Hello Ashish, I appreciate your on the topic, seat to seat discussion. Keep it up. More than political rivalry, understanding of election process, public psyche/mood, wave creating issues matters. Simply abusing and demeaning other leaders of opposition mainly do harm to one's favourite leader.
As far as scenario today is concerned, Yes, INLD is on rise in Haryana on few seats. OP chautala himself didn't predict it so he has distributed tickets to some dummy candidates. On the other hand Congress went to comfortable zone and distributed tickets mostly to sitting MLAs. Congress' Rahul Ghandhi's promise to project youth appeared a lip service in Haryana assembly. There were many sitting MLAs whose ticket either should have been changed to another area or cut. For example, high commands knew in advance that there is huge antiincumbancy against candidate but not party at following constituency: Beri, Meham, Dadri, Jind, etc. Now congress faced what they never faced here. Candidates were hooted by villagers. Had they given ticket to some new young candidate I am sure situation won't have been worst.
Yes, Hooda's mannerism is purely confident. In many anti-incumbancy areas he is saying that Vote for Bhupinder Hooda. I will do the work. It surprises me that a villagers easily can't access his MLA , how would he access chief minister in Chandigarh? Another question is at how many constituency he would say the same thing?
Though I agree that opposition is on the rise but they still lacking real issues to make a lehar against ruling congress.
Again election had been a bit late than present date, I bet, Congress and Hooda would have been sweating their waist.
Capt. Kalkal,
Seats in HJC quotas are partly of Congress. If they manage 8 seats as per AC Neilson survey, minimum 4 of their MLA would be going to join congress.Mostly HJC comprises of rebel congressi who has no backbone and would join again if some of them win.
Plus you can add Independent winners with Congress as well. So it would increase the total tally of congress in either case. HJC and Independent are fighting to make Hooda CM.
