This case is not even a RAPE or MURDER case!
If DGP Rathod had misused his stature , now its
some news channels using their power.

Dont you think it is much more deplorable then a murder case or rape? We are talking about a 14 yr old gal who was molested, thrown out of school with accusation of being a loose character gal, whose younger bro was tortured, family was hounded by police, and was ultimately forced to take her own life. It;s not that she has committed suicide immediately after the act; it took her 3 years to be broken down to such level. I think in this situation a person would prefer to get murdered rather than go through all this, that too at such tender age.
Now you are accusing media, do you think even now no one should raise their voices? If it;s not media who else is going to take up her cause? It;s only a vigilant media that gives some hope to the country which is infested by police acting as goondas; netas busy in filling their pockets; people like us getting used to "chalta hai" attitude.
The only positives left in country these days are - (1) independent media (2) indian military (3) institutions like IITs, IIMs, IISc, ISRO etc. (4) corporate houses like TATAs, Reliance, IT Cos.
...and the tragedy is that we are paying (taxpayers money) for his cheap thrills...

PLEASE BE SURE WRONG THINS UNDER THE CARPET TODAY WILL COME OUT ONE DAY DEFINITELY AND ONE HAVE TO FACE THE RESULT ( SPS - 19 YEARS, ND TIWARI -88 YEARS) AND SO ON. SO LET US DRAW A LINE BETWEEN WHAT WE WANT TO BE AND WHAT NOT, EVALUATE IT - IS IT RIGHT ? FOLLOW IT ACCORDINGLY. First amend the law and system then talk
What ever punishment has been given to Rothere is based on facts and law as discribed in Indian Penal code he was tried and convicted under section 354 ipc and the maximum punishment for this offence is 2 years. it may from 1 month to 2years dependent on fact and circumstance.So if any person feels agrieved by the order then there is High Court, Supreme court can file an appeal.
And a case is always decieded on the facts alvaiable with the prosecutions.
People are so emotional with there idea's like SPS should be hange, life impresement should be for SPS.
So for all these thing Ist need to amend the law & system. and it is the system which has tempered with the facts of the case not the judiciay. this whole system is corrupt. this hue & cry is because the person involved in this was is a high rank officer. Otherwise you all people know very well that how many number of such cases are being reported ? as per my assumption it's only 1 or 2% otherwise police officers denied to register any case. You all people are very well educated and sitting abord that's why saying all these things, it should be done like this that.Think about Aamadmi for him it's very difficult to file a complaint and register FIR even it took 4 hrs for registration of FIR by wife of Jugde of Supreme Court. so what's about the general population.That's need to amend law. need to make the system transparent and effective.
As everyone know the law of india is hard as weil as flexible, for general population/Aam admi it is hard and the who has ablitiy to module is flexible, they can change it according to them self. and example is SPS Rathore.

whole system is corrupt..... now atleast SPS and all d people who supported him in this case MUST be punished....

The public and media outcry has stirred the govt and they are going to make it as a model case. Now I feel that SPS is going to get more than what he would have got initially, had he let the law takes it own course. This is definitely going to act as a deterrent for persons in power. The case has also ignited the debates for police reforems, and for updating the laws in certain areas, which is a welcome sign.
This also shows that public sentiments can not be ignored. The only problem is that we need severe jolts to wake us up.

Rapists like Rathore should be given the same treatment as shown in this movie...............American Me with Edward James Olsmos. Do not watch this movie with parents, kids around. It shows the hierarchy of American Prison System, How the scores are settled, inside prison gang warfare.
Though I do not fully agree with Karan's views but still I feel that we should learn good things from other nations whether it is US or bangladesh, it does not matter. The Justice system in India is a British legacy. Some of the laws are over 150 years old and are no longer relevant. The same goes with the Police reforms. While the country is making so much progress in areas like Infrastructure, Power, Space etc, it is necessary that similar investment should be made in our justice system too - specially Police and Courts.
