not even an iota of chance of them coming to power, these guys must be in a jolly mood while voting:D:D )

Agreed upon Bhai !! Independently neither HJC nor BSP (If any) are going to exist for long, whatever MLAs they send (Barring Bhajan Lal's family) sooner or later they are going to go with the ruling party (Read Congress).

But this time INLD may not see further attrition (though there's hardly any scope left:D:D) Going by the anti incumbancy resistance Congress is facing now, INLD workers can be rest assured of Power next time atleast. ;);)

We need to make the opposition strong!!

Which ever party wins, a strong opposition is vital for democracy.

Today the farmer is still selling the tomatoes @10 Rs in the mandi, but if he goes to the market to buy it, he will get it @30 Rs. The same is the scenario for all other commodities.

If the current equation is maintained, who would question where those 20 Rs are going?

Yes, Capt. Kalkal you are right.

I intend to add another poll in thread for voting in a day or two. Since the start of thread there has been a lot of plitical progress. Since AC Neilson would have had sample population mixed. i.e Jat and Non Jats. We can claim that our studio audience is purely Jat. So it has its own significance. I am sure whatever be the turnout in this phase in new Poll here, would indicate a better and improved scenario of people and voting psyche.

Congress Feeling Heat and so are few other

The Congress candidate Making trips to their area they are feeling heat of Anti-incumbency factor. Some cases

1. Dr. Raghubir Kadyan getting Gali and even some incident of people tried to man handle when he is asking for their support during chunavi duaras.

2. Bhiwani Sitting MLA and congress candidate man handled and some says he got some good slaps on his own residence. :rockHa ha jut marne lag gayee ab janta.

3. Sombir singh congress candidate from Loharu is also getting some very strong question and even he got strong agitation of the public during door to door campaign.

4. Dadari MLA and Congress candidate is so frighted by some incidence he dont want to visit the place after eve and some places even during day.

Share if you have such incidence over your place.

Congress is going to loose the 45 mark. Now independent are in Much much storng positions. Some post writer says that IND are not in good shape but they are having good position here in Loharu and Badhra.

Even if they are not able to make up 45 seats (which is a rare possibility), still they will be the largest party in terms of seats(Even though they are facing heat). So they will be the first ones to be invited by governor to form the govt. They will make the govt then by getting support (khareed) from Independents.

Deepak you seem know and understand far ahead than even CM or Chautala without being in state. You seem to posses an unique sense which we all lack drasticaly. I have no other option than to applaud over the use of word Rare.

Again its otherway with support. Independents negotiate their part in government. They see their benefit along with their constituency's knowing that people won't vote them again if they simply sit in opposition.Though I hardly agree with the use of word Khareed synonymous with support.

Samar I'm keeping a track of assembly elections daily through media, JL and my links (read frens :))in haryana. So its not that unusual to say, which perhaps you are thinking ;), that Congress is going to come in majority again. (And remem i'm not biased towards Congress :))
Aur bhaisaab jab tak aap nirdaliya ko khareedoge nahi wo aapko support nahi dene wala. :p
BTW You are correct wo apna faydaa dekh kar support dete hai.

I didn't use the word khareed as a synonym for support. I just related it to support :)

One very important observation I did while following this thread is that while it does not hurt that bad on the action side of things , it certainly hurts from the inaction side.

while there may be congress supporters and then others and then there is a big class who probably knows very lil andd would go with the momentum.

So if they hear congress is doing well they would tend to side with congress. Probably this is waht is called as "lehar".

It is very important for democracy to flourish to make sure this lehar is opposed to the maximum possible extent because to me :
1) It makes people to take irrational decisions.
2) It makes people idle and keep them on inaction path.

Political activism is something that is very important , while everyone has the opinion , there are few that actually try to do something about it. There are a lot of lip-servers and that will not do good to the nation.

I would request people to keep candidates and parties on their toes by getting the maximum out of them and one step I see is to talk more about your favored than your opposed. Get the information on what your representatives did so that they know that if they dont deliver they can be replaced.

Read in a post( on the same page) that some congress sitting mla's are being hooted and stuff, I would rather defeat those boys even if you are congress supporter , simple reason being that if you make them win , you are sending a message across that as long as you are with a party you are safe.

This came in another thread as well, till the point you stretch these candidates and leaders to realise that there is no substitute of "work" , you will not see the results.
Here is an example:

Party A is in power for 5 years , and did a wonderful job , more than anyone can expect. but two of the sitting MLAs did not do justice , ofcourse you want the govt. back but make sure you get these two sitting MLAs defeated so that the party knows that it has to choose people who does work. Sometime one has to be tough to get the best out of system/people/processes.

Your Vote Samar?

Just now I noticed that you have not Voted here for any party:confused:

Since you are the starter of this great thread, I would like to see your vote also.
Who do you think is going to get majority in this election? :)

Well said Anil!
One good thing I have observed this time is that the farmers are now more aware.
While interacting with them I found that allmost all said that while at one side the rise in the food & vegatable prices is being attributed to lack of rain, the CM is giving statements that monsoon in Haryana has been near normal and is not declaring any place as draught hit.

While people in general are still getting swayed by media propaganda, the real pain with in them is forcing them to look and analyse the things at ground.

Thanks precisely the point we need to make the politial process spread over 5 years than 6 months around the election.

Similar discussions , jaayjaas , opinion polls , performance feedback andd stuff every couple of years will do a lot of good.
Get people to be involved , everyone I mean. :)
